Truth. We need reforms in education system. I think the old Gurukul system was better, as it kept the kids close to nature. All kids had duties. All kids learned in nature, not sitting in walls for whole day on one bench
@@notrhythm instead of breadth based education, we need more dpth based and less than 12 years of school. it has to be flexible. different skills for different inclinations. all kids don't need to learn organic chemistry and all history.
@@chopgaut007 yeah, I agree. The education system should be tailored to the needs of the kids; the kids shouldn't be molded to fit into it. below are just my ideas about education so far, if you're interested: I think both breadth-based, and depth-based education is important. so maybe, you could study one subject you like very deeply(invest most your time into it) but at the same time you also learn some important things about other topics. like history, politics, finances, law, human behavior and how the system works so you are a more informed citizen and have a better view of the world, someone who wouldn't be fooled easily. you'd also have better opinions, better ideas about things. you'd be a more rational person. you'd know how ideas from different disciplines connect. so it's not like you're isolated from the rest of the world because you are good at one thing. and you don't fail to see something important that's not clear from your point of view. also, i think we should follow the more practical, less theory approach. theory should follow practical, not the other way round. kids should know how to make use of what they know, and not just have "kitaabi gyaan" and get made fun of for being educated, as if it was their own fault. if all you can do with your education is get a job, then idk. maybe that's what it was all along. also one important aspect, that is overlooked is the self. we learn about the outside world all the time, but we learn absolutely nothing about ourselves. it's unfortunate that we forget who we are, and miss what's within us. knowing ourselves, understanding how we behave and why we behave that way, how we think and why we think that way; what inspires us, what we care about and what we don't care about and so many other things. figuring which out is key to a life that is interesting to live. and then the ideas like improvement, dedication and determination will naturally follow. we gotta figure out what we want first, so that we can fight for it. why would i fight passionately for something i don't care about? although to practically implement these ideas would require much more brainstorming, and effort.
Wonderful! We are indeed a highly structured race. What appears natural to us is in fact artificially naturalised in us. There's a way of looking at things called (post-)structuralism, which is quite similar to what this genius is talking about. Salute to your efforts, Sir!

I totally feel strange when I see iit alumni prepare for cat and get in iim for mba immediately after btech if this the case what's the need of btech, one can come from simple background and go for mba but still, as if it is a style statement
sir, I am your new subscriber, the last line you said is that we never lived in the present moment says it all How badly the human society and and we never questioned and believed everything whatever is being conveyed to us. You have Very well explained and touched and in which direction we have evolved over the past 2 decades. your videos showing us to do the self retrospection and what are our takeaways
In my whole school life I do not compare my self to others I do not feel guilty Because of my low marks I am always happy with my marks but the teachers and parents will always taught me that if you get good marks you will good and if you do not get good marks your life is trash and you are burden on this world but as always I don't give a shit to their thinking I know my capability very well and also I don't give a shit to private or govt. jobs. JOB makes you slave and destroy you life totally. Make money through your passion if you want live a rich and luxury life .
I also think like u😂😂😂but society doesn't accept such views. Fortunately I got inherited money plus I earn good money every month. I am living life on my terms. But people have become mad about life, rat race and money🤦🤦🤦🤦I am giving REAL GYAN to my kids😅😅and I dont care about their school results

@@Sibahem3 true. The political parties think that if people become really educated, than they will start to question on real issues and politicians don't want these types of discussion.
@@KrishnarajRaoUrbanNaxal Sir, you are much more experienced than me and your wisdom surpasses mine. I found a school (for my kids) that tries to address this problem, but I'm not sure if this a good step. Hence confused.
Rao sir, there is a difference between tamed horse and wild horse. I like your content, but tell us the solution how tamed horse can be a successful citizen for our country India and this our world. Your point is very vital but please tell us a solution. Thank you roa sir.
I like your analogy, and overall, I agree with your logic. Specifically, I agree with you that there's a trade-off between being a "tamed horse" and being your natural self i.e. "wild horse". A wild horse would never get fodder and shelter in our society. The main point of my conversation is to make you remember your raw, natural, untamed state. If there is something of value that you have lost in the process of being tamed by school, college and society, you need to consider whether it is worth rediscovering that wild side of you, and how to do so. There is no magic-bullet solution for everyone's problem of his/her lost wildness. If THEY don't feel it is a problem, then it is not even a problem.
However, as a solution, my personal belief is that children and young people should be allowed to be more "wild" in their own way, rather than academically "tamed" and subjugated.
@@KrishnarajRaoUrbanNaxal true true.... I abide with your thoughts as of many as do I too comply with your insight on to the subject... I personally think and feel Rao sir, that as being an ingroup of society we should have a middle grounds of being tamed as well as exploring the wild without harming the structured protocols of established societal norms and standards.
@@KrishnarajRaoUrbanNaxal Rao sir, iam afraid the society would become crazy and the basic instinct of greed and self gratification would be supreme instead of altruism.
What should be our thoughts ? instead of bhaago bhaago / constant comparison. Because money is also necessary.. buying house is important.. Pls through some light
Broadly, I like Acharya Prashant. I like how he teaches you to question. BUT he has a deep hatred for sexual activities and pleasure-seeking instincts of the human mind. I disagree with this part of his approach.
@@KrishnarajRaoUrbanNaxalya i like him too , due to his old age , his almost died sexual energy , plus he seeks pleasure in that peace of mind , that is in the ultimate stage of tranquility , i mean difficult for other people to achieve , it will took a lot of time doing meditation to achieve that , it starts to happen from the second stage of meditation, i th8nk thats the reason he talks about the pleasure in achieving peace of mind . Btw i agree with u , humans have been very well designed by the nature and there is nothing wrong in seeking sexual pleasure , it is a natural instinct ❤❤!!!!!!!!!!
