@@omegahimura3743 he made it because that’s how he believes it should be played. It’s a simulation of truck driving so to me it’s supposed to be played realistically but then again it allows you to play however you want.

I dont think you understand how wide these truck cabs are in real life, its not like driving a compact car you have to turn your head. This is true for 95% of truck convential and cabover

the rest of the video is just as bad-ish, its the right idea but definitely not a pro. a pro doesn't hesitate when turning left at the crossroads, as long as the road is clear you indicate and go. no point in waiting for traffic that's not even there. also pros use advanced trailer coupling, they use engine brakes + retarder, they use air brakes simulation to actualy enforce the use of the retarder + engine brake, they have it set that you always have the hardest parking difficulty set before you enter the drop off area so you just come in and unload without having to stop, pros have key binds for hydraulics to raise and lower suspension for different trailer types in aid of advanced trailer coupling, most pros use the truck speed limiter too. and the parking at the rest stop could've been executed way better for a pro as the trailer was still in the other bay! this guy has the right idea of a pro but is more of an intermediate than a pro. also isn't there a setting for more realistic fuel consumption too? i'd definitely consider myself a pro, i use all them features and it made me way more aware of the game than i was before i used all that. oh and also the thing about training policy for workers is stupid, i find it that in the long run my workers are way better on balanced than they are on a specific training policies as i have some drivers that make me up to 60k per day. honestly i didn't learn anything from this video but i hope this guy does get better with time.

there is a mod for that. its called an economy mod

You can decrease the income by console with g_income_factor, e.g. 0,07 is only 7% which will lead to 2…4 Euro/km
