I actually wanted to make a legit fun game that wasn't cash grabby. Unfortunately I was chased off the platform by other developers, something I wish this video brought more attention to. Alas, roblox isn't my main focus anymore and I'm making mods as projects now.
@@fishii8237 You'd be shocked. Some go as far as to hire exploiters to raid your game if they don't like the rivalry. Edit: Forgot to mention there are also times they will use these exploiters to also steal from rival devs. I can't remember what project it was I was working on that this happened with but it was basically a project a friend was making.
@@fishii8237 It's fine. In fact I was much happier working on stuff outside of Roblox and it helped as well in terms of mental health. I guess Roblox just was not meant for me in the end. As of right now my current project is an arcane based mod a friend wanted me to make but I can't exactly mention anything aside that.
Cuz he gained our trust form the start, I played since 2 updates after beta, it wasn't p2w and legit fun overall, I quit for a year, and now it's like this, he used that real job ideology, like your boss showing you thee ropes to a job all chill and bla blah, but once you get into it, he flips his mood and makes the work feel like your job is put in hell, the betrayal I felt was immeasurable and my weeks have been ruined.
The only way this will ever stop is if Roblox gets into legal trouble and is forced to crack down on games that have anti-player monetization strategies, or just games using properties that they don't own (basically every anime game, we already have a taste of this with Pokemon Brick Bronze and Shinobi Life 2 to an extent), because as long as these games exist, it only benefits the Roblox company in the end
Eventually roblox will probably get into a huge legal battle either with an anime corporation or a government entity that is against gambling. But only time will tell

About the propertie they don't own is a massive problem i remember even a case where a creator of Indie game got his game copied and when he forced Roblox to take down the game multiple times the players attacked him
Since everyone hate these games, I encourage you to try out Fantastic Frontier. Very fun exploring, mob and boss fighting game that is F2P friendly (you don’t get much from shops anyway). It’s a game that average like 100 players, which imo means it’s massively underrated.
Second this, Fantastic Frontier is one of the best games on the platform and it's criminal how underrated it is for the amount of effort and care that's been put into it
The spin system on Project Slayers isn't as bad as others because codes for spins are very frequently released and as of recently getting spins is very easy, but the insane buffs are the issue. The system itself is fine but there are some things you can spin that are blatantly unbeatable unless you have something equally or more rare. This means that if you happen to be unlucky enough to not get one of those high tier spins, you're basically a free kill for any player that WAS lucky
I don't think so, for a long time i did 1v1s with a common clan which doesn't have any buffs and won against tons of supreme clans ppl, if you are good enough, having a good clan or not is not a problem and i can say that by own experience.
I think Type Soul also kinda falls into this, as they finally put shikai rerolls in the drop pool (as a rare drop, meaning it's kinda common) and the codes are semi frequent
Anime dimensions used to be that one fun game you played, but everything changed when the limited event raids was constantly added every update with characters you can easily miss out on, instead of actually trying to add fun content, plus the game has gotten so much pay to win it is insane, especially with the new traits/speed raid and limited paid characters...

Christmas alter has no business being better than shadow monarch or any other raid character even tho its just a gem character thats some bullshit luckily i have her but its still dumb
I pretty much given up on the game anyway, since there is no way a free to play like me who doesn't play 24/7 can get in the leaderboards again. I used to be like top 30 in time challenge, but now I have completely fallen off because the game wont let me update my cards with actual good substats, nor is it easy to get divine trait/pet, especially since they decided to nerf infinite grinding for some reason.
I totally agree with your opinion on AOPG. The first major thing they added was conquerors which was a 0.001 chance to get on drop but every now and then he would increase the chances to .1 or 1 percent OR u could just pay a tiny price of 3000 robux and he would repeat this process for everything like boss drops and swords forcing u to buy the game passes just to be atleast strong in the game
Its crazy lot of people criticize Shindo Life while its the least p2w game among these, while they play games like these. Shindo u can get everything free in 1 month, maybe less if u a addict.
This is why i love vetex (Creator of arcane odyssey). The guy has been working on it for a long time and still hasnt stopped, and doesnt create any pay to win stuff. Real respect for the guy

