HOW STRONG IS APOLLO IN RECORD OF RAGNAROK 

I feel like Apollo would have voted against destroying humanity (he would have seen our flaws and efforts to overcome them as making us "Beautiful") so I think he was just... not there for the vote (which seems like the solution for Hercules and Buddha)

You know what I just realised. In the final clash between Leo and Apollo. Apollos attack actually slightly broke as he made contact with Leo’s shield just before breaking it. So Leo actually did damage to Apollo. But Apollo had more momentum and concentrated force since he used his fist. So I think it was more of a high difficulty win for Apollo ngl

Tesla will always be a question mark for me, mostly cuz his suit of armor didn't do much in the way of defense cuz he fought someone that negged any form of defense, it'd be interesting to see how he'd fair against the boxing and strings.

I think Apollo is an example of work vs. talent. In terms of RAW power, he's really kind of average with one good trump card in his bow. Basically, in a clash where strength would be the determining factor, he's below the likes of Thor, Beelzebub, Zeus, and I'm even willing to give a slight "maybe" to Hajun. Where Apollo shines is his sheer versatility and technique. For example, his boxing punches are likely slower than Poseidon's trident strikes, but his constant training would likely go toe-to-toe with Poseidon, Shiva, and Hades. I think only gods who have him outclassed in all aspects are Zeus and Beelzebub.

With the design of Leonidas in the series it wasn’t hard to vote for Apollo. Apollo’s design and character was quite cool while Leonidas seems quite wasted in the series. Just my personal opinion but I was surprised that I was cheering for Apollo immediately after seeing both standing face to face.

I've been waiting for THIS video. You're pretty much the only RoR RU-vidr I watch amusingly enough. I had to agree with a lot of people who were saying "Apollo vs Leonidas seems like it could go either way" because Leonidas didn't seem to have anything going that made him 'unique' and Apollo initially seemed like he was a 'fodder God' too. But, hell if the fight didn't disabuse us of those notions. I haven't actually started the video yet, but am most curious to see how he stacks up to Poseidon (His lightspeed arrow against Poseidon who seems the fastest God without a Timestop attack... assuming you believe Zeus' "Fist that Surpasses Time" pauses time.) Amusingly, I could see Apollo naming a new technique after Leonidas.

Leo is really underwhelming in this fight. Which is weird, he was one of the few people who brun was gonna pick vs Poseidon and he just flopped. If apollo used his bow from the jump this fight would’ve been over

I think you could make the arguement that some of the warrior type fighters like Sasaki, hades, and Qin may have the instinct to deflect the arrows like leonidas

The problem with this tiering is that you assume Apollo would have a guaranteed distance from his opponents to use his arrows first,but if he is up against someone with similar or better traveling speed than him,that won't be the case! Firstly,Adam would win.Even before using divine reflection,he was shown able to dodge Zeus's meteor jab,where he threw 100 MILLION punches per second!Just a 3 meter swing for each punch would make the attack move at light speed!He also took multiple punches from Adamas Zeus after losing his ability,attacks that were even faster and much stronger than Apollo's arrows. Secondly,Leonidas was able to hit and deflect one of his arrows just with his intuition.Buddha's foresight can do the same thing,and better! Thirdly,characters like Tesla,Hades,Qin Shi Huang and Shiva should all be 1 tier higher,since they would be able to close the distance with Apollo and fight him at short range.

Who would be a good matchup?

Leonidas is just bad. He doesn't have any special ability at all. He just a really strong and fast superhuman. At least lu bu has the sky splitting technique.

I mean...light beats sound in terms of speed so Beel ultimately loses in the end for me. Apollo is probably the second strongest character in the series if you think that Adam is limited in what he can copy but he's at least the third.

The White Death could defeat Apollo in a checky anime way. Apollo cannot shoot or attack who is camoflauge, and his all seeing eye and Sun cannot help him against the Snow. He get snow-blind instead.

Apollo has one of the most verstaile weapons amongst the gods plus has the fastest shot in tournamnet. Guy is op.

adam would definitely defeat apollo, he already stopped a attack faster than apollo's arrow and also, apollo don't have the durability to tank him for long enought like zeus did.

Apollo may be one of the only gods that could kill Adam. He himself can't react to his own arrows so nether could Adam. He could also bind Adam with his threads in the first stages of the fight possibly.

I don't think Sasaki is able to kill Apollo,because Apollo Arrow are invisible.

Ok guys i want to call it in case it happens I think loki or some god/ god supporter will give siegfried a potion of some kind to make him forget all about brunhilde and humanity overall so he fights for the gods This scenario happend in their original myth so i wouldnt be surpriesed if it happend and after a human that brunhilde will "merge with" kills siegfried she will take her own life This is my personal theory tho i dont doubt someone made smth similar too

I feel like qin would humiliate Leonidas for sure in a fight. Qin vs apollo is interesting but considering hades is stronger than apollo physically he’d win that exchange but if apollo keeps his distance. And uses the arrows, he would give him trouble, leonidas reflected one back at Apollo. And therefor preemptively reacted to the arrow, as someone who has way superior agility, reaction time and battle iq (qin has the highest biq in the series ong.) He could probably reflect it to apollo’s head and kill him. And due to his volund being armor, he will have more durability to survive hits because of it and his endurance is higher than leonidas’ and he already lasted quite a while through those arrows. So i believe qin would win high-extreme diff depending on what he does.

I think there’s some recency bias in this video. And the characters hype up every character before a fight. So you have to take what they say with a grain of salt. They totally crapped on Leonidas and I don’t think he breaks top 10. I think Adam will surely beat Apollo. Poseidon probably would too. And a few more

Respectfully I must disagree with the idea that Apollo vs. Beelzebub could go either way. Beel's vibration defense is insanely good, and his reaction time let him swat away Tesla teleporting his own arm right behind him in an instant. Apollo is good. He's REAL good. But Beelzebub is ridiculously strong and versatile.

Buddha couldn't see Apollo light arrow. Future sight would only allow him to see where he's aiming

This might just be a hot take, but I don't think Adam is losing to Apollo AT ALL. We need to remember that the ONLY reason that Zeus lived was because he ended up making it a battle of attrition, and Zeus even admitted that Adam won that fight even if he was the one who died. Also, I think that Raiden would be at the same difficulty level of not greater than Shivas. What allowed Shiva to win was his final form hacks burning away Raidens muscles and continuously nerfing him throughout the fight as soon as it was used. If not for that, Raiden would've beaten him and very much almost did anyway.

Hmm, maybe Sasaki can sense the Light Arrows. Leonidas did it with pure intuition, and Sasaki's so older than Leo in their glory physique state. So yeah, Sasaki will lose, but He has a chance to sense atleast where the Arrows will shoot and refect back at Apollo.
