The UN has long recognized the Palestinian right to independence and national sovereignty and it was Israel that has blocked that right. It takes a lot of gall for Israel to stand there and say that the UN is shredding the charter with its action when it is Israel that has shredded the charter by continuing to occupy Palestine.

I've lost count of how many times Israel has ignored UN resolutions regarding its illegal occupation of Gaza, illegal settlements in the West Bank, apartheid system, obstruction of aid etc etc. The number would be higher but for the fact the US has vetoed 90 resolutions in the Security Council so they don't count. Israel ignored the recent UNSC call for an immediate ceasefire, has ignored the ICJ's requirements of unhindered aid and not to do anything that would violate the Genocide convention, and yet this bloke has the audacity to claim the member countries of the UNGA are shredding the charter. It would be funny if it wasn't so deranged.
