Kars would not even need a stand. Don't forget that his initial hamon was hundreds of times more power then any other user in history. People shit on the ripple but don't remember how powerful and versatile it actually was. Razor sharp liquid whips, invisible projectiles, the uses for someone as strong as Kars are endless. In his first use with no practice and without particularly trying he was shown capable of melting a man.

The way I perceive Kars to be is exactly what he is. The ultimate lifeform. I perceive him that his DNA is a nexus and amalgamation of all carbon based life forms in the universe. Only he can enhance himself far beyond the capabilities of any of the lifeforms he adds into his DNA. He clearly is also able to learn techniques such as hamon just by looking at it. That's scary because outside of Jojo this puts him incredibly high above many characters just by his biology alone. He could learn Ki, Nen, Chakra anything just by seeing it once. Then if you want to take the Jorge Joestar novel into account you see that he is able to enhance any stand he claims far beyond the capabilities of their user. As well as seeing there are 36 of him. The only stand users that could defeat him are those that manipulate the very aspects of physics. Even then those stands are used by humans so to do anything they have to be able to get all their strength into one move and the only thing that could allow damage to Kars like that is ignorance coupled with his arrogance. He is a literal Deus Ex Machina that while he could easily escape space had to be written out. He is the ultimate carbon based life form. If he sees superman he can be a kryptonian, if he sees Goku he could go Super Saiyan, if he sees Thor could he take on Asgardian biology? It's a likely possibility. Kars is a character that is just not ever meant to lose because of his biology. It's like when Araki withheld Giorno in part 6, there was no way in hell Pucci could beat Giorno.

Just because someone has a high IQ doesn't mean they can think their way out of a situation instantly. Even if someone had all those abilities it would be hard to think once you hit orbit and started to float away from earth. I see Kars like Gappy. There are so many things you can do with their abilities that if given to most people they wouldn't know what to do with them, especially if they had all those abilities in less than an hour.

One of the best/scariest Kars scenes was when he uses hamon one time and pretty much instantly boils Joseph's skin since all this time we were told hamon is pretty much safe in essence for humans

Kars just got his new form and wasn't used to it, Joeseph just threw him off guard. After off that's how he wins all his fights!

People are really dumb... Kars can't have all stands because stands aren't a natural ability, they came from space. Since Kars has the abilities of every life form on earth, he can't.

The way I see it, with Kars’ abilities and IQ, there were many ways he could have stopped himself from flying into space but he didn’t because Joseph was pissing him off. I mean the show and manga itself puts focus on Joseph trying to piss him off. So I say Kars was just distracted. Because no matter how perfect his body is, he still had emotions and coif still get angry

I'm gonna guess he still needed to follow conservation of mass, and he could have had the piranhas assimilate parts of the plane to get to the size of the squid. Also on the space thing, the extreme cold could've mitigated what he could do since really low temps will slow the mechanisms of cells, along with the most efficient process of getting cellular energy needing oxygen.

I imagine Kars stand would be something almost like stone free. It would be like a much longer or bigger version of Hermit Purple, but it can compress into a humanoid shape, with incredible power. That's just my take on it, anyway

It may be that Kara lost because he was too in shock over what was happening, like mental whiplash. One second you’re drunk on power and going to kill your nemesis, then your flying through the air on a rock, then your body gets battered, then you’re space. It would make anyone lose some of their ability for higher reasoning.

I feel like if the main four Ultimate Lifeforms got into a fight, so basically Kars vs Cell vs Shadow the Hedgehog vs Mewtwo, Kars would likely win. Keep in mind, although I like all of those characters, Kars is probably my least favorite out of the four even though he is my third favorite JoJo villain. Mewtwo would get utterly flattened, Cell would try to absorb Kars but likely fail terribly, and Shadow would probably only stand a chance of he stopped time with Chaos Control and even then, Kars would likely have the ability to take multiple Chaos Spears and Chaos Blasts

You can say what you want about Jorge Joestar, but in that novel, Cars does a lot of crazy stuff that actually makes sense, like having multiple stands and all of that

Something interesting about Araki is he's said he put Kars in space with the intention of not bringing him back...but if he can think of a plausible way to bring him back, he would have no trouble in doing so.

I never once thought Kars died at the end of Battle Tendency. I'd bet anything he can land somewhere slightly habitable and just break out of that ice he encased himself in.

one of the reasons i like Kars a lot because he respects all life (except humans). when he was falling in the ravine after his first battle with Joseph when he was almost at the bottom he basically turned himself into a pinball to stop him from crushing a tiny flower.

I expected a "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me" joke at the beginning.

if he developed a stand, wouldn't that be his weakness? we've already seen with dio and how he was defeated by getting his stand shattered, as it couldn't have the regenerative abilities that its user had. although it's still a bit flawed, as it would only knock kars out (if that's possible), but it would be a way to harm him, somehow?

Some of the things Ultimate Kars can do, since he can copy the traits and abilities of all lifeforms: See in infrared and ultraviolet. Breathe underwater. Photosynthesise. Change the color of his skin like a chameleon (and shoot out his tongue like one). Cause parts of his body to glow like an anglerfish. Produce electricity like an eel. Change his gender like a clownfish (although, since he has complete control of his body, he could probably do that anyway). Produce so many different kinds of venom, including ones that numb the nervous system, stop breathing, or melt flesh. Produce webbing like a spider. Produce ink like an octopus. Shoot acid from his butt like an ant.

To me, I think the reason why Kars didn't stop his momentum going into space was because of his arrogance and his intense focus on Joseph. It's hinted through out part 2 that Kars seems to be arrogant at times when he thinks he had the upperhand. For example, when Kars and JoJo were racing down the slope to go catch the Red Stone, Kars was predicting what JoJo will do to obtain the stone and he got arrogant and didn't see the other possibility Joseph seen which was kicking snow in his face. Kars thought he had the upperhand which caused the arrogance, and Joseph showed him he didn't in fact have the upperhand. I think his arrogance and pride got the better of him during his battles with Joseph and as a result, he couldn't go and come up with a plan fast enough to save himself from being turned to stone in space. I think that also the main reason was because Ariaki needed to write Kars out of the story too, but I think he wrote him out in this way so that it would make sense to the readers/anime watchers as to why Kars was defeated.

If Kars wasn't sent to space, he'd clap every single stand user in the entire JoJo universe, including *GER* .

Kars has potential unmatched by any other character in jojo due to his status as ultimate being, the only reason he didnt also have the ultimate stand is because stands werent planned at that point yet but i bet his stand would have the power of all stands too.

Isn't kars's power just just extremely potemt adaptability? That's how I've pictured it ever since I've watched battle tendency.

Since he has access to the genetic code of all life forms, I thought of something that could be easily planetary level, without having to bud himself. He could use the roots of a plant to burrow himself into the middle of the planet, while he coats every single bit of body material in that lava-resistant armor. He can spread throughout the entire planet in this plant like state and then, turn himself into a toxic form of bacteria (since bacteria is considered a living organism). It would be emitted on the surface where the roots emerge from the earth's core (where kars' main body is located) and then use that bacteria to wipe out the entire planet. There are also some other options, like releasing parasitic bacteria that allows him to remotely control an entire planet. Then, if you can combine this with budding/cloning, you can create an army of Kars, each with the ability to root itself into a planet and take it over.

My thoughts on why Cars didn't stop his momentum into space is that he had no idea what Space was. He had absolutely no reason to be aware that his abilities wouldn't function in space. he's an ancient being who's not exactly well versed in science and this takes place in a time where we knew a lot less about space to begin with.
