Ah, Splatoon 2! The game where Brellas were a functional weapon class and the worst thing about the maps was the occasional mildly annoying stage gimmick!

Splatoon 2 brings back so many memories for me- I remember my excitement when I first got the game and I was OBSESSED with Salmon Run.

When I went back to splatoon 2 for like an hour it’s… surprising how I spent 2k hours in it

I love Splatoon 2. That was my first Splatoon game and I LOVED it ever since I was young. Now looking back to Splatoon 2 and playing it again, I think I’m falling in love with it again. help 😭😭😭

I know most people highly dislike the story mode for Splatoon 2, but I really enjoyed it. The first story mode trailer for Splatoon 2 got me hyped for the game when it was first coming out! Also the battle music in Splatoon 2 is just amazing. (Chirpy Chips, Wet Floor, and Ink Theory my beloveds!!!!)

[2:21] This bought me BACK.i think like 35% of my total play time on this game was just waiting. and throughout the entire life of splat 2 they never added the feature to change pitch in ranked (at least not to my knowledge) Also does anyone else miss shifty stations? Yeah me too

It's hard to describe it, but the aesthetic in S2 is so much more "splatoon" than in S3.

Its so crazy on how things change. Back in Splat2 i remember always spamming ink armor bc i was an splat jr main, now i only spam the bubbler or whatever its called (big bubble, big bubbler?? i dont remember) I miss a lot of maps tho like Camp Triggerfish (from borh S1 and S2), Arowana Mall (also from S1 and S2), and so much more. Nintendo: PLEASE bring back shifty stations, or at least something similar 😭😭

I like Splatoon 2 as well. As been at it since 2016, it was a great time, Splatoon 2 increased my Aggressiveness and Results, Kills increased and I played somewhat better than some friends, The only hate I had was teammates, I do turf more because I win the most from it, But I’m staying in Splatoon for a long time, except Splatoon 1, I’m retiring from that

I don't really have any burning desire to go to Splatoon 2 even if I may have nostalgia for the first two games. I didn't put much effort into 2 like I did with 1 but 3 feels more polished and fun and well balanced and it even has a brighter future since sizzle season and the devs are without a doubt making the game much better at a gradual rate

What do you mean Kensa Sloshing Machine isn't stupid slow, doesn't eat up all my ink in 3 shots, and I don't need to run pure main ink saver My last game in splatoon 2 I got 21 kills on Tower Control and we won💀 I miss you Kensa Machine( and octotling armor)

Ok, mpu wasn’t too bad. And lets be real ink armor is only as effective as your teamates are, it can’t make a bad team bearable, it can only make a good team a NIGHTMARE. There is only 1 splatoon 2 singleplayer there should be. And I’m sry but what was even the point of league, anarchy with friends is basically league now with your power being calculated and it’s even BETTER cus you can now gain ranked points from it. If ur upset that it isn’t a whole other bubble that’s pink idk what to tell u man. 4:40 BUT I WILL GLADLY TAKE YOU SINGING SO INCREDIBLY TRAGIC LMAOOO Idc for the meta in splatoon 2 but at least it didn’t have a Literal PEN and WASHING MACHINE be the “best weapons” Ah yes, I do remember the times where the quota wouldn’t go above 20, That lesser salmonids lived up to their name And I could tank 20 chums and not perish horribly. And if course the times when the best salmon run map “*The Ruins of Ark Polairis*” was available, good times. Tho I do like the screaming eel, 24/7 work shifts (for minimum wage), and of course THE *[BIG SHOT]* Ok but watch Drizzle season 23 be the best update ever and give everyone what they wanted lmao. (Including gold dynano) in all seriousness, splatoon 3 still needs and has the time to grow, I’ve been told that splatoon 2 didn’t feel so great at launch either. Let splatoon 3 cook for a while and it can get out all of the great stuff in has in store! Splatoon 2 did a lot of great things to push the series forward while having some issues here and there, so did splatoon 3! But It’s best that we don’t forget about these games, at the very least, they sure did something right.

Splatoon 3 is quantity over quality Splatoon 2 might’ve had an annoying lack of quality of life features but people stuck with it cuz the base game was fun
