Was definitely hoping for more of a "How It's Made" style in depth. I could have guessed all this myself.

I feel like there's something they don't want us to know because we don't actually show us how they are made.

I would not be able to work at this plant. My friends have nicknamed "skittles". As i am never seen without a large bag of Skittles at all times. These bite-sized pieces of a rainbow are my everyday treat. If i cant have Skittles it won't be a good day.

So they were first made in England, but America has like 100 different flavours of skittles and the Uk only have around 4 different packets, and the Tropical and Wild Berry is hard to find in stores so.

Copied from the pastry chef attempts to make gourmet skittles: jamnjam 9 months ago I worked for 10 years at Mars. 5 years in Starburst and 5 years in Skittles. Making Skittles is a very long and complicated process. One area makes the centers, the next area is called Coating. It takes around 8 hours to put the shell on. It's like a snowball effect...sprayers spray layer after layer of different forms of liquid sugar at timed intervals. The last hour and a half is putting the color shell part on and then making them shiny. Then it's off to printing for the 'S' and then packaging. They do use real fruit 'juice' but it's super concentrated. (I do miss the smell of the orange and lemon juice). Bless her heart trying to make Skittles by hand!

All I saw was skittles moving around on the conveyor. It was mesmerising. I imagined myself swimming in a pool of skittles and that thought made me want to eat skittles almost immediately. I guess that was the purpose of this video.
