It all comes down to practice. I have been flying 6 packs everytime I go out for a year now, everytime weather and my schedule allows it. I am almost as good as him now at freestyle, the backwards movements really still need work tho. I recommend getting the DRL Simulator. Set your rates to be the same as on your quad in game and then you can try out and practice all the moves you are uncomfortable with without the fear of breaking anything.

@@will7657 Try Velocidrone instead. I've spent time in all of them , and find Velocidrone to be the most realistic of them all. Probably about 95% similar to real life. Very true to life physics.

I love your flystyle. It is like JohnnyFPV's smoothness and Steeles violent, unpredictable maneuvers put together. Its also crazy how tiny of a gap you can hit while doing a yaw-spin or other stuff. Keep it up man! Sorry for my bad english and greedings from Germany!

I find myself doing the same thing everytime I watch one his and cricket's videos. It really comes down to having a lot of experience to understand intuitively what happens when you do what with the sticks.

See i'm kinda a beginner flyer and first solid drone that has survived, umm, "me," is a Rooster RTF stock PID's which are low also. I changed them to a youtuber who flies a rooster also "Ova Flo" do to alot of video noise with footage and holy cow, I feel like im a complete noob all over. Impressive flying 6s with GoPro and low rates man. Any tips I can do for the noise im getting with Footage?

Noise through fpv footage? It’s definitely the tune. I would revert back to your old tune/stock tune and then tune it yourself from there. Vibration on the sma connector can also cause noise. Check out drone mesh’s vid on noise it covers everything.

I found that gyro filters helped my vid, check out an old blackbox log to see what your filters were then try to match them

@@gautamkrishna7421 Noise in footage does not come from PID tuning. The noise comes from the ESCs and if using a 4-in-1 ESC, you need one on the power cable. If using separate ESCs, you need 1 cap on each ESC.

At 2:36, you perched on a light. Can you explain your switches? What's going on there? I only do freestyle, but learning that flying through gates and such helps train the mind with timing, spacial reference, throttle control. After watching this, I think I need to lower my rates a bit more to get smoother rolls.

The stick cam isn't needed just listen to the kwad you can hear every stick move that is made. Is flying even fun for u still?? You mastered kwads and built a name for yourself at such a young age. The quads automatically disarm when they land/hit something. So he had to re-arm to continue.

@@Vousie These quads definitely do not automatically disarm. He disarmed it, then had to rearm it. He had to disarm it because the props don't stop spinning until you disarm.

So what are these rates? I fly whatever the stock rates my quad has. Seems quite a bit faster than this. (nasgul5 v2 6s) I like the rates, but as a newb my twitches show up in the not so buttery smooth flying lol. Might try and smooth the center stick out a little.

Don't take pids from someone else unless they have an identical quad, you have to tune them. Rates you can take.

I fly rc rate at 1.30 on all axis and .75 on super rate with roll and pitch at .30 expo and .10 expo on yaw (1010). I’m guessing here but you look like about 600 rates!? How close am I?