Speaking from experience devs "usually" start out by making passion projects as we're young, passionate and also dumb... they're just fun ways for us to put love into something and hope its loved by many others UNTIL you touch 17-18 and your parents start pressuring you for cash, if you grew up in poverty.. the real world hits you and you find out just how hard life can be.. Roblox is a great way for devs to get rich quick, some like myself and partner don't rely on money but we also admit that it's a necessity and do need some forms of monetization for game updates to continue. Some fall victim to greed and don't ever recover from it. Also Thebossinnicar or whatever his name is, doesn't dev from my knowledge he buys games from devs and updates them. Aopg he stuck by for development i think, but Titan warfare was it? Anime fighters and another game he bought... anime fighters was his most recent purchase and he probably spent a cool 7 figures on that because can guarantee he's making 6 figs a month from that shit. (I myself fell victim to AFS spending before new ownership and i'm still probably top 10 on spending leaderboard, 7k down the drain
Man, I miss Titan Warefare, the cashgrab mainly was just from the gacha skin system and the colossal gamepass, but colassal wasn't all that good of a titan.
No idea if this is really what you meant or if I didn't read it correctly, but Titan Warfare was never purchased. The game is still owned by it's original developers aka robby, sharp, and ore. It just got abandoned due to players having a lack of interest, and due to the high skill curve the game has. The devs since then have worked on Neo Soccer, and are now also working on jjk infinite, which seems to be a bandit beater, jujutsu kaisen styled game.
The roblox community thinking they just dodged a bullet because they didnt spend money on pet sim x (its mid and very expensive) while also playing the most manipulative games in roblox and spending thousands of dollars
The all seeing eye also used to be a $60 gamepass that was a fruit tracker, while still over priced it was somewhat nice that people who bought that one got the $200 version automatically.
@@TechyOP_yeah that part was pretty nice, but like the only good thing with gamepasses. The other thing I’ve seen that was close to that from gpo was the 1st anniversary backpack which lets you store more than one type of fruit storage. . .but only if you have the gamepass to begin with. . .

I’ve got no problem with Roblox gachas. The problem is definitely the meager rates. While cosmetics are understandable, rates for things that give you an advantage over others is insane. Some games will purposefully aim towards premium users as well, with very powerful premium benefits in simulators (you get money for like every hour a premium user spends on your game)
to be fair a 0ne piece game (the one piece game with tons of bundles that cost over 1k robux) put tons of effort on making the bundles animations , visual etc, and theese expensive gamepasses are the way the devs are getting paid
The roblox anime community needs to come together and make a passion project that will shut down the stupid uncreative roblox devs and actually make roblox anime games great again.
Doesn’t have to be anime based games, because those are easily carried by already created IP’s that the devs doesn’t even own, they can be easily taken down at any moment. Just create a fun fighting game like black magic or something, then add extra mechanics and immersive experience, so the game is actually a game with progression.
Not gonna happen lmao, most players dont care about quality, if the game has one piece fruits, it'll get players regardless of how dogshit the game is. Roblox players will spend money and hundreds of hours on brainrotting anime games and then disregard them as "just a roblox game", they do not care about making a "passion project" or playing something better, they just want a game to kill time on. Majority of players don't have these discussions or care enough to participate in them
The way those p2w games got popular made me give up on developing anything on roblox cuz usually the copypaste games always go to the popular tab easily
TheBos, yes . Is a really money hungry developer, however . Anime fighterd wasnt his fault. It was pre-owned by Daireb and BronzePiece, they added the p2w features, however. They’re actually frying to make the game f2p and fun by listening to their community.
You got the aa thing very wrong. Gems are really easy to get since you can get over 2000+ a day just from daily quests. History quests also give you a lot from gems so it doesn’t make units that hard to get. And even tho traits really upgrade units, you don’t need them to progress the game like any player would since you can play with other people for the grinds.
I didn't understand why people was so hyped for Anime Fighters Simulator back, and when the game came back its was the same game with very little changes (in my opinion) and just put more game passes to people in. I reccomend people to play another game instead to play a cash grab game
Imo anime fighter hype is cause the past it too success and bassicly you can reach the end game while being f2p esspecsily when the game stop update for a year which accidently or not grap couple thousand of player to grind till max and when the update came out they have to grind again and again the biggest proplem with these later update is the level cap increse too high and the only way to obtain exp is incubator but it still could take a week for an end game player to have a truly max out fighter it really sad that the case the player base are begging for the game to add a way to get gamepass free so yea also a lot of the game current player is the one that play from release or previous update till now and there not that much new player so yea

