2:42 What he is reciting is called Ad-Du'a Al-Istiftah (the opening invocation). It is said right after the Takbeer Al-Ihraam (the first Allahu Akbar that begins the Prayer). This first Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) renders doing things prior to the prayer Haram (unlawful), hence why it is called Takbeer Al-Ihraam. You are not allowed to chat or greet people as you are engaged with your Lord until Tasleem (the end of the Prayer). The video is edited as he rises up from prostration which takes places later on after the Du'a Al-Istiftah: Subhanaka Allahumma wa bi-Hamdik, wa Tabaraka-Asmuk, wa Ta'ala Jadduk, wa La ilaha ghayruk. Exalted, Glorified above all imperfections are You O Allah, and Blessed is Your Name, and Exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no God worthy of worship but You. Then he begins reciting Al-Fatihah. All mankind are welcome to become Muslims and pray like the Malãa'ikah (angels) and Prophets and believers worship the Creator of this world. If you do that you'll get the light of Eemaan inside the heart as a reward in this life and the Eternal Jannah 'Adn (Paradise of Delight) after this life. That part of the video is worth more than trillions of what this entire world contains if you only knew.

Alfred Nobel, the creator of dynamite, later created the Nobel Peace Prize because he was disgusted by his invention being turned into a deadly weapon. Afghanistan has existed for thousands of years, albeit with shifting borders. Cutting through your finger with a tile saw is not easy. The guy polishing the gems tried to make it sound hard, but as a gem polisher myself it's really not. Cutting and sanding wood is way more dangerous, not only do you use actual blades but the grits you use are much lower. A gem wheel can barely take off the first layer of skin in the time it takes for a wood belt sander to rub a whole finger raw.

Previously, during the republic government, the Panjshir Valley was completely dominated by the Panjshiri people, not the Taliban. The Panjshir Valley is also known as a place for mining gems. For the past 20 years, the Panjshir locals have been involved in smuggling the vast majority of the gems. Even government officials were not allowed to enter the Panjshir Valley, as the entire area was surrounded by the locals. The Panjshiri people were considered by the Afghan people to be among the worst tribes in Afghanistan, being involved in various types of crimes, with 95% of those involved originating from Panjshir.

Those extra 4 hours add on an additional $82 for a total of $210. It really is sad that it’s so impossible for people in impoverished countries like this to come to wealthier countries like America, Canada, or Germany. I see flights from Istanbul to Kabul for $400-$900 for one person. I’m not sure how much it would be if it was the other way around but I still don’t think it would be affordable for him.

Good knowledge, Kevin. All tourmalines will fracture (or craze) if cut the wrong way. Best way to avoid fracturing during the cutting process is to use hot water. Oil will also prevent fracturing during cutting.
