We install and setup the wifi Tuya or Smart Life mini relay switch and the energy monitor with 2 CT clamps. These don't need a hub which makes it easier. These are very affordable smart home automation devices if you are tech savvy.
The energy monitor doesn't integrate with SmartThings or Google Home but the switch relay does.
