In most Mythologies, Primordial Gods are so freaking powerful that many of the main Gods will not dare engage with them. In the case of Zeus vs Nyx, Zeus didn't want any smoke with the Goddess of Night (Daughter of Chaos) and legitimately pulled back with his army. So it's safe to say even from the source, there is a power difference and it's big enough to where Olympians are fodder to the Primordials.
this is straight up not true. Zeus was more cautious of being trapped in Nyx's infinite darkness and making an enemy of erebus. Zeus alone can solo the rest of olympus and has multiple primary source stating he is the most powerful being in existence. The Fates, who control destiny itself, are cautious of Zeus and he can outright tell them to change their minds. This happens multiple times in the Illiad and the fates are beyond influence of beings like Chaos and Nyx. Zeus is considering saving hector from his Fate to die in troy and the mere mention of this sends other gods into a panic at the realization of how strong Zeus truly is. 1v1 Zeus wins against anything in greek mythology more times than not (as long as he has his lightning bolt) and that is simply not up for discussion.
@@josephmangano3261Can I ask where you’re getting most of this info? The Iliad simply has to where Zeus doesn’t want to displease Nyx. Where are you getting this extra information?
@@marionwinkeler8462 Zeus is the father of the Fates and is directly referred to as "Zeus Moiragetes" which means "Guide of the Moirae" who are the fates. I might be wrong about the book but I know Zeus is directly above the Fates according to Greek Mythology
I love that Hades is still getting so much respect by some characters, because alot of people downplay him so much. Qin to me was one of the strongest humans so far and he barely survived round 7 which is a testament to Hades strength
My money's on: 1) Odin didn't write the book; probably was someone older than him. Maybe his grandfather Buri or Father Borr. 2) He imprisoned Siegfried knowing Brunhilde would do anything to save him, even start Ragnarok. 3) Maybe the souls who die in Ragnarok are a necessary sacrifice for the tree of life and recurrecting the Primordial Gods.
That’s good theory actually I have a feeling that the Ragnarok Clause was written in as a secret Ritual Odin (and probably Loki) to gather powerful souls to revive either a primordial or the World Tree. The list of Fighters was also a for Odin to kill off anyone who’d stop him since most of the Gods who participated in the tournament aren’t just heavy hitters but also have some authority or motive to stop Odin. It’s also obvious of what would happen if Odin wins which will be everyone dies as the world resets to its primal state so Humans and Gods would be wiped out.
The prophecy said “Odin with the twin eyes” and “he’ll drink the chalice water”, Odin is mostly known as sacrificing his left eye to Yggdrasil to obtain knowledge, this could be prove that in his fight Odin might regain his left eye and fight with his original strenght, Brunihilde paid her respect to the fallen fighter by pouring water in different chalices and mourning them, still part of the prophecy read by Beelzebub was incomplete so we still Miss some context
My assumption is that Kintoki didn't fight/couldn't win against the guards of Tartarus because he doesn't have his Volundr yet. Humans still have no win condition against deities in battle without Valkyries (except Qin Shi Huang, top 5 in verse btw.)
12:12 I’d say that if beelzebub becomes grateful to buddha for attempting to relieve him from his suffering, Satan will come out and just wash him and ends up killing him.
That is why I love weapon combat in Manga. The illustration effects of the weapons' impacts on panels of fights show how much damage they dealt. And Okita's powerful slash to Susano is an example of that.
Hey guys I know it’s totally random but here it is. I think it’s be cool for Rykard and the Serpent from Elden Ring to have a crossover in ROR. A god devouring servant fused with a demigod. It would be a fun dynamic to see in play granted you’d have to do a lot of writing to make it make sense it’s still would nonetheless be bad ass to see. I just imagine Rykard shouting to the human audience what he says in game when our character first encounters him. “Join us, let’s devour the gods together”
Honestly people need to stop putting Thor Down man is actually up there. We gotta remember he is only fighter who didnt have to go to hospital bed after his fight he only got one scratch lmao
The book was probably written by Mimir the god of wisdom in Norse mythology. He has basically omniscient knowledge and can see/predict the future. Though some other mythological seer or god of wisdom could have too.
Nostradamus mentioned these guards of Tartarus, so maybe he will join Buddha and Kintoki. He loves to cause problems for the gods, such as by destroying the bifrost, so he would be very willing to spite the gods again.
When it comes down to the fight of Buddha vs Beelzebub the fight would be one of Buddha dodging Beelzebub's attacks but not being able to hit him because of his staff's shield. But I believe that Buddha has more versatility in his weapons as we saw Zero transforming his weapon into multiple variations of destructive forms. Buddha may be able to do the same thing and with his vision he may be able to be quick enough to land a fatal hit.
Beelzebub says that Buddha could kill him, but that does not mean he will be able to. For Buddha's divone weapon, it's obvious he no longer has one. Keep in mind that Zero has already passed on. He doesn't exist anymore. For Anubis smelling death, it's more logical cor him to fight Simo, the white death. A man who killed ober 500 people in just a few months.
buddha doesn't need anyone lmao, the basic of buddhism is literally solitude, the manga creator is on sum stuff making buddha depend on others, crazy stuff
@@crimson9790 There's nothing to really suggest that. The only thing they have is Rasputin's inability to die, but it's highly unlikely the author will include that and consider Simo had over 500 kills and was called the white death, whilst Anubis can smell death off people, it just makes more sense for Simo and Anubis to fight
@@thegreatmonacage3782 don't get me wrong but so as many previous fighters like Lu Bu, Leonidas and Okita. Pretty sure they got way more than 500 kills especially Lu Bu.
@@crimson9790 Yes, but we must also factor in intent. Yes, Lü Bu and Leonidas got more kills then Simo, but 1. Leo just wanted to defend his home whilst Lü Bu sought the strongest. Neither were killing for the kill, unlike Okita. Rasputin has a significantly small body count, probably even less than Jack. So why would he have a smell of death?
What if Odin manipulating Brunhilde to start Raganrok because Odin imprisoned Seigfried? But he also decieved her because he never fully tol her or anyone else his plans. The Raganrok tournament has to fully play out because the primordial gods needs sacrifices to be resurrected to this plane of existence. Meaning we would have 13 (now possibly 14) rounds where champions fight to the death and one dies where their soul is collected and used to resurrected these beings after the tournament has concluded. Also Satan could also could be a primodial god since his vessel would already be Beezlebub but he cant fully take over his body until Raganrok has fully ended. This is where we may get a war arc after the tournament, where the surviving gods and humans have to reluctantly work together to face this massive enemy that threathens all of existence as they know it
I will say it again. The author fumbled Beelzebub’s abilities and accidentally made him op to make tension with Tesla who is ACTUALLY superior in power speed and ability. I wish Beelzebub’s abilities were based around planting seeds on the battlefield to create some monsters to attack his enemy with, and the infamous “forbidden ability” should be making thralls out of people in the stands because that’s messed up and should be considered “forbidden”
Beelzebub is confirmed to be the strongest underworld god, stronger than hajun, who before he got the nirvana sword, straight up Beat Buddha. I think buddha could maybe beat beelzebub but its not no diff
Is Tartarus the same thing as helleim? If so, holy fucking shit. Nostradamus may actually be stronger than Adam, since it was stated he could easily defeat all the guards despite him not having any vollund.
They probably are the same thing Since hades is the second lord of hell with satan being the first and bellzebub being the third And tartatus being the greek version of hell and hellheim beinf the norse version of hell So we just need the confirmation that hella (loki's daughter) is a canon being since she is the equivalent of hades but for the norse
