He’s likely way faster than baseline FTL but I just haven’t looked far enough into the speed department. But Ainz is multiple times stronger and faster than Gazef who has light speed attacks
@@chidorim4st3r5 yeah no. a fucking gun is considered a great threat to new worlders such as the one used by red drop when in his mech suit. the author also makes a big deal about shelltear igniting the air as she moves as its beyond what you would see in the new world. this would put ainz as hypersonic via scaling which is fast but not anywhere close to lightning speed let alone light speed. hell your whole ranking of him is off by a giant amount given the best feat of strength hes ever shown topped out at a city district being destroyed. as such hes a city buster at best on his own while being a threat to a very weak country with his summons. overlord as a series is not very powerful, this is due to two factors; 1. its not a novel about fighting, it has combat but its more used as a plot device than part of the main story with is more about how the world itself interacts with ainz and co. 2. the new world is laughably weak. in terms of isekais the new world is well below even comedy worlds like konosuba in terms of the strength of its inhabitants which makes ainz look way stronger than he should be.
@@MrEcoho not close to lightning speed when shalltear is literally stated to block an attack thats as fast as a bolt of lightning ultra casually with two fingers when it was directly in front of her and gazef being stated to have a light speed attack? Also the lore gets him to those higher levels as he’s fought things which are threats to destroy the planet or have destroyed countless worlds with the raid boss that I put a source for in the video. There’s also the black hole creation. And those ‘guns’ are from a mech that fire magical rounds and such. You can’t just say they’re only as fast as a normal bullet when it’s from a magical mech
Don't forget while Ainz is an role-playing build... He is an master pvp if you fight him blind it's basically GG. You can only fight him if you have time counters if don't welp.
But if he's also fighting blind he'll be at a disadvantage against most players. No matter how many times he fought against Touch Me and how much he prepared he was never able to win against him. Also if any aspect of his fight against Shalltear went differently he would've lost.
@@saljpal3 Ainz's absolute worst matchups are the Blind Matches. Ainz had his good PVP record because PVP was normaly best of 3 matches. He would concede the first match after gaining information and win the other matches

Considering that the Dragon Emperor distorted space time w wild magic and summoned the players from another dimension. The theory is that the DE wanted wci which would place wci effects on universal scale. Also according to the game Lore the World Eater final boss of the game was capable of eating reality itself. The Lore of the game became real which was seen on numerous instances so I would argue he is more on the universal scale w very small aoe . Ainz doesn't need to create a black hole to devour earth .All he needs is to take a rock and accelerate it at terminal velocity and boom, earth is destroyed. Yeah, the tree was planetary since it could destroy earth .
Maybe when I get further into the novels I’ll come across that stuff. The only higher tier thing I really know is the one thing from volume 3 that I put where the world eater ate countless leaves on the world tree. Each leaf being a WCI
@@chidorim4st3r5 Yeah, the DE stuff happens in volume 13/5 and I highly recommend reading from the begining maybe skip the middle of the volume and read the last 100 pages or so, the middle is irrelevant but fun so it's your choice

He is FAR from the weakest, he is stated to ONLY be outmatched by TouchMEe in 1v1 PvP, because of his insane tactical prowess and amazing planing skills. Rubedo sadly is SO insanly strong that no amount of planning from Ainz lets him have a chance. We have been told how Rubedo is by all means more powerful than a PERFECT Lvl 100 character, and it is speculated she is made with a special world item which Ainz Ool Gown has, allowing her to reach a level only bosses from Yggdrasil could reach, that or the Perfect Lvl 100 TouchMe WITH a lot of luck.
Spoiler from the movie that is coming Demiurge can use a 10th tier meteor spell and he uses it to destroy the great wall of the Holy Kingdom. I don't remember exactly but I think it's said or implied that he can spam that spell if he wants to. So considering even one of the weaker top guys can level a city alone, Ainz probably can level a continent with a few spells.
This is true, but the best part is that his build isn't even meant for casting high damage Evocation-like spells. His build revolves around "instant-death" spells and creating powerful hordes of undead that can trample over nations like they were wet toilet paper.
Well, one of the thing people can't notice is Ainz's attacks are mostly very focus, low AoE. So... good luck making right calc. But for certain, they are devastating.

