How reliable is a 2014 Dodge Durango? 52,125 Miles later

My 16 gt motor started acting up at 230k…I think the damage was done wen replacing housing oil filter slightly lil too late. trans at 76k just did a drain and fill every 60k now

@@Switzerlandboy420 the best thing i put on my durango was a catch can , it eliminated the valves ticking sound, and also ATi polly with 6% overdrive, and i advise you using catalytic converter cleaner additive every other fuel fill for three months straight, now after doing that my muffler tips dripping water and that means the catalytic converter is clean and working properly because if the catalytic system is not clean it makes the engine run weird.

@johnny-zh5fj my durango was very good to me never left me in bad situation, you only have to listen to it , never ignore small things and sounds, i advise you to replace certain parts based on life span never wait for it to go bad such as the belt every 70000 miles oil every 5000 miles, transmission fluid every 40000 miles differential fluid every 40000 miles, i know it’s a big commitment but this will keep your durango in mint condition.

This one currently has 90000 and it feels solid still. I recommend it. Just make sure you stay on top of the maintenance

Yea it’s an rt. I reviewed it if you scroll threw my vids a couple months back. Features are standard sunroof leather no blind spot. Pretty basic. Rides and sounds aggressive though
