This whole video is really a showcase of how stupid fnaf lore has become. Remember when Afton was just a child killer and not a damn SUPERVILLIAN??? I mean ffs, his “I always come back” line from Pizza Sim was supposed to be a showcase of arrogance, which is even clear from his other voicelines. He was cocky and believed he was invincible until the fire killed him and proved him WRONG, except no actually because modern fnaf had to retcon that for some reason lmao.
Technically speaking, you could argue he survived. He agony infected mimic1 and shot out Glitchtrap, which is basically the Mimic with Afton’s remnant and agony.
*PART 1* I have a lot of problems with this video that stems mostly from logic. Would love to hear responses from Unknown871 and others about how bizarre this scaling goes. I also want to mention that this is FNaF and although I consider myself a pretty big fan of the series, I'm not omniscient when it comes to this franchise and mistakes are a given; please point them out to me in replies. Anyway, get a ready for a wall (level) of text... First, I want to preface that the books and games do NOT share an entire, direct universe. Statements from Cawthon suggest some direct connections but not entirely. A quote from Scott in regards to Fazbear Frights: "The series will launch with five books, each containing three different short stories with unique characters and plot lines, *some connected directly to the games, and some not*." Furthermore, Scott mentions in Steam posts that the FNaF story has became so dense that he is forced to create alternate timelines and universes to help explain, clarify or hint at the game's Canon; this was a comment on a post regarding the novel trilogy being blatantly inconsistent with the games. This makes so much of what the books present super weak and flimsy when it comes to scaling with the games / linking with the games. In fact, there are direct contradictions in, for example, TSE and throughout the novel trilogy as a whole. One example I can give, off the top of my head, is that Henry died sometime in the 80's in the books while in the games, he dies post-2023 in Pizza Simulator (to be determined but the point still stands). It's also interesting to mention the entire plot line of Charlotte becoming Baby because the games make it very direct that Elizabeth is certainly the spirit possessing the animatronic; "I'm sorry to interrupt you, Elizabeth, if you still even remember that name..." - Henry dedicated towards Scrap Baby. I know theories are being brought to the table more recently on some kind of shared possession of Baby but none have proven even close to definitive yet. The more obvious case is that books that do not fit directly merely parallel the game universe; this can be shown through the Stitchwraith. The shared possession of an animatronic entity, one spirit angry and vengeful, the other calm and timid, is meant to represent Golden Freddy being possessed by both Cassidy and the CC. The Survival Logbook further supports this because the quote "I can't see", supposedly from the CC, mirrors how Jake is unable to see and controls the animatronic's body. If the Stitchwraith is to be Canon to the games, we will have two characters who share almost identical attributes which is unsatisfying and unoriginal. *BASE AFTON SCALING* 1. The video mentions that the dismantling of the animatronics is an "off-guard feat" which is certainly an important detail when it comes to actually judging how strong this makes Afton appear. But further content from the minigame as well as expanded lore also brings to question more of this scene. As the designer of the animatronics, William would have in-depth knowledge on the workings of the robots in a way which would allow him to exploit details in their infrastructure; perhaps there are special points on the animatronics which are weaker, or elements that allow for easy deconstruction perhaps for maintenance, and HW certainly implies this. For the most part, this is just speculation but it's rooted in logic and evidence across the rest of the series. On top of this, the minigames obviously don't present the details of this scene or any scene particularly accurately or realistically. For example, at the end of the minigame, Afton is able to equip the Spring Bonnie suit instantaneously which we can logically say is impossible. This is important too because we have no idea whether or not William was equipped with some kind of tool or weapon to dismantle the robots. In fact, the sprite of Afton in the saferoom upon attack from the spirits shows him with one arm extended with another high at his side, implying he is wielding a weapon of some kind and is attempting to threaten / intimidate the spirits to protect himself. I also want to state that, supported by the novels and even the movie, Afton is amped by the Spring Bonnie suit in terms of his core physical attributes of strength, speed, etc, which is shown in this video. This means, however, that scaling base Afton is more challenging because if he is in the suit, it's impossible to determine what's William's strength and what's the suit amping him. 2. In regards to Afton's feat against Dunn, this is one point of the video that particularly frustrated me. The book does state that William had "strong, inhuman hands" and was able to throw Dunn "as if he were a child". But this is where the line between a literal meaning and a figure-of-speech needs to be determined. Usually narrated from the perspective of children and teenagers, the books will use language and imagery to exaggerate the power of an aggressor to help envelop the reader into a position of vulnerability similarly to a child. In addition, the language, specifically "inhuman", is most likely an attempt to exaggerate Afton's strength while also dehumanising him; Afton is a completely morally bankrupt character after all. If we are to take these quotes, and quotes we will cover later on, as 100% factual and accurate, I have no idea how you can read any book with any level of enjoyment. For example, if in my book, I were to say an ordinary human "jumped like a leopard", do you really think that human has the jumping ability of a leopard? If so, you may be partially media illiterate. *SPRINGTRAP / SCRAPTRAP SCALING* 1. Much of this section, in terms of Springtrap's gameplay feats, hinges on the argument of "what is gameplay and what can we take as literal?". I stand firmly on the "majority gameplay" side but I will concede that this isn't really a concrete perspective. Springtrap's speed in FNaF 3, as shown in the calculations, is interesting and telling but that is also just the FNaF way of gameplay. I will also point out that HW shows Springtrap actually moving around the location, MUCH slower than detailed in these calculations, but the authenticity of that gameplay is questionable at best. I would agree, though, that if anything, this just upscales the animatronics and characters in the earlier games who move in a similar way and at a similar pace. But if you really believe this speed is anything really special in comparison to characters outside of the FNaF verse, I would heavily disagree. 