and they say Reinhard van Astrea can beat Ainz. If the statement "he can by pass anything" then even if Reinhard resurrects he can just recast a spell to kill him.
@@saljpal3 light novel paints a pretty clear picture. Shaltear is the best duelist of the floor guardians, able to beat any of the others in single combat. Second is Mare, who has incredibly powerful magic but isn't a duelist. Then the three way tie between Albedo, Cocytus, and Sebas, each countering each other. The reason Shaltear isn't the strongest npc overall is because of Rubedo. A character hinted at to have been created with a world item and also uses another world item as a weapon. They would sweep the floor guardians easy, as they are literally designed to be Nazarick's ultimate defense on the 8th floor.
@@cookieelement3467 The three way deadlock between Sebas, Albedo, and Cocytus is when Sebas is in his human form. If he goes into his dragonoid form he's strong enough to take on Shalltear. Also in terms of raw power Gargantua is the strongest floor guardian.
@@saljpal3 That is not true. Sebas in human form is weaker than Albedo and Cocytus. His dragonoid form is what is strong enough to beat Cocytus but it still loses to Albedo. It has never been stated his dragonoid form even stands a chance against Shaltear. And yeah Gargantua is a wall of the highest stats, but with no items to equip, skills, or anything really, he is not in the running for strongest even with his stats.
she's the strongest guardian, because of his pvp role type stats level 100, she was designed in cases of guild seiges in nazarick, aside from supreme leaders, he was designed to take out the strongest member of the attacker and forced pvp to buy some time.
A fact I also want to add is that the “Ring Wish Upon A Star” cannot just undo the effects of a World Item but also Wild Magic. Suzuki Satoru/Ainz in the Evileye Bonus Novel tried to undo the magic that turned Keno/Evileye’s whole country into undead but was unable to. This shocked Ainz because he knew there was only one force he knew was capable of resisting a Super Tier Spell from the “Ring Wish Upon A Star”. However he wasn’t sure if he could conclude that what he felt was really a World Item resisting the Ring’s power to grant his wish. Years later he discovered the power of the Dragon Lords’ when he fought Brightness Dragon Lord, Wild Magic. He then surmised the power that turn Evileye’s county into undead was the result of Wild Magic when he found the one responsible for the spell, The Elder Coffin Dragon Lord.
The whole point of his build was absolute flexibility in his arsenal. He specializes in necromancy, clearly, but he has shown massive scale attack, highly focus attack magic, defensive magic, trapping/sealing magic, scrying magic, honestly his spell repertoire is ridiculous. He's cast a spell that's literally called 'Reality Slash'. And it seems to do exactly what the name implies.
Powerscaling can be hard so a Second-Opinion is welcomed but im reasonably sure Ainz cant take over Minecraft. Heck, Dmeieruge cant even control smallest Monster, just animals, with his Voice. I was surprised myself but Skeletons can unironically shoot threw the Anti-Arrow-Magic

@@gabrielsoule5357 Nope, shalltear survived because resurrection item that peroroncino gave her otherwise she would be dead. That item is one time use and shalltear already used it. After that ainz succeeded in killing shalltear with super tier magic fallen down. If the resurrection item was more than one use item then shalltear would have survived the ordeal. There is a high probability platinum dragon lord had some resurrection items at his disposal still ainz would have anticipated this considering ainz manages to kill shalltear twice in one fight on the fact shalltear is the strongest among guardians and had immense advantage against ainz that magic caster. Platinum dragon lord's level somewhere around 90 or more but below 100. Let's not forget ainz had super tier magic and not just fallen down and ian shub niggurath. Plus he had 700+ magic at his disposal. There is a world item in his belly he carries all the time which its function is still a mystery to this day

