Such programs which are only related to beauty spots of songs are rare, Superb presentation.

मन डोले मेरा तन डोले That is literally how I find myself, listening to the podcasts! And the thought put into this episode, one doesn't simply agree, but one finds oneself thinking of so many more songs where the singer(s) have brought in their special something. I will give just one example. Just think of the opening bars of one of the greatest fun songs, मैं सितारों का तराना,from चलती का नाम गाडी. And the delight is instantaneous!

Great songs. Can still relate to them from our Antakshri days. Some quite old but recall they were sung by people for humor and fun

I feel you have gone to the depth of singing techniques of the singers described herein.Starting with Hemant Da, Chhupa Lo,(Antara's Bengal version of the same also) to Kishore Da 's, Through our great friend Uttam Padukone,Dooooooooooor kahiiiiiiiiiin le jaaye"was directly touching my heart. Asha's versatility in singing was appreciated by Burnan Da (I have a Clip)She can laugh in Bhawra Bada naadan like a childish giggling, to Sad and emotional song "Meri Baat Rahi Mere Mann mein"same movie Saheb Biwi Aur Ghulam,by the same MD Hemant Kumar. Lyrics play a great role in making the Song great, but singers emotions are equally important to bring them in their singing,like you gave the best example of Kala Pani song, Achha Ji main Haari....Asha's Laugh for Madhubala and Rafi Saab's anger are really worth seeing how good are enacted by the performers.This is a total package of the team,who made the era as Golden Era. Your dissection of each song discussed is marvellous and pure entertainment. Thank you 🙏

Sadly you couldn't play more of that song, otherwise uff that trumpet planned by Salil Chowdhury. Super😊 Nice to learn too that you Monica went for an audition, and failed?
