How Smart Watering Works 

Didn't say anything about how the actual devices are setup, and it is sadly limited in the actual instructions.

The controllers use the weather predictions to water, weather prediction is at best 50% accurate

This is cool technology, and it's exciting to see this science implemented this way. However, the smartest way to conserve water and create a healthy landscape is not by using a smart watering system...it's to grow plants native to your environment that don't require irrigation, and support native wildlife.
