Very good vid 👍 I would also add that whitebeard was as well refraining to destroy everything/holding back a little as his crew/family was there and when he attack akainu with those two hits at the same time made a split of him and his crew so that they could escape but yee 🙈
I feel like endurance and durability should be seperate here, cause if Akainu had managed to completely erase the man's head he would have gone down. He can keep going as long as he's alive, but even a character with supernatural endurance can fall under some conditions
Speaks more to WB than it does Akainu in this case, believe it or not. That feat was an anti-feat for Akainu, imagine being in your prime and not being fast enough to hit a weakened, blurry sighted, dying old man that can't even use basic observation haki square in the face. The fact that WB managed to partially evade that attack in itself is impressive for him, and meh for Akainu. And the magma punches to his stomach and torso couldn't even burn through to his back (mind you, a similar attack pierced through Jinbei and Luffy), so while White Beard wasn't anywhere close to his durability even 2 years prior(he was taking fire fists casually from Ace everyday) let alone his prime, Akainu couldn't really do much in reality. If canons could achieve the same results as his punches to WB, then it speaks moreso about WB being very physically weak than it does Akainu's power. And like Stein said in the video, that very same WB put Akainu on his back with just 2 hits with his bare hand (from what we see from his past self, his stronger attacks were when he used his glaive to channel his devil fruit like Law does or by using both hands). No Yonko is getting put down by those hits(excluding Buggy), these are casual hits for the other Yonko. It's like Kaido using 2 basic thunder baguas and knocking out an Admiral, he did it with just one to pre Udon Luffy or like nerfed Big Mom knocking Queen out with just 2 attacks as well. It's not an outlier feat, the Admirals and Commanders are relative to the Yonko at their lowest, and even then, a few clean hits can incapacitate them. Shanks even did so without touching an Admiral physically. I think it's clear which group is superior in terms of overall stats. Nerfed Olin, base drunk Kaido, casual Shanks from miles away and Old sick White Beard prove this fact.
@@someyeeterontheblock2421 He's basically saying, it's not so much that Whitebeard could endure the hits, and more like Akainu missed because if he hadn't Whitebeard's head would be burnt clean off and he'd be dead. And I'm saying, if the canons and sword stabs and bullets would've ALSO hit him square in the face, he would've died too. Because clearly they inflict a similar level of damage to his body. Context is key. He was durable enough that the hits he took couldn't blow through his back, yet a similar punch put a hole through a logia user, and another went straight through a fishman and burnt his brother too. So he was durable for sure, only not as durable as he normally would be (like I said, only a couple of years ago his body withstood the heat from Ace every single day, and Ace never stopped until he was down, yet there are no burns on Whitebeard's skin). So yeah, the most basic of haki was hurting him badly because he couldn't form a barrier of haki to protect himself. He endured the pain, because he lacked the durability. They are separate sure, but in WB's case, they went hand in hand. He could take the hit as though he had the durability for it(instead of evading) because he was used to that level of pain tolerance that comes with his durability. So for WB, it's not separate. And for the comment about "...completely erase the man's head...", he's basically saying that Akainu was stronger because his punches were more fatal, and I'm saying, the fact that he missed the clean shot at that close of a range speaks more to WB's resilience even at his lowest point, to be able to partially evade a full swing attack from Akainu, who should logically be faster, have better haki and has the element of surprise(because he did sneak him). So it's an anti-feat for Akainu if anything, not something to harp on and make assumptions about what would happen had he hit him (clearly, he couldn't).

Whitebeard has 99 Vigor. Kaido has 99 Endurance, 99 Strength, 80 Vigor. Luffy has 99 Arcane, 70 Strength, and 60 Endurance. Zoro has 99 Strength, 99 Dexterity, and 50 Endurance. Ok I'll stop. Most people won't understand what I'm referencing...
This old man no longer hooked up to oxygen machines (in nose), having grown men hanging off of swords impaled into his chest, heart attack, half face blown off, multiple gaping chest holes….makes you quake when you think of Prime Beard, Roger, and the other Old Men in their prime.
terrific video tbh i was kinda starting to put Akainu over sick Whitebeard but your video was too compelling I did not realize that it took literally 2 quakes from WB it knock down Akainu!
Now I wonder what if wb never had any illness then his power level at his current age wouod be similar to garp or rayleigh meaning he'd have a better chance of fighting the admirals of equal turf, I'm referencing kizaru vs rayleigh because if kizaru didn't injure rayleigh on their fight then a hralthy wb would be a troublesome for any of the admirals. This is on me but I think the current Big mom is at her prime compared to her younger days due to her devil fruit.
Good to see. video which didn't leave out the important details. Whitebbeard was 72 years old, sick, getting worse from sickness, heavily wounded, his khaki was malfunction and yet still put down an admiral... the same admiral that many think is the strongest admiral. If a old sick super nerfed whitebeard needs two hits to win, then a not sick but old whitebeard needs one hit. Which means a prime whitebeard maybe needs half a hit. Emperors are way stronger than admirals.

