I’d love to see what your running programme looks like too. Also what you’d do if you only had limited weights and needed to do more body weight/high rep work?
Thank you for doing these videos and continuing to educate on this series. What do you think about swimming vs running for body recomp? Stomach fat to be precise.
So stomach fat vs rest of body fat should be treated the same as can’t spot reduce fat unfortunately. I would say whichever sport you enjoy and are more proficient at would be best for you. For best fat burning results you want to spend as much time as possible in HR zone 2 - so an exercise you can do for a long period of time at relative low intensity. For me that’d be running as I suck at swimming. For you that might be different but best of luck 👍🏼
If you’re in the US and like me you could barely keep up with what he was saying, try watching this on .75 speed! Works wonders. Superb looking guy though, and with helpful tips.
I want to be lean with slight muscle When to stop progressive overload so that i wont look bulky .. only lean muscle at right places .. any suggestions you could give me bro...
To get the morning run I'll have to wake at 5 30 am cutting down sleep to 7 hrs but it's insanely tough for me to wake up and not feel groggy. Any tips on how you manage morning runs with energy.( I don't take coffee)
Unfortunately there’s no way around the sleep issue other than going to bed earlier. Also downing a glass of water with electrolytes helps me to get rid of the grogginess (although I immediately have a cup of coffee afterwards).
I mean an obvious change would be to go to bed sooner the night before. I reckon you should try for a few weeks, but if you still feel groggy and unmotivated then you should find a routine that works for you.
Not sure if you've covered it in your previous videos but what is your height/weight? I feel like we're similar in stature, I'm 6'4 and 195lbs. Trying to get a solid plan together to approach my nutrition to cut down for summer. Currently I've tracked loosely around 2500-2700 calories, while doing around 25-30 miles per week running, and 4 workouts per week on M, T, Th, and Friday. I noticed you had a pretty high fat content diet and I may give that a try to be honest. I am finding myself hungry a LOT of the time and man it sucks when you're trying to get around 10% or below bodyfat haha.
Hey man, I’m 6’1 and about 180lbs. In general I find fatty foods keep me fuller but if trying to cut they’re quite nutritionally dense so you end up having to eat less. All I could suggest are maybe some high fibre plant based foods (vegetable/fruit/wholegrains/beans/pulses) - you can eat a lot of volume for very few calories and they keep me really full 😂👍🏼