If i'm not wrong he has been around since the age of greed god or something which many people speculated that they are actually players from yggdrassil was sent before nazarick. Make sense considering the theocracy has access to the world items which are only available in yggdrassil. Basically nazarick is not the only guild transferred to the new world. May i add, some speculated that PDL is also a player beside ainz which makes sense since he knows about the concept of player. As the anime went so far there's a bit of information about PDL as to who he is. He could be a being from yggdrassil that was sent to the new world not just the players. For instance ,albedo was an npc before she was sent to the world. Maybe PDL was a guardian made by one of the players that was sent to the world. Sorry for my long post

He is a P2W player with high level tactical mind and the Resource of one of the top guild. The only thing that can defeat him is either the GM or an even richer P2W player with better tactical mind.
1.True death resists resurrection. 2. “The goal of all life is death” can remove all instant death resistances or immunities. Can Ainz not combine these two to permanently kill anyone? But then, why was shalltear able to resurrect herself? Does this indicate that you just need a higher level of resurrection to survive true death (Amplified) or in other words, TGOALID skill can only make so that you can kill anyone by bypassing their resistances but it does not amplify the anti resurrection properties of True death?
Idk why I am replying to my own comment but I have one theory as to why Ainz didn’t use True death in conjunction with TGOALID against shalltear Because Ainz was cautious that resurrection of NPC’s might work differently in the new world. He wouldn’t want to risk killing shalltear permanently by using anti resurrection spells if there any restrictions to resurrecting high level NPC’s in this new world. But I do think it’s more so that true death isn’t applied by TGOALID, because in a game settings that wouldn’t work. There are plenty of resistances to instant death hax to make it fun for the player but in case you do wanna instantly kill your opponent, there is 12 second delay to TGOALID and it can only be used once every 100 hours. But I do think the author could alter these changes, maybe the laws in the new world work differently than the game of Yggdrasil. Anyway I love you Ainz debates, plz do more.
True Death is a 9th tier spell that resists lower tier resurrection spells. You would need either 10th tier to Super tier resurrection spell or a World Item that does resurrection. And in the New World, its safe to assume that nobody other than Ainz and his crew can cast 10th Tier or Super Tier. As for World Items? You can forget about that since not even Ainz Ooal Gown(the guild) had a Resurrection type World Item(from what we know), and they had the most in all of the game at 11 World Items in their hand. As for TGOALID, it's a buff skill that is applied to any instant death spell/skills. It doesn't really enhance the instant death effect other than making it so that nobody, not even those with immunities can resist the instant death effect of the buffed spell/skill. It's basically a buff that makes any instant death skill/spell, a delete button that can only be used every 100 hours. Another one of it's drawback is that it has a 12 seconds cast time, and if you played any fps or fast paced games, you'll know that doing nothing but casting a spell/skill for straight 12 seconds usually means death. It's a niche skill for such a niche build.
True Death looks to be something Ainz has to come to near direct contact at least from the fight with Gazef. Also I can’t remember if Ainz knew shalltear had a resurrection item but he could’ve been faking that
@@chidorim4st3r5 He did know, in fact it's part of his plan as seen with the cash shop item sticks that summoned his friend's items, and the timer with Bukubukuchagama's voice. He himself also said that amongst the NPC, other than Pandora's Actor, Shalltear's information is the one he knows the most because he was close friends with Peroroncino who told him a lot about Shalltear.

Even so he couldn’t use goal of all life multiple times and he needed to kill all the summons regardless it probably wouldn’t have been a good idea to kill her using True Death as she would’ve resisted it without goal of all life and even then she might’ve still resurrected
he is as strong as the plot wanted him to be and i like that because he is the bad guy.. in a sense.. because on reality there is no such a thing as a good empire on the Ainz world, every empire has good and bad things.
the crazy part is ainz build is considered to be garbage because even tabula a alchemist class is considered a stronger caster but he is so good at mind games and planning ie his battle against shaltear that he is considered one of the best in pvp going as far as to throw matches just to learn and win the war.
Quick question when did ainz faced platinum dragon im at vol 16 and he didnt faced any dragons or was it one the side quest there were that undead dragon but i didnt payed any attention to it just breezed through it
I’m not too sure as I have not read that late into the series, but the dragon I mention in the video where he tanks the attack that would rip out his soul was from the bonus volume and it was a different dragon
The dragon I think u r refering to, is not platinum dragon lord(tsaindorcus vaison) but the elder coffin dragon lord(better known as cure elim los malvar), and it's a dragon lord that apears in the extra volume, that it's more of a what if than anything, in that volume, ainz is transported to the new world without nazarick, and 200 years before the current timeline, in the final parts of the volume (spoiler) he battles cure elim, which at the time was level 95, and it's a dragon that had the ability of both, using wild magic, and tier magic, and at the end of the volume ainz wins the fight, mostly because cure elim made a bunch of mistakes in the fight, and deliberately decided to try not to use tier magic as much as possible, but in the current Canon, cure elim is alive and I think it's confirmed by maruyama himself that he is currently level 100, so yeah, the dragon lord that could have defeated ainz even with a 5 level difference, is even stronger in the canon

