I would counter this by saying Vegeta said "normal" state, implying Vegeta is also in his normal state, which entails a lack of god ki, meaning they can choose whether or not to use god ki. Now as I understand it, SSB is a combination of SS and god ki, so if Vegeta is using regular SS, he is not using god ki, implying that he is not using god ki in base form here, putting Cabba at the post Boo Saga level, which honestly makes more sense to me.

As for their base strength, Beerus established that Goku in base during BoG was incapable of defeating Freeza. Beerus is likely using Freeza's 50%power as a reference, since he was clearly inexperienced with his 100% power, which suggests that from Namek to BoG, Goku's base strength couldn't have gotten more than 20x what it was. ( 3 million - 60 million). Seems very inconsistent to then say in 4 months he multiplied his base strength by 1000s of times
@@Jim-pq9pm Goku was suppressed which would explain why Beerus thought he couldn't beat Frieza and in ROF Vegeta states that Goten and Trunks could beat Namek Arc Freeza and not to mention Base Goku was able to keep up with a in shape Buu before the T.O.P showing how Base Goku has gotten way stronger
I think Super really screwed itself over when they put a macrocosmic clash into the Goku vs Beerus fight. Because think about this... if base form Goku became as powerful as BOTG's SSG Goku.... And Vegito roughly acquired the same power.... Then they both trained and got significantly stronger... Then Cabba comes around and is matching Vegita's base form.... That would mean that if there are plenty of universe 6 Saiyans half as strong as Cabba.... One bad fight and universe 6 is dead.
I have a few issues with Super’s logic and continuity but one of the biggest ones is this: If Goku absorbed god form into his base…how the heck can he still enter ssjgod? So he stacks the same exact form on top of what is already a godlike state??? what? Also…rule of cool always wins in anime. SSJ4 Gogeta is awesome. Cabba is LAME AF On that fact alone Gogeta slaps.
Wait, how would he be a hundred times stronger than Battle of gods Goku if is the same level of strength as Vegeta The same Vegeta that trained for 3 years in the chamber.