Ripped off half his head=1 Braincell gone, 1 Braincell: Moves muscles, basically conciousness. Whitebeard: Still moves after losing a braincell, still moves even when he's old, still has conciousness... when will people admire this man? I was about to mention it just right when you talked about it, there's a difference of Durability vs Endurance in One Piece, its similar to D&D, where a character could have a high armor class, but maybe not so high Hitpoints, the armor class is how high you have to roll in order to "make the attack hit, and deal damage", while Hitpoints is how much damage you can actually take, this is a good comparizon between post wano Sanji and Zoro, Sanji's exoskeleton gives him higher overall Durability, but Zoro has significantly much more endurance, so Sanji has high armor, Zoro has much higher HP
Can you do a part 2 scaling some of his feats and feats from others and explaining how pwb scales above them and in the video explain how big the one piece world is and explain the power to completely shake it and cause Earthquakes everywhere and or destroy it. Also here's some other ideas for vids I think we would all like to see about op in the near future. How powerful is Blackbeard. After we get more of gear 5th and more power explanation a video about the full power of gear 5th Who would win Sanji or Zoro How powerful is uta Explaining all of luffys abilities and I mean everything. After we fully understand haki a full depth description on what it is and how it works. After we see god valley ,hopefully, do a vid on how powerful prime Rocks Garp Roger Whitebeard are. A vid on how powerful a king of the pirates Luffy is . A video on why haki is absurdly overpowered. How smart is Vegapunk. Luffy vs ASTA because apparently this is a question. How technology advanced was the ancient kingdom? Now for some other ideas besides op. How powerful is Ichigo ? How powerful is yhwach? Who would win Ichigo or Naruto? How powerful is deku? How powerful is yami?from black clover. How strong is the bleach verse? All I got.
Imagine if prime WB was about to start a war against marine with full of his strength, no doubt hr could be able to handle them all by himself. Thats why many people ( not you ) think he's not that much the strongest but in fact he was old and sick and did all these things before dying. Nobody killed him to be candid he's death has been enabled by his many injuries, stabbing, canon oldness and also sickness... Theoretically, some consider that Blackbeard and crew have finished off wb, but no! The duration and injuries of the war have taken their toll on him, and despite everything, he has still beaten and dominated akainu and Blackbeard, despite all the injuries and other factors handicapping his abilities.
and his durability and the ability to state working and strong with injuries like with some people one wound is enough to fully weaken them in a fight or a lot with characters like kenpachi or whitebeard etc they can either get stronger or keep going and it's hard to even tell they are on the verge of death

Whitebeard was always the strongest of the old era, the last time he fought against Roger, he didn't even use any devil fruit based attack, pure haki thtrough out all the fight, if he and Roger had actually a serious fight to the death, all out, Whitebeard would end up winning, he just has more attributes on his favor, his raw strenght is superior to Roger's, not to mention his devil fruit is just insanely powerful when infused with his haki
I think that prome WB is stronger than Roger just because he was known as the strongest man when Roger was alive and Roger was strong but he was known as the pirate king not the strongest man and in gid valley we don't even know what happened
I feel like there still should be a big distinction between durability and endurance when power scaling characters, cause, while sick WB's endurance is off the charts, his durability is bad for a Yonko tier character. I feel like to illustrate this there are 2 great examples: Katakuri and Kaido fight. Katakuri fought for hours against Luffy, but as soon as he caught up to him, Katakuri started going down waay faster than Luffy. That's because he wasn't able to endure nearly as much as White beard. But the same Luffy who was easily damaging Katakuri, could not scratch Kaido, and it matters. Because even on the rooftop, Kaido started tanking down only after the Conquerors haki infusion, everything else wasn't doing much against him, unlike to Whitebeard. Basically, lower durability allows other characters who are at least somewhat relative to you to use much more freedom in how they approach a fight. If we take Luffy using conquerors infusion, even before Gear 5, we can make a good case for him winning against sick WB. Even if his attack potency is lower than WB, using his df attack from farther range he would be able to deal big amount of damage to WB consistently, without risking of getting demolished like Akainu against WB. Against Kaido this strategy is completely useless. So, in the end, endurance is really important, but to get the full mileage out of it it's best to pair it with great durability
This is a very good analysis, I enjoyed watching the video. At 10:08, Akainu's hit didn't incapacitate Whitebeard because it missed. If he was given the chance to land his attack, he would have one-shotted Whitebeard there and then by taking his head off. They both landed 2 hits and imo, only one of them would have walked away from the fight. Half his head missing and a huge hole in his chest with some of his organs completely incinerated is not something even Whitebeard could live after taking. I don't think that can he used as a feat.
Akainu had a free shot on whitebeard when he had a heart attack and still couldn’t one shot him lol old sick wb incapacitated a prime akainu in 2 shots.
honestly whitebeard is peak fucking strength and i think he is stronger than roger though people may argue that since roger is pirate king he is stronger prople forget if whitebeard wanted the one piece he wouldve gotten it pretty easily
I think that wb prime would scale to moon level. If he could destroy an island just using his fruit in marinford state, he would be able in his prime to destroy satellites and even planets.

Well for endurance and toughness 🎉🎉 its simple kaido big mum are very durable just because they can yse conquers Haki coating but white beard didn't show any signs of using any types of haki Haki 💪💪
nah akaino is said by his meat riders as strong as shanks bcs he apperantly clashed "evenly" with shanks in marineford even though he was there to stop the war and can easily destroy primebeard bcs in marineford he easily blasted half of wb face off and "tank" a full force atk from him like he wasnt already massivelly nerfed.
I know death is pretty final in this show, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if we got some kind of "fruit after death" type thing like the current arc of Hunter x Hunter

I don't agree with your argument about sneak attacks. You see, when WB's heart attack happened, it was during their clash with Akainu not after, unlike what happened later. If Akainu would've turned away from Newgate during their fight and would've gotten attacked from behind = cool, cause that would be his fault. But heart attacks is the part of Marineford WB, obviously. Also, we saw 2 admirals going toe to toe with pre-heart attack WB earlier and Akainu easily matched his AP, so yes, sneak attack played a key role in even damaging the admirals.
Hate me or love me, but I believe that sick whitebeard was the weakest of the 4 emperors. I’d even argue that gear 5th Luffy is stronger, but this is just my opinion

It's a matter of translation. In japanese he's called shirohige, shiro meaning white and hige facial hair. In japanese they call both beards and moustaches "hige", and translators saw fit to call Newgate whitebeard rather than whitestache.