This could be a miss guided belief on my end but i dont think aniz role play build makes him weaker i think in the new world he is stronger as a person who has made many game builds and role play characters the character have lore and feats that just dont exist in the game like aniz build is to basicly embody death perhaps in the new world he really is what one could call death making him more powerful there then in the game
Overlord powerscaling is conservative compared to other fantasy shows powerscaling. But in terms of dominance in their own respective universes, most of the time Ainz is the most dominant. He can literally summon multiple country destroying monsters on a daily basis. It was stated that death knights and other mid level summon undead creatures can and did in the past destroy countries. While Goku is probably one of the strongest character in all of anime but in his own show, more often than not he is dominated and destroyed by others. It's not just for shounens but even in other isekai. Rimuru and his lackeys might be strong but they don't have the same level of dominance shown by the forces of nazarick in their own universe. Also applicable to eminence of shadow and shadow garden. The point is Overlord compared to other animes are on the weaker side powerscaling wise and feat wise but if we look on the narrative and their story on how supposedly powerful they are, they will probably at top alongside other characters

Apparently, there was a crossover with another isekai anime called So I'm a spider, so what? and it is confirmed that even Ainz is not sure if he can beat the main character of that series, kumoko, in the form that she takes in it and most likely wouldn't be able to take her on in her final form given that she became a member of the god race literally.
I have to doubt the light speed feats, as an object moving at the speed of light would ignite the planet’s atmosphere and destroy the world. Gazef being able to use a technique that can access light speed would be the Martial Art equivalent to a Super Tier spell. And to clarify the difference between Lightning and light speed, Lightning moves at roughly 270,000 MPH, while light speed is 670,616,629 MPH.
This is fiction. People move the speed of light in fiction all the time and do not destroy planets. Saying a character is not light speed purely because they don’t destroy the planet isn’t a valid argument to be used
@@chidorim4st3r5 Fair enough. But I at least appreciate it when a story gives an explanation as to why a character could do that. For example, with a character like The Flash, the Speed Force nullifies the negative effects of FTL travel unless The Flash decides otherwise.

For future reference, Yggdrasil is pronounced “iggdrasil” and not “yiggdrasil.” This Isn’t a big deal or anything, just a pet peeve of mine when someone mispronounces something.
When the guild had members dropping out cuz of life, wasnt it started that he had to solo grind so he could keep up the guild if and when his friends come back? It wouldnt be far fetched that the upkeep would need some high level monsters defeated even bosses that needed teammates by only himself right?
I have a question about his ability to counter world items with his own world items bc you said it also negated high tear wild magic so is the world item able to nulify magic above a surtain threshold? I have a simular question about the spell "wish" does it not work on world class items or wish is just unable to effect things over surtain point?
Wish doesn’t work on world items and world items counter the effects of other world items. It was the mechanic that was originally in the game. And wild magic has similar effects to world items even though they are not world items. That’s where you get the argument that if something has a similar affect to world items then he can resist it
@@saljpal3 Yeah ,I read the novels up to 16 so I will answer you. The sword of the Kingdom was made w wild magic and Ainz speculates if it could pierce a wci but the answer is that they probably don't grant the wci protection status that wci do.Ainz is currently testing the wild magic sword so we will get a real answer in volume 17 18 probably. The story so far is that the Dragon Emperor summoned players for their wci so if they could create items w wci status it makes summoning pointless so I would argue they items made w wild magic don't grant wci protection. Dragons themselves have protection against wci magic because of wild magic and vice versa.

