Well done! I pull a 20 ft box trailer behind my truck camper. Easier to find the ideal placement for my Turbo S. I just adjust as I add or remove spare parts and tools. With any bumper pull tongue weight is critical. Having a scale in the hitch just adds peace of mind. Good tip!
Great video but it depends on your trailer as well. Certain manufacturers put the axles more towards the rear for example I’ve towed my Stryker 2916 (37’) Rzr forward and backwards and it towed the same. Weight distribution hitch plus sway as well as truck squat will affect that as well. Great video for people who don’t understand why their rig is swaying
@@jamesbuchko7837 water loaded or not either way the weight shifts forward after your trip. We always leave with water and never notice a difference. We go to the beach full of water and no rzr and it pulls perfect. We put our chairs stacked between fridge and counter and pull the rzr in all the way so we have room for sons 50cc four wheeler, 50cc dirt bike and dog kennel. Congrats on the 2916, you’ll love the amount of space.

Should load everything up that you take with you and hit a cat scale. Then you well know what your setup weighs. You can see if you might be over capacity and how your weight is distributed.
Get a Hensley hitch or ProPride hitch and never worry about sway again. You can load your UTV in your trailer any which way you want and have absolutely zero sway. I have a Stryker 3212 with a 12'6" garage. At the front of the garage there is a sliding glass door that separates the garage from the living space so pulling up close to the front or middle iant an option for me. I have a 4 door Oreion Reeper UTV. When i pull it in forward all the weight of the engine ia at the rear of the trailer. This obviously caused a sway condition for me. Tried backing it in which gets the weight of thw engine closer to above the axles and this helped tremendously however on windy days i did still experience some sway. Plus being that the UTV is a 5 speed manual i have to work the clutch enough to back up the ramp yet atop in time before crashing thru the glass door. You can see where this can be a problem as well as a hassle to deal with everytime thus making me not want to bring the UTV. I was aware of the Hensley hitch and how it performed but at $3000 it was cost prohibitive. After loading the UTV a number od times and getting tired of the hassle i decided if the Hensley worked as claimed and i could load the UTV in forward life would be much easier but there was still that $3000 pricetag. I found a used one on marketplace for a fraction of the cost and bought it immediately. Hands down the best purchase i ever made. The hitch is amazing and i can now load the utv in forward and not have to worry about sway. The propride works the same and is a better, updated design of the hensley. If i were to buy a new one i would definitely go with the propride based on the upgrades that have been made to the original design of the hensley.
