Since I been RPed what I have noticed is that I DO NOT have any real male friends with daughters who are 16 or older... All of them want me to meet said daughters, invite me to their homes when daughters are around and all of these girls and women have no connection with reality, don't do house chores and can spend their dad's monthly pay in less than a day on stupid useless stuff... So all these older dudes are desperate for someone to rescue them from these monsters to the point of risking their friendships with younger men... 2 of my colleagues are fathers to 35y old women with no men, no kids and still living with mom and dad... One of said fathers is currently breaking his back to fix his villa at 62y old, while still working a full time job, so he can move there and leave his city apartment to his daughter who btw earns like $800 a month...

I dated a really great girl for about three years. Good looking, low drama, literally checked every box. Would have married her, but she had a kid. I knew on day one that I wasn't going to be a stepdad. If you are a stepdad, respect, but it wasn't for me. I did not want to spend my time raising another man's child. I did not want to spend my money raising another man's child. I did not want to do both those things, only to have that child turn into a teenager telling me "you're not my dad!". Forget it. Now, I was honest with my gf about this from day one. I told her that when the time came that she needed to find someone else, just tell me and we'll part as friends. Amazingly, we did - and I still respect her, care about her, and am glad that she's married and happy. Only way I would ever recommend a guy consider taking on the responsibility of a stepchild is if you have one or more kids yourself and your gf is willing to help out and be a full time stepmom to your kids. That's a different situation. Also, you need to keep in mind that there's always going to be some other guy (a guy who used to bang your wife btw) in your life.

Some advice, if you meet a woman that doesn’t respect parental authority, she will never respect a man (husband) so keep it moving. The daddy issue is a major red flag, practically, biblically, whatever.

If you go back in history before the wars and men served and died, many men married single mothers(widows). The difference is then women respected men more and children had more respect for parents and step-parents. In the modern era marriage and step-parenting is horrific.

I was very lucky to find the RP when I did. RIght before that, I was my mid-30s, going nowhere with finding the right kind of woman, thinking she has to be some hot 304 that I have to obsess over and be in love with off rip.
