As someone who grew up Christian and just now started deity work, I am so accustomed to needing to pray all the time, about everything. You mentioned having prayers for the holidays and for when you are doing offerings and spells. But are there other times that are normal or is pagan prayer more spread/laise faire about timing?
everybody has their own views on this due to it being a personal preference! you can pray whenever you want (even if it’s to a deity you aren’t working with), or you don’t have to pray at all. i personally like to pray consistently to the god i am working with as a way to show my devoting, but i do not feel obligated to do so.
Omg I totally feel you! Because everyone's practices are so different, I don't feel that there are specific times in which a Pagan MUST pray in the way the Church requires its adherents. I encourage you to pray when YOU feel called to do so. This spirituality is so beautiful because of how personal it is, so just know that there isn't a wrong time to pray!
Dude I completely feel you! I connected with Loki and I find myself just randomly talking to him throughout the day like I would have prayed previously as a Christian. He seems to get a kick out of it but it is Loki after all 😂
For me i like to pray whenever it feels right! (i worship baphomet currently and should be getting a baphomet/pagan rosary soon), sometimes i pray when im scared for security, or when i just want to give my blessings in general! Theres no right or wrong way to pray so dw!! ♡
I use both rosaries and Mala beads. Prayer beads help me focus on the Deity I am communing with. If I do not have prayer beads I will visualize the beads in my mind as I pray.
@@celestialkar7776 you can pray to any entity/being that you want to! there are no rules in witchcraft and so you can do whatever feels right in your practice

I have a series of prayers that I have written for her, and honestly am thinking about publishing! There's a book called Celtic Lore & Spellcraft of the Dark Goddess: Invoking the Morrigan, and there are a few prayers in there!
My parents are deeply Christian and would not except my Change to Norse paganism, what should I do, to continue on my path, while not hurting my parents?
If you're under the age of 18, I would recommend waiting until you're a legal adult to do anything against the express will of your parents as not to put yourself in danger. I encourage you to find common ground with them outside of that, and maybe share what you have learned from a historical perspective! Let them join in your celebrations, or at least leave the door open for them to see it's not as scary/different as they think