I don’t really know the full scaling for either but to my knowledge Rimuru in the novels is like Uni+ to Low Multi or something and Anos is higher than that. I’ve watched Slime but stopped part way through season 3 and have only watched a few episodes on Anos’ anime
Yeah but can he beat Madara Uchiha? And I'm referring to Rinne Tensei Madara Uchiha with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan and Rinnegan doujutsus (with the rikidou paths ability) equipped with his Gunbai and control of the juubi and Gedou Mazou, a complete Susano'o, with Hashirama Senju's DNA implanted in his chest so he can perform Mokuton kekkei genkai and yin-yang release ninjutsu as well as being extremely skilled in taijutsu and bukijutsu.
Personally, I think Ainz is city level at most since he scales to Mare, who thought destroying cities was a difficult task (this was in volume 14). There's also a feat in volume 13 where he destroys a city distract with a 9th tier spell called [Nuclear Blast], which has been calced to be small town level.
I thought mare had a difficult task destroying the cities because he wanted to kill everyone instantly with no mishap which he could do easily, but failed a few times because hes never done it on that scale till Ainz helped him practice

This line, "If he cast a whole lot of spells, he could knock down all the buildings and turn the city to rubble", blatantly tells us that he needs to cast multiple spells just to destroy one city.

Skill the goal of all life is death is not ominpotent in yggdrasil. BEcause this skill that bypass all instant death imunity has counter skill that make this skill useless. There are more than 1 person that has counter skill for it. Its on newest volume. There are couple battle between person who has The goal of all life is death and the person who has the counter skill . If ainz fight a proper yggdrasil player 1 vs1 that has knowledge on pvp with proper minMax build, well goodbye ainz. But you know, real life is not a game and ainz is not that stupid. So ainz lose to 1vs1 will not gonna happen because he will use whatever means to win even its mean cheating the pvp or make his guardian fight with him againts 1 person

I really like the Dub because it’s one of the really good ones as practically all the VAs are really good, especially Ainz. I’ve been watching the Sub though because season 4 isn’t dubbed yet to my knowledge
Hes op but within expectations. But his best abilities dont have an effect on someone who is stronger. For ex against like many npc like albedo or shalttear his time stop just doesn't work. A high level player or just anyone with his enough energy
Time stop wouldn’t work because their outfitted to resist time stop. Ainz says himself that you be stupid to not have a counter to time manipulation. So all the higher levels have an item or skill to resist it. It doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work on someone stronger, they just have to have some form of resistance via an item like Ainz
You're absolutely right. Momonga constantly get gas lit by his own npcs to conduct atrocities.The inhabitants of the new world stand absolutely no chance no matter what they do. Then these absolute mouth breathers say "OMG SO SMART AND STRONG"!? Adversity makes a character strong and exciting Momonga is neither of these
Yea sadly. A hypothetical Uni+ infinite speed Ainz would still be weaker than light novel rimuru. Ainz definitely takes out a large chunk of Rimurus. But later in the novels he has low multi-multi+ scaling and at that point a high balled Ainz gets slapped. He likely takes out everything before demon lord Rimuru but I haven’t read the novels for slime so I wouldn’t know much. Because I know shortly after he becomes a demon lord there’s a lot of multi continental to planet scaling. But I guess a universal AP Ainz is plausible when using later novels explanations of world items
Aqua just got strong divine abilities as she’s a god but even when he’s hit by it he’s just like “That hurt more than it should’ve” and gets mad at the ‘balance’. Aqua still afraid of him for the most part too if I remember right
Powerscaling can be hard so a Second-Opinion is welcomed but im reasonably sure Ainz cant take over Minecraft. H-ck, Demiurge cant even control smallest Monster, just animals, with his Voice. I was surprised myself but Skeletons can unironically shoot threw the Anti-Arrow-Magic
