Since Malaysia ringgit stronger now, it's time BNM build foreign currency reserves or increase gold reserves. Poland has high gold reserves. It's important very important when economy turn south.

You might be right about data-center itself not creating many high skill jobs. I really hope it does though!!! They probably just need a team of 100+ engineers (depending on size) to maintain these servers and keep it running - they really don't need that many to maintain them. I am really hoping that by opening these data-center the big companies will also consider employing local software engineers and start developing product development teams in Malaysia like you have suggested. I really hope it is not the case where all these product development jobs end up being in Singapore and Malaysia just do the dirty work of maintaining these lifeless server farms :/ I believe the job openings they are talking about might be the opportunities from constructing the infrastructure required for these data-centers which is pretty much just temporary opportunities... I am a software engineer working in the UK and from all the companies that I have worked for so far, there are always opportunity in Singapore but not Malaysia T.T I really hope to come back one day but for now, I can only wait patiently.

Yes, an issue is implementation. Then it would be interesting to invite guests who are the authorities in charge of implementation