Hello, I saw this video in my recommendations today and even tho I don't play Roblox anymore still gave it a watch. You really hit the nail on all the problems these games have. I stopped playing Roblox around 14 years old in 2021 and my main reason for it was because this platform stopped promoting good and passionately made games. Of course there would still be gems made here and there but they had next to no player counts or would just be left dead sooner than they should because Roblox as a site doesn't support that. I remember back then Roblox used to advice kids to not spend their robux on sketchy games but now it seems like they just want them to get scammed as Roblox itself profits from it. I'd really like if you make a video about this as this is a problem outside of these anime games and about Roblox as a whole. To end my comment on a lighter note, I love the meme games side of Roblox. Stuff like "Raise a Peter" or "Making memes in your basement at 3 am tycoon" are some of the games I went back and played. Those games dont want your retention 24/7 or want to hoard all your robux, they just want you to play the game.
tower battles, tower blitz, black magic 2, bee swarm simulator, retro studio, booga booga, pixel gun tower defense, islands, offbeat journeys. so many good games on roblox that don't get enough attention nowadays.

all those games getting over 10k players, would probably get more with xbox support tho, cause currently we still got nothing, hell the 2 the boss game you pointed out are for some reason insanely popular with xbox as I see over 100s of post about them, with our next best game being shindo/sl2 mostly cause again yeah we don't really have much, it's like being dehydrated in the desert, with an oasis always out of reach.
Growing up I always wanted to make Roblox games. This was around 2011-2014. Later I went into another profession. Seeing something I wanted to do so tainted with p2w tactics to essentially take money from children who don't know better is disgusting.

All im seeing is more and more reasons to become a roblox game developer. Not only can you profit off any popular IP you want without repercussions, but you can release your game on a platform where your playerbase is practically secured off rip. So why waste time making your own player models and building the infrastructure for a fan project in engines like Unity, risking the idea of your project being shutdown at any moment post release when you can hop on roblox and create the same thing for better benefits?

I'm gonna be real anime adventures is probably one of the most generous games f2p wise, the mythic units are not hard to obtain. The only thing that's generally a bad system is the trait rerolls, however you don't even need a good trait to clear 99% of the content
The mythic star remnants reroll thing is just terrible like it should be 2 or 3 for a reroll and rerolls are also too expensive it’s literally 1$ every reroll and they usually made evolving new units extremely grindy and ever since the Christmas upd hell ever since the Halloween upd the game was goin downhill and I’ve been playing the game like since hour 1
Yk, some games have expensive prices due to the fact on how there trying to improve but they didn't have the *proper* funds to do it Now: *A* one piece has every fund it needs, it just makes people want to get stronger, but don't realize how much USD there using onto it, making the person more richer, and more funds for themselves, more than the game

I remember when a one piece game was about one piwce, i played it about a year ago, got everything since the chances were meh, not too bad, and you could trade most stuff so people could get good fast, i came. Back about a month ago with all these "1%" chances, i thought, oh, easy, ive been grinding for a week and i dont have g5, but many things like gryphon i was able to get easily within such time, and then the multiversal seas i didnt notice till i saw it on youtube, support styles seemed nice, until i realized the best, suhc as gojo, was insanely hard to get and insanely annoyint too, with all the new stat requirements and all other stuff, i can see why its p2w now, oh how the little bit of greeedy dev has fallen, now one of the most greedy devs ive seen in awhile
It really sucks how games that take so much time and effort like Anime Tales, get almost no players compared to cash grabs. It really is a good game, actually really unique tbh. But it gets almost nothing.

