Goddamn, the bits of animation you drop here and there is like having a tiny prince of Egypt quality of animation sprinkled between consistent and solid ass explanations! U are criminally underrated, I’m subscribed dude
It's amazing how at such a young age, your abilities have blossomed to such an extraordinary extent, an extent that can easily be compared to the Disney masters and wont look or appear out of place.
Loved the mouth sync you did at the beginning.. Your Animation style is amazing.. I am so happy to see this cool and smooth Animation.. It inspires me to make more as a Nigerian also.
Great video, man, but the audio made it really hard to pay attention. [Your plosives kept popping on the mic] Either sit a little further away from the mic, or add a pop filter [or make one]. But Great art, and really good info!...EDIT: Actually never mind. I think it was just this video. I watched another one of your videos and it doesn't have that issue! My Bad!
I’m sorry about the audio. I’m still figuring things out and I’ll continue to improve. Thanks for the advice. I’ll make sure it’s better in the next video!🙏🏾✨🙏🏾✨
@@joshuaadeoye Oh, No worries! Still a great video! I watched a couple other videos and I saw you didn't have that issue on those, so maybe just a one off! You're good! Forget I said anything😅
You're so underrated, your videos make me excited to draw! I want to make model sheets for some of my characters now, thank you for the motivation to do so!
Nice video bro. I like seeing talented Nigerians on this app. One thing sha-your plosives (p and b sounds) were very loud. You can fix this by combining the following: -Use a pop filter. E nor too cost like that -Record your vocals with your mic at an angle as opposed to talking directly into it -Use software like izotope rx or premiere pro audio fx to tame the plosives -Use an equalizer to tame those frequencies.
One of the reasons I love characters sheets is that you can look into any detail of the characters and see different versions of the characters looks like the joker in tnba.
I've been struggling with how to draw my model sheets properly and this video has helped organize my thoughts through your guidance! Thank you so much for this! God bless you!
Once again, you are amazing! Stellar editing and so much love in your videos! Jin Kim was probably one of the main reasons, why I started a career as an artist as well
Amazing video! I would love to hear your take on drawing in other styles as well as tips on more expressiveness in posing and acting. I also lovee the animations you put into the video, you're so inspiring
Thanks so much! I’ll definitely do a video on finding your style! Acting is more related to animation, and I’ll be covering animation a little later on. Thanks again for the kind words! 🙏🏾✨✨🙏🏾
I need to make more model sheep instead of the caricature itself that might be a reason why I like face memes, or the face challenge of people print up because it really gives me a chance to animate or what their facial expressions might look like
I only watched one of your video and fell in love with your channel immediately.. Its exactly what I have been looking for, for the past yrs I have been Animating..❤
just found this channel. Amazing video i would like to see that video with drawings in different styles. I'm doing a lot of personal studying in animation so that would be great.
I'M SO HAPPY YOU TALKED ABOUT JIN KIM RIGHT FROM THE GET GO OMGG I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE OF AMAZEMENT AND HIS MODELS HELPED ME SO MUCH I'm sorry for the caps, it's just awesome to know someone else felt the same way. I actually was reminded of his work a little bit when I saw your video on drawing characters consistently lol Loving your work, the animations and clear cut instruction/editing make your videos a tier above the rest, thanks for everything!
hello Joshua , wishing a good day/evening i come across ur videos and i wanna say big thank u , u explain things in easy way tht i can get so easy when it comes to drawing , and u link ur talk so nicly without much buffling between or jumping between things , i reallly loved how useful ur videos and strightforwrd are they !! keep up im a fan
Your videos are an incredible baseline for anyone who wants to build a portfolio with readable line work and strong design choices. So excited for whatever you plan on teaching us next!
Very grateful for each piece of information you share. They're super concise, succinct, and helpful. I wish the algorithm picks up and spreads your work more!! 🙏
This is an amazing video. Top to bottom. Great advice. Great language. Great useful hacks. Great concepts. AND amazing little bits of animation. Jesus how do you not have a bazillion subscribers.
Hi Joshua, thanks for uploading such an informative and relevant video. This is a great reference video to have in an animator’s arsenal to make the right kind of model sheet for their projects. I would just like to add one thing to what you have said here. In my short films- I have a habit of listing all the important poses in the shots and/or scenes, their character expressions and body language, and adding it to my character sheet. Because more often than not we might end up using just those poses.
Thank you so much for this! Your explanations are so concise and easy to understand! Also, would you consider showing us how you draw hands?? You draw them so dynamic and interesting, and I’d like to draw hands like that instead of all stiff 😂
I cant answer if worth or not making a reference sheet but this started to be useful for me making animation, I did a unfinishined sheet of a character and I still building her design, btw while watching this video I could quit alot of doubts.
Man this is the first video i saw of yours and IMMEDIATELY subbed, you're so frickin talented and your animation is sooo smooth and clean! Love your work, keep it up!
Great video, very useful, and a good companion to the turnaround video. I'm a sucker for model sheets, especially when they have handwritten reference notes. But those plosives though! Throw a sock over your mic for us headphone users
Omg! I didn't know you had a RU-vid channel!! Love seeing your stuff on IG! You're so amazing and as a fellow Nigerian, you inspire me on my art journey. Thank you.
…holy crap the first few secs of your vid made me want to animate! Ooh the clean sketches of your characters movement! I almost slipped cause of how buttery smooth it is!!!! ✨
Always wondered what those nice looking artworks that contained diferent views of the character was called 😮 Just found your page; I have subsiribed and I'm pumped to create! Looks like we fam as well! "Bawoni egbon, se wa dada?😊"
It's so insane how underrated you are!! I was blown away by the quality and love put into this video :] I don't even animate and i feel like I learned something lol, and i love your character :D
I just binged all of your videos and subscribed! I love the way you format your videos and I really enjoy watching your art process. It's also great to find another black artist to learn from on this platform :) Keep up the great work!
Great video. Love the tips. The audio was a little rough though. Maybe get a pop filter, or speak past the mic instead of into it to reduce the plosives blowing out the audio. Now for the character turn around video, cause I need that bad 😅
Thank you so much for the video!! Been feeling a little lost and down about my art and randomly came across this. Now i can plan to do something!! And with great tips! I always wondered what poses to draw my characters and never really considered "things they would be normally doing" i always just wanted them to be cool looking. Gotta try this! Thanks!
i like how its straight to the point no asking for stuff or trying to sell anything just straight to the point what you asked for. as someone who wants to work in art when older thanks for the help!
This is the second video of yours that I am watching and I am amazed at the quality of the videos and how straight to the point they are. I care a lot about quality and presentation and you are knocking it out of the park. The animation you do, here and there, is also really great, it’s absolutely professional work! I am not doing any animation or concept art but your videos are entertaining anyway! Good job!
@@joshuaadeoye I am an artist so I probably fit in the art nerds class.🥸 What I meant was that I focus on things like illustration more than animation and concept art.
@joshuaadeoye You're such a talented artist and animator, just absolutely fluid and gorgeous motion of the characters! Such animation is always a treat to see, awesome work! ❤️ ✏️
