My bad for not making it more ambiguous. I thought I'd clarify on Omnipotence and Omniscience a bit. The first thing to know is that not everyone agrees on these definitions, for many reasons. Even with true omnipotence people still debate between "True" Omnipotence and "Logical" Omnipotence (Doesn't / Can't contradict itself or logic etc) However in this case you'll realize even the most mainstream ooh ooh ah ah definitions still have "ultimate power" as a description. Which is another way of just saying that person is the strongest around. Definitions have changed quite a bit, even since the last time I checked it, but that still remains the same. Words themselves are debatable and contextual, and need to be seen as such. With Omniscience, some even argue "seemingly" knowing everything can apply as Omniscient. As of 5/24, that's what Cambridge agrees with as well: dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/omniscience With Omnipotence, generic sites like Dictionary.com describe it as "Almighty or Infnite in power; as God" or "Having very great or unlimited authority or power" www.dictionary.com/browse/omnipotent Almighty, can be informally translated as very great as well, even using Googles standards, which is rather flat and usually short listed with its definitions. This goes into many things, and with many characters claiming Omnipotence / Omniscience. It really is a huge philosophical debate to even prove many notable "omnipotent" characters can actually be omnipotent by us even knowing of their desires and so forth, let alone anime characters who have clear time/ego/ and plot restrictions. What I'm saying here, is that not everyone agrees with words the same way, let alone another culture, and giving so much charitably that you take every word to its utmost extreme is not practical or logical. The battle with Ichibe was hilarous. Yhwach sounded like the kid on the playground giving himself super ultra armor and saying it can't be broken just because he says so.

Yhwach said he wanted to take his time with the fight. Ichigo pulls out his fused hollow-quincy power in shikai. Yhwach decides that he can no longer fuck around and uses the almighty. Ichigo activates his bankai. Yhwach immediately breaks it, not even going blow for blow like he did when Ichigo was in shikai. Another thing that everyone misses is that right after breaking his bankai Yhwach breaks Ichigo's hollowfication before going anywhere near him. He then absorbs both Ichigos hollow and quincy power, but ichigo can still kill him with just his soul reaper powers as we see when he stabs Yhwach in the back. So yeah Ichigo can go toe to toe with Yhwach physically and kill him it's just that the Almighty is the greatest ability in the verse.

You know a character is too overpowered when they have to bring back Sõsuke Aizen to kill him. Still, I don't complain. His exit might not have been the best possible, but he still had a more respectfull ending than other great villains like Madara and Acnologia., who where totally humiliated by their respective authors.

Yhwach is named after the Judeochristian God, whose name is yodh,he,waw,he, or YHWH, and referred to as Adonai-Master/Lord/Majesty. Therefore it is logical to assume that his name ユーハバッハ is supposed to be Jehovah/Yahweh, who is seen as promising to defeat death itself (the shinigami) at the end of time.

Ichigo actually does scale to and above Soul King Yhwach in terms of AP/Dura/Speed etc, but the Almighty hax is what kept him in it. Ichigo was able to one shot Yhwach twice in just Bankai while his powers were stolen

How strong is Yhwach? Man's got his name/powers/existence erased on a CONCEPTUAL level. Literally renamed himself thus regaining all his power. Think about it. Conceptually Ichibes erased the very ideal of a being named Yhwach..still bodied him.

Haschwalth, Yhwach's second-in command and the Grandmaster of the Sternritter also played a part in Yhwach's final defeat too. During the last time they swapped their powers for the night, Haschwalth foresaw the future where Yhwach would actually be defeated, and managed to make it into a dream so that Yhwach would dismiss that future entirely Apparently Haschwalth's biggest concern and his goal was the survival of the Quincy race as a whole, and felt that Yhwach threatened that goal hence why he suddenly subtle betrayed his master. Yes Haschwalth also foresaw his own death but did nothing to prevent that, as he felt it was a fate he deserved for betraying his master and killing his friend

This man is so broken he can break existence this honestly makes aizen's hypnosis even more deadly

Yhwach's only limitation was the one Ichibei called out in their fight. Despite all the power, all the hax, all the amps from borderline eldritch creatures, he was still human. One human with one mind in one place. And his ability to choose outcomes was limited by the range of all possible outcomes he could see in the moment he used his ability. Aizen's ability to cloud that vision is also a good indicator that his human mind is the hard limit on what he can do. What's worse, it isn't that impressive of a mind. The man stole everything he had, never fought for or earned it. In some ways he probably never developed beyond the mind he had as an adolescent. Killing his own men for no reason reminds me of a child breaking a toy that no longer interests him. My guess on the ending is that the power we saw