Anime tales is kinda mid, it's just auto clicker simulator and most of the GUI's are taken from a very small and not so popular game called Genshin Impact
The thing is that kids do spend money blindly on these games, and in the end when they reach stuff like the 4th or 5th world they find out that the pets/items/accessories/characters there are stronger than what they purchased. Now i do get that this is incredibly greedy, but we really never know if the developers behind these games really need the money. They make these games for the younger audiences because they know that is the best method of earning money, heck half of what they earn probably go to the game. It is really greedy to make the bundles/gamepasses over 1k and i truly respect the developers who make simulators for fun or that their game pass is very small in price.
What i really think is insane that AO has such a good potential but they just didnt update faster enough and as u can clearly see ppl like these type games now like AFS having 120k players on A SINGLE UPDATE IS CRAZY
what's AFS? also wdym AO "had" good potential, it still has if people didn't like the content it had and stuff then that's completly their problem because it's an early access game. AO will 100% rebound with the nimbus update at latest.

your actually very wrong about afs. The boss (brandon) has only owned afs for 1 week and alot of people respect him. daireb is the one who made all the game passes. the only gamepasses brandon made was instant reroll and auto attack.

Type Soul has terrible rates cause most of the 1% are strong. The game itself isn't bad, the progression is good, the visuals are nice, and the PvP is awesome. I mean how are they gonna make money for their work without gamepasses? They got 11 developers and they all need to get paid. Which can be said for all roblox games. If you work you want to get money from it, like youtube for an example. You work, people watch the video, and you get money from the ads. Yes nobody spends money, but you cant really put ads in your Roblox game and get money from it when people look at it. And cause you said "thats why we dont get good roblox games anymore" that is somewhat true but you always can just play a different game, outside of roblox. If you make a video about this topic please do some research, before writing your script. If you buy a Video game (outside of roblox) which doesn't include a single player mode, the Publisher can always stop supporting the game, and shutdown the servers (you wont be able get a refund cause you accepted the terms of service at the start of the game). So you wasted your money on it, and wont be able to play it ever again. In Roblox you can still join the experience, except when the developer closes the game entirely which mostly isn't the case cause they can potentially still earn money from it. And if Developers "Manipulate" people to spend money on their game, then so do Publishers with Trailers for their Video game, which sprout hype which leads people to buy their game. I watched the video till the end, and its funny how even you dont understand what you were saying in the end and stopped writing your subtitles. This aint a hate comment if anyone would think so.
Last roblox anime game I played was boku no roblox, it was easy to get to lvl 1000 in a short amount of time since it was lockdown and once that happened I got the easter gear and explosion making me end up with $21 mil (5k per quirk change) I stopped once the UI took a big change making everything including the Map ugly It was 1000 not 100

Anime adventures really isn’t p2w if you actually get into it you can play for just 4 hours and make a lot of progress and there’s infinity castle too if you really need the gems and traits are op but the battle pass can get you free and some quest give you it too but back then you was really p2w honestly many people were about to quit til it started to pull good updates it really does deserve the players because of the hard work they put into it
I don't like how greedy aopg is but i do like playing it because its really detailed like the fruits look so good and no i havent bought anything in it even though i like it and i am pretty strong in it so i wouldn't consider it p2w because u can get all items for free by grinding (not saying its good that they made everything so expensive)
the anime adventure trait reroll system is so horrendous i just quit the game entirely, im not tryna spend upwards of 7 hours waiting for 5 star remnant to appear randomly in bulma's shop just to reroll superior 1 on my unit who already had superior 2. im not sure about y'all but the only reason the game isn't fun to me is because of trait rerolls, i like rolling for mythics because it gets you mad hype when you finally get what you want(i REALLY don't like how they hid the chances of getting dio over heaven, it's very scummy and illegal im pretty sure) i wish they would buff older units to make them relatively on par with the newer units as well. i spent MANY MANY hours grinding for yamamoto in the bleach event just for me to look at the meta tier list 5 months later to find out he got completely wiped off the map.
Ngl I'm a f2p Anime adventures player and the That feeling that u want to p2w starts when ur at the end of the story when u try to evolve ur units and see people who help u have a unique/other mythic traits which makes u want to p2w to get them Also a W the devs did in this update was making a 50k Robux bundle in total On sale for only 5k still p2w asf but massive safe for the p2w players out there
I hate the spin for abilities system,why cant Roblox developers just do something new and make us grind for said stuff,i also dislike anime simulator games where u have ur units following you and beating up NPCs and i really dont understand the fun of that at all its not a engaging "combat" at all
