My name is Kyndal Ray Edwards! And a 15 year. I tried to take my life twice, overdose numerous times, lost my heartbeat, prison, twice in county, jail 11 times with 13 felony convictions on my record and about 40 cases in general. I’m not proud of any of that, but I have changed my ways! I grew up in a good household, and with freedom, and allowing myself to partake in the things that the crowd around me was taking in, I went down a really bad path for quite a while! I have changed my life and made a 180° turn in the opposite direction from the things that are currently taking so many people that we love and care about! After getting out of prison, and doing five years, I walked across America for mental health, awareness, and Recovery! And I’m still going! From Jan 1, 2022-April 12, 2023 I walked across America from Jacksonville Beach Florida with my feet in the Atlantic Ocean all the way to Long Beach Washington State to put my feet in the Pacific Ocean! I walked across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington! I had a lot of obstacles and setbacks but through it all I kept going! I walked for Mental Health Awareness, Recovery, and Habits 365! I walked in memory of people who lost their lives to drug overdose and/or suicide and for the people that are currently struggling with those issues! I completed 3,292 mi putting my feet in the Pacific Ocean on April 12th 2023 which is my four year drug free date! I hope you enjoy the recap! I hope you will follow as the journey is not over and I will be walking down the west coast! Picking back up on July 7th!

I love following you Kyndal!! I'm so glad I found you on Facebook by accident on a Santa Cruz page I follow, but yet God always has a plan he probably meant for me to find you my son struggles with addiction and it's hard as a mother to see that. Anytime I struggle I turn to pot. Which I know isn't healthy for me. I just feel better after because I don't feel much, it numbs me at 55 I still self medicate and not sure why I do but im sure being full of anxiety doesn't help. God Bless You & Stay Safe
