I asked my live stream chat on twitch to give me weapon suggestions in Splatoon 3, and if I used their pick and lost a game of online anarchy battles, I'd BAN that user from the chat FOREVER. (forever in this case meaning 24 hours lol)

depends what rank/mode there's something called a 'power level' associated with every weapon. and it tries to make this level/number equal in both teams. in some modes, such as X-rank, it does seem to be stricter than in turf war. idk how it exactly works, but yeah, it's somewhat close and accurate.
