How Powerful Is Battle Beast? If you have seen Invincible, you might already be acquainted with their planet-breaking power and how they are one of the strongest species within their respective universe. However, one of the greatest warriors was someone of feline ancestry in the form of Thokk, popularly coined as Battle Beast within the furthest reaches of the cosmos. From conquering thousands of worlds to beating the hell out of the mightiest Viltrumites, it's pretty evident and quite likely that this buff powerhouse is arguably the strongest character in the entire franchise. So, how strong is Battle Beast? Was he truly the strongest warrior in the universe, or was he never worthy of such a title? Not really. back Remember the fight at viltrum? When omni man stood up to thragg for 3 pages while battle beast got literally one-shotted by thragg? Battle beast got a MASSIVE power-up alter in the series.

For me it really helped the transition to the interplanetary scope later in the comics. It makes the universe instantly larger, alludes to where the story will go, and gives this tremendous milestone for where the power scaling would go.

Another thing that should be noted about Thragg vs Battlebeast Don’t smart cells allow Viltrumites to fight at full power even with normally fatal wounds, Battle beast doesn’t have smart cells so wouldn’t that mean Battle beast was in an even more nerfed state physically than Thragg

@@jot_1867 That's not skill, it's an innate biological advantage (and really a superpower in and of itself). It means that Battle Beast became more and more fatigued throughout the fight and with each injury like a normal organism, while Thragg didn't. Despite this, Battle Beast nearly won. The argument presented in the comment we're replying too is that if Battle Beast had a similar ability, he'd likely have won, which is a compelling argument IMO.

No where in the comics is that ever stated or implied. And it would go against the theme of the climax (Thragg was in so much pain from the sun he was slowed down, mark was accustomed to pain and won).

It makes so much sense that Battle Beast is voiced by Michael Dorn in the show. For those who don’t know, he played Worf in Star Trek TNG and DS9 and he was all about being a warrior and fighting with honor.

Usually when an overpowered character is introduced he or she needs an epic entrance, flashbacks or even the power of plot. But Battle Beast? He gets there, he wrecks shits and leaves bored and unsatisfied because the main characters and their friends are too weak against him. Wow what a Chad.

I remember in the comic those Ragnar lived in a planet with unbelievably high gravity yet they were able to jump high enough and fast enough to catch Nolan as he tried to fly away. I think them, and Space Racers were his toughest opponents.

What if he, "Battle Beast" not only had a son. But a whole PRIDE of his children growing up secretly and training secretly under his personal program and regime and philosophy of honor? He was not the only one of his kind but the only one well known to reach that level of strength and power until another of "his kind" or a child takes over the mantle and name of "BATTLE BEAST". Also, what if Thragg foresaw his own downfall and made a contingency plan (in honor of Battle Beast) with the DNA and genetics of Battle Beast and using their technology and genetic advancements, secretly clones him(BB) and he(BB) retains his memory, skill, and strength NONE of which are "watered down". YES. Battle Beast deserves his own series. Just the many possibilities.

Omni Man was shown floating from a distance looking at Battle Beast beating the crap out of Mark and the new guardians but chose not to interfere. He knew better lol. He helped out Mark when he was getting beat by the leader of the alien invasion species (forgot their name) and yes a factor definitely was him wanting to scare them off since he wants Viltrum to conquer Earth, not any other race but he does genuinely care about Mark and he demonstrates it several times throughout the series. He's the type of character that knows his limits and he does what's in his best interest at the time and against Battle Beast he likely would've been killed since he could've been seen worthy enough to be unlike the heroes on Earth that were much weaker than Omni Man.

Against Thragg he was already close enough to swing at, he likely felt the tension and felt as if he had no other choice plus it's more personal with him since you know..he's the dictator/tyrant of his people. With Battle Beast it's more of-why put yourself in harm's way when he hasn't even noticed your presence. Think of it as being weary of a predator in the wild, you respect it from a distance, you'll fight if needed and you may not necessarily be afraid of it but you're aware of what said predator is capable of; same applies here.

