Good reminder for me, thanks I was an early adopter on Vero but left as it was just too boring and slow, I may take another look PS, I'm in Wales, if you're down this way I'll show you somewhere you'd love

I feel that you can have a simplified photo (like the tree at 3:35) but it has to either be in interesting light, or be interesting itself. Mads Peter Iverson for example has some rather minimalistic photos in his gallery but they're simple, but interesting at the same time ,either subject itself (a tree for example) is just interesting, or the light on an otherwise normal subject is interesting, so it can work, but there has to be some sort of interest. If it's just a picture of a tree in an open field on an overcast day (unless you're doing a black and white perhaps) yeah it may b too simple and possibly too boring to really attract the viewer's eye.

Hi Joshua, your videos are amazing and helping me a lot with my 200d ii. Can you make a video for the focus points and when to use which, also I notice that while I take picture looking into the view finder, I am not getting a sharp image. What should I do to improve? Thank you.

By the side of your viewfinder, there should be a small dial that you can turn. If you look through your viewfinder while you turn it, it should come into focus

which is key? over simplification vs. intent. if BW was used to enhance the primary focus is that truly over simplification if that was my intention versus using the color version to capture the wondrous colors which at times can overpower the key focal points of interest ie. the colors take over the composition. I agree with your premise of the importance of simplicity but have a small disagreement with using BW as your example in this case. I continue to love and enjoy your videos and your vision, thanks again for sharing
