Plus, dragon punch was never an official name, people translated shoryuken as rising dragon fist so we call it dragon punch for convenience sake. p.s. Ryu shouts shoryuken when using the move, IDK why you think dragon punch was first

10:04 you can actually see the launch angle! I guess when a player is stunned or so, there’s this very faint blue streak or line that points towards their projected launch angle!! If you look carefully in other clips, you can see the launch line in some KO screens.

It's actually one of the easier setups. I've done it a few times at my local. Just gotta make sure you don't do it too often, else they'll learn to see it coming. 9:54 was galaxy brained though. Holy shit Tea what was that?

10:13 Im pretty sure the direction of the "blue mark" across the character shows which way the knockback is going to send them. On Robin here you can see its angled up and left. So Pac-Man knows to up-smash to catch the Robin player mid flight.

Trivia Time! That Shoryuken thing doesn't work against Witch Time because moves don't count as "hit" when they trigger the slowdown. Other moves make this interaction clear too, like Homing Attack not bouncing on her.

Free fall state changes your character colors gray white and black so that wasn't free fall it was more like Robin was frozen, also Robin after thoron normally has a lot of cooldown so wouldn't even be enough time to up-b and no blades of winds either and also how long did the Robin hold thoron cuz if you hold the b button it goes farthe. There are so many factors here but Robin never used El wind at all

Okay maybe i am late with this but right before an enemy launches off there is a very small but noticable blue line that faces the direction you will fly in. This is very visible for pacman's stun bell, that's how he knew where to attack! 9:52

the Pac-Man knew because you can see the knockback angle in the stun-animation, it's the blue arrow and it can also indicate opponent DI, it's probably that he just reacted to it, but then again... Pac-Man players

If the bell hits you, you get launched the opposite direction of where the bell touched you. At 9:54 since PAC-MAN hit Robin into the bell, the bell touched Robin's right side, thus launching him to the left. I hope this explained well enough.

I’ve done a similar thing with Ken a few times. Someone tries to land with counter, I go for up air to shoryu. Up air triggers counter, then shoryu counters the counter. Dunno if it’s guaranteed to work. But it happened a few times in my favor.

10:18 Do yoy see the blue line when pac hits the n-B? this is a trajectory line, it shows you where you will launched, it evenchanges when you start diing. If you wanna make a test, use any character with a stun, like pacs neutral B or zss down smash, bc you will see it longer in stun. And yes, the blue line exists since release xD

10:03 I think the game shows the direction in which a player is going to be launched when hit with a blue spark. When the hit forces a player to stay stunned for a while before launching him (ZSS's blaster, Corrin's Neutral-B, Pac-Man's bell, etc.), the spark is clearly visible and can be used to plan follow-ups.

I've been noticing it for a while and haven't known what it meant, but I know now that you can tell which direction an enemy will be launched off a hit based off of the angle of the blue line. This can be used for slight delay combos, like the Pacman did, and I've learned that it can be used in quick combos if you land reverse hitboxes and need to compensate.

1:40 this is actually a kinda well known yoshi tech for yoshi doubles. Basically, if you egg lay someone when before they take the full knockback of the move, that knockback will be transfered into how fast you fall fot an egg lay. He got hit by bowswr jr neutral b but before he took the knockback he got egg layed, so he went plummiting down

at 9:54 when he gets the stun a blue arrow points out which way (if the opponent DI) he'll be launched. As a pac main it's usefull to style on them with bell into side B ;) edit: the blue arrow is present for every move once you see it you cannot unsee it

2:11 that‘s a greninja specific tech that allows you to parry everthing consecutively. If i remember correctly it has something to do with buffering shadow sneak out of shield, hence why you see him shadow sneaking before and afterwards.