Actually, he would have crushed him, but he probably would have thought the fight to be entertaining and worth his time as Thragg himself (who is similar in strength to BB) stated that Nolan was strong and respected that strength and would have otherwise been a worthy candidate to lead the Viltrumite. Yes Thragg was much stronger than him, but Nolan is still one of the strongest of his kind and would probably earn BB's respect at least

I've always argued that Battle beast would have won that fight against thragg if it was a regular 1v1. In the panel when Thragg finally kills him you can see he pulled and destroyed his heart from none other than the wound he inflicted on himself. Even more the cut on his stomach was way deeper than what the Ragnar did on Thraggs's abdomen(the wound BB said made things unfair). I imagine that as the battle went on for days Thragg got more and more desperate, and resorted to using the only major wound Battle beast had as an advantage. Cause in that last panel you see his body is mostly damaged superficially, except for the one place he injured himself.

I can't agree tbh Thragg just has way better feats and the only other time they fought he one shot Battle Beast. I do think with his weapons he has a better chance but that means Thragg could also use them against him. The only guys I see beating Thragg 1v1 fair fight would be EOS Allen or Emperor Mark.

So here's my thingie; Battle Beast would've fatally wounded himself regardless. If he wins, he wouldn't want to live knowing there were no more battles to challenge him. If he loses, he dies in the ultimate battle by a superior foe. I think Battle Beast knew he would've won with no handicap, even if Superman Freddie Mercury wasn't injured. But he didn't want to accept that he was actually the strongest, because that would've been worse than dying. Living without purpose

You're commenting on a video about Invincible, a series with incredible amounts of gore and violence, very adult themes, a _rape scene,_ and even includes swearing, yet a harmlessly tame comment including a single comically minor curse word is too far for you? *_That_* crosses the line? There's images in this very video of people being horribly maimed and having their organs ripped out of them, but saying "damn" is just too much for you to take? BB may have "lost" against Thragg, but it was actually a draw fight, because Thragg would have died if not for his medical team saving Thragg after the fight. I'm not gonna count BB being unarmed against Thragg though, since BB specifically chose to be unarmed.

Battle Beast is just Yujiro Hanma if he was born as. a Space Lion or something. He wants all the smoke. He truly exists purely for problems. He shows up to your party, you better leave and hope you have insurance. Because somebody's getting knocked and that place is gonna be destroyed. Battle Beast may not be a Viltrumite in blood like Mark, Nolan, and Thragg, but he certainly has the warrior mentality to end.

The problem here is that Battle Beats had to be killed because of plot. The comic book writers deliberately left it ambiguous. Yes BB injured himself to make it "fair". But at the same time Thrag was also injured. Who knows what would have happened if they both fought at full strength. BB has got better physiology for fighting, Thrag stronger healing factor and flight.

You can wank Kenpachi to uni all you want but you can also get Battle Beast to uni via canon cross over scaling. On top of that no wank can get Kenpachi even close to Battle Beast terms of speed

To me not really. All of those characters were kinda hyped up and foreshadowed before they appeared on screen. Battle Beast was a completely random opponent who was just unworldly strong almost for no reason. He had no reputation or hype in the series. He's closer to Boros from One Punch Man to me as far as random impact

Battle Beast vs Kenpachi... that's rough. DC and durability-wise, I'd say Kenpachi should have the edge; he should be low-planetary to planetary in shikai, scaling from the ease of his asteroid and boundary breaking feats, and his Bankai would make him ten times stronger than that, however his endurance has yet to be truly tested. If Battle Beast can survive long enough then Kenpachi could be worn down enough to falter, and we know for a fact that Battle Beast had ridiculous endurance and stamina. The main issue is that, as of this year, Kenpachi's story isn't yet over. He's had over a decade to become stronger and perfect his abilities, which were still brand new during the war against the Quincies, and over the next few years we'll likely see him fight against the denizens of Hell in the new arc and show his new limits.

BB is def stronger than Thragg. It's the fundamental conflict to his character that he IS the most powerful, but also the least invested in the outcomes of the violence.
