One nitpick to point out: CC Goku didn't experience all of the DBZ movies and that the events of some of those movies played out differently to fit in with how Dragon Ball Super - in the CC timeline - isn't contradicting anything. One of these films not being canon to the CC timeline, for example, would be Fusion Reborn because they didn't recognize Janemba and their first time as Gogeta is during the events of DBS: Broly, which is set shortly after the Universe Survival Saga.

I think it's more so about the continuum being affected bcoz of those corrupt timelines. You see many worlds interpretation applies to all timelines, even the corrupt ones,and there would be infinitely branching of those unneeded one's,causing the whole structure to be unstable I suppose....
