I like Morrissey .. but Johnny made up a huge part of the smiths . I was just scrolling a few minutes ago on RU-vid and found this . I’ve listened to this for the 4 th time now . This song is tight . Johnny is a genius . Great energy

Such an unsung, amazing guitar hero outside of his fans. An absolutely true genius musician. His guitar layering and production skills are brilliant. But I'd have to say what impresses me most here is his vocals. They've gotten SO MUCH better. Really impressive. I used to kind of cringe when he'd sing (and I LOVE Johnny Marr). But his vocals are genuinely great here. But no one will ever be able to top Morrissey's vocals. As it should be. Still so sad about the loss of Andy Rourke. Another exceptional musician whose contribution could never be exaggerated.

Holly mother of flippin' hell! That rendition gave me a panick attack it was so good! The bass line, that bleedin' bass line. All the instruments merging together, coming from all angles with real partitions of their own and melting into an explosive four minutes and 55 seconds climax! I've listened to this song for 40 years and loved it but this is something else entierly. Shocking!

Been look for this song for awhile. I heard a part of it as bumper music on a radio talk show and it really made an impression. This song takes me back to a dim-distant memory of my high school days, late at night, lit up by car headlights and tail lights in a place lost to memory. I was not all there, wasted on what ever weed was available and needing to find my way home. I graduated from High School in the mid 1980’s. Another time and another day a long long time ago. Thank you for posting this and ending yet another musical mystery.
