Why didn't sith use force choke using duels? Find out in our regular length video! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BFRJ84YCc9I.html
@The Watcher they didn't start this rule until like 10,000 or more years of sith and Jedi. Because the sith almost wiped themselves out with infighting.
The potential for Malgus to return could've been Legendary! (Malgus never died, but was frozen in carbonite for Valkorion and the Eternal Empire. At least to my knowledge)
He did return in SWOTOR assuming the last 2 DLC take place after KOTET, however that would be an awesome canon way to do the character, even if he’s just a decoration in thrawns office
Vader: I’m a cyborg Sith Lord! Malgus: *same* Vader: well… I sacked the entire Jedi temple! Malgus: *been there done that* Vader: b*tch I even killed my own wife! Malgus: *who hasn’t?* Vader: dude you are fukkked up
Ngl, I actually think that Vader and Malgus would be best friends if they were alive on the same era. Edit: after a Careful analysis of both characters, I came to the conclusion that they would be rivals indeed and not "best friends as I previously stated."
@Mr_Sinseer nah palps is way more powerful in the force. You're also forgetting vader is one of the best duelist in the galaxy. Malgus may be able to(big maybe I'm not sure), beat vader. But vader killed the most jedi out of any sith. So mr malgus has his work cut out
Anakin also had the element of surprise with the help of the entire god damn clone army meanwhile malgus shows up with a transport carrier cram packed with his fellow sith friends and take over the temple in less than an hour
The Old Republic era, in my opinion, has the greatest potential for future series, I honestly hope instead of ruining Revan and Malgus and all of that, they just recanonize KOTOR and SWTOR (maybe through KOTOR HD Remakes and an announcement on SWTOR’s upcoming 10th anniversary?)
I want to see a Mass Effect styled series of the Old Republic in a way that you have a series of games and your choices affect story in dramatic ways…. But give it a better end than ME3.
I didn't know this fun fact, someone else shared on another Malgus Short: Darth Malgus, after having slain all the Jedi at the temple, had enough respect for them to have them buried afterward.
Respectfully, I highly doubt that. Malgus was not the kind of person who had respect for his enemies. There were (kinda?) honourable sith , for example lord scourge, but malgus was for sure none of them. Malgus is the kind of guy that stabs you in the back just because it's benefits his purposes and afterwards he would spend a mere second thinking about it
He also seemed to have ok qualities, like tolerance of aliens and recognised strength comes through variety and working together. His speech when you attack his Station in swtor FP shows that. So burying the Jedi would be in keeping. Also upon FP completion his little speeches were actually pretty calm and considered for a Sith. He was probably in some ways the most stable and forward thinking 'reasonable' leader. For a Sith...
Malgus wasn't a cyborg until later on after he forms his short lived Empire. Other than that he just high tech gear with breathing capabilities for the wound inflicted by Satele Shan
Malgus was also known for being an incredible strategist and caused actual change and tolerance for aliens within the Sith Empire. He was surprisingly merciful to his subordinates and hated other Sith killing people under them with a passion, knowing it made the Empire weaker and unstable. Had he approached things differently instead of betraying the Empire, the movies would be focused on the Sith Empire, rather than the Galactic Republic.
"I fight because that is what I was made to do and the Empire is the instrument through which I realize my purpose. The Empire is war made manifest. That is why it is perfect." Darth Malgus
Maybe but Malgus was a brutal and merciless guy, he would have seen Vader as a thread to his position as sith enforcer and he would have tried to kill him, if he would have won is another thing tho
@@_Chaosnight_ He wasn’t merciless, he respected the Jedi for their close connection to the force, he actually buried the Jedi he killed in respect for their ambition and connection to the force
@@levisperling138 Respect for another warrior and mercy are two different things, yes he respected those he fough but he fought without mercy in his heart, cutting all down that challenged him He even killed his own lover because he thought she was making him weak and emotional
@@KingOfLesbia Yep, but they were different type of force ghosts, they were rather dark side spirits that were bound to a place or an object. Marr on the other hand, for some reason managed to unite himself with the force, like jedi, and became a light side type force ghost. He is an exception among the sith but still, i don't know how did he do that.
@@emzonik8851 I heard that sith have very strong attachments so they are bound to one place after they die, their emotions linger as illusions of themselves, but Marr was selfless in serving the sith empire, so he had no attachement which allowed him to not anchor in one place. Don’t take my word as the truth, it’s all I could remember.
Were Jedi allowed to ever have sex? Think about it. Sure they can just chop and split and never see that person again but what if they eventually meet someone and get attached to them and want to develop a relationship with them. Since they’re not allowed to have relationships, meeting people could eventually lead them to develop feelings for them.
@@linhardtvonhevring805 But that was an exception. His species had the problem, that there were nearly no males born. So Ki Adi Mundi was allowed to have multiple children to help his species to survive
@@yggunshot8402 i disagree. Vader is portrayed to be even more powerful in legends than he is in canon. Vader is the best lightsaber duelist of literally all time. On top of that when he lost to obiwan as Anakin he lost a lot of his potential im the force but at the same time got stronger with the force. He has taken hundreds if not thousands of batallions of enemies and has conquered. Vader wouldn’t stomp Malgus but if they fought ten times I have Vader winning 7-8 of those fights.
@@CelestQB Have you actually looked into any eu/legends material to support that? Vader has never conquered hundreds of thousands of warriors at once in legends and Knightfall Vader is much, much more powerful. Knightfall Vader single handedly infiltrated the jedi temple on coruscant (he had clone troopers but was still doing most of the work) killing hundreds of jedi all on his own at once whilst causing mass destruction as confirmed by the revenge of the sith novelization, video game etc. He also possessed more raw power than Yoda and Sidious combined. In suit Vader had trouble fighting a Maul clone.
Fwiw Malgus' sack of the temple also was helped a lot because most of the best Jedi were at the Alderaan Peace Accords or across the galaxy. There was only one master which made it easier. None of that to minimize how much of a badass malgus was.
He became more cybernetic later on when the war flared up again and he launched a coup against the Sith Empire, as well as after that coup failed and he was rebuilt by the Sith Empress Acina.
Always love seeing SWTOR content on this channel! Makes me want to see how SWTOR connected itself to the rest of the universe before the Legends cut. Were there references to Vitiate outside of SWTOR? Did any legends content refer to the Eternal Empire before its decanonization?
There is actual truth in tapping into one’s hatred, & anger. However, caution should be maintained. As when one cools down it takes a physical toll, in it’s emotional taxation. Likewise, one’s increased urges for bloodlust goes without saying.
Actually the sacking of Coruscant wasn't just something with brute force and confidence. There were peace talks going on at a summit between the Republic and Empire. The Empire took advantage of the Republic's top individuals and defenses being at the peace talks. Essentially, they struck when Coruscant was underdefended, taking advantage of the peace talks to basically make the "Treaty of Coruscant" an imperial victory.