2. When it comes to Afton's ability to survive fires, I don't think anyone in their right mind actually believes this method of killing is effective on him, especially with the release of SB which may or may not show a post-FNaF 6 Springtrap variant; the common consensus is that this is the Mimic, but it's still something important to point out in case this is later disproven. I will say that using the FNaF AR skin as supporting evidence is almost laughable considering the completely bizarre and wacky cast of character skins that game features. I would interpret that skin as being a nod to Afton's continuous survival of fires, rather than being a direct statement that he is invulnerable to them. 3. With Scraptrap, the fact that he uses Nedd Bear to hide makes about zero sense as his animatronic form is far larger and wouldn't be able to fit within. I suppose your counter would be Afton has some kind of morphing / compression powers and all I can say to that is... do you really believe that? Don't get me wrong, the game absolutely implies that Scraptrap hides within Nedd Bear but the point I want to make is that this once again raises the question of "gameplay or reality" and in this case, gameplay is a clear winner. 4. Springtrap / Scraptrap's durability isn't really a point of contention. As you mentioned, the books present the suit as granting him bullet-proof capabilities and even the movie further exemplifies this. This fact alone makes him a big threat to neighbourhoods and streets and, to the highest degree, cities as a whole since he would not be affected by police gunfire; this is not including other weapons law enforcement may employ. I think this is one of the most solid points made in the video. 5. I do not want to repeat myself too much but the point where Springtrap shows to have "preternatural speed" would fall under the same defence as previously mentioned in regards to his feats against Dunn. However, as I also previously mentioned, I would agree that the Spring Bonnie suit grants Afton increased strength and speed just due to its large and bulky nature. 6. When it comes to the FNaF 6 lawsuits, these are also quite silly to be used as supporting evidence. It is made brutally honest that these lawsuits aren't Canon, nor are they even real to begin with; do you really think a person who broke 100 bones wouldn't realise until they returned home? It is most likely that the lawsuits are faked in order to sustain the illusion the pizzeria is a real operational establishment. With this in mind, it practically immediately discredits this feat from Scraptrap, but even the game makes it clear this feat cannot occur. The story of the game is that the lured animatronics in Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby and Scraptrap do not ever reach the actual pizzeria; "... chasing the cries of children in some *unseen* chamber always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach." - Henry towards the lured animatronics. If these lawsuits are to be believed and this feat is accurate, you have inadvertently created a plot hole for the game, and we already have enough of those in this series. *PART 1 OF 2 COMMENTS, PART 2 IN REPLIES*
*PART 2* *AMALGAMTION SCALING* Personally, I do not have much knowledge of the Afton Amalgamation as I have not read most of the Fazbear Frights / Tales From The Pizzaplex books. Because of this, I will not contest much of the feats established in the video. Maybe replies can find more problems or debunk what points I will make. 1. The point against the Amalgamation overpowering Eleanor is pretty weak, as you even mention in the video that she allows him to do so willingly. Of course, as mentioned, I have not the rest of the story so perhaps extra information previously or later supports this feat more. 2. There are some bizarre supposed contradictions in this section; on one hand, you state, via Larson's own thoughts and feelings, that Afton can be measured at a maximum of city block-level because of his power that threatens local buildings. Then, in the next statement, you concede that this variant of Afton is weak and "barely hanging on to reality"? I would infer that you mean Afton only becomes a city block-level threat once amped by Eleanor but that is not made particularly clear in the video. 3. Once again, I will refer to my counter in regards to Afton's Dunn feats but the quote that the Amalgamation moves as fast as a "speeding race car" and has the force of a "battering ram" can fall under the category of hyperbole to help convey the feelings of vulnerability for a child, while also exaggerating Afton's power due to the narrator feeling powerless in comparison. It's impossible, in terms of the information presented in the video, to determine how sound the wall he crashes through is. 4. You mention in your video that "a 'on-life-support' Afton is this fast" which implies that less fragile Afton variants would be faster and stronger, such as Springtrap and Scraptrap. But once again, this creates a plot hole; if Springtrap can bust down walls, why does he sit in the locked saferoom for 30 years until the events of FNaF 3 occur? I would assume, in hindsight, you would perhaps shift the wording of this statement. 5. It's glossed over in the video but it's important to note the way the Amalgamation is supposedly defeated; with help from the Puppet, he is forced into a lake and drowned. How an animatronic only possessed, not containing any living organism, is drowned is anyone's guess. I wouldn't consider this a particularly powerful anti-feat but I thought it was funny to mention. 6. The point towards the Amalgamation being universal / 4D is extremely flimsy at best; it's supported by theoretical statements and not explicit facts. In fact, the example quote you give at 14:09, where "infinite possibility" is mentioned is literally followed by a statement that Jack was basically messing around and wasn't asserting any real fact; "Jack loved to say. He thought anything was possible, like that his best friend might be carrying around cat food even though he didn't have a cat." And I will end my analysis here because everything that follows, if it wasn't already, basically becomes cognitive diarrhoea and this comment is already long as it is. As mentioned, I thought this video was pretty interesting and funny. Please, reply with debunks or counter-arguments because I know for 100% fact not everything I detail here will be entirely accurate.

The durability feat i've seen people scaling it is kinda iffy because Its more of him just not wanting to die despite looking like he had gone through every Jigsaw trap. And yeah. Security breach and fnaf 6 springtrap Suits had seen better days.

How can Fazbear Frights be canon? The FNAF 6 pizzeria is completely different in them and SB. In the books, it's empty and above ground while in the games it still has the tables and decorations and is also underneath the pizzaplex (which is apparently built the same year the FNAF 6 building burnt down. Idk about that though)

Also onto the durability point, that's some straight magic shit, not even superhuman could survive what that suit did to him, and considering this man organs are hanging out and his body basically doesn't exist, there's no way he's alive in the traditional sense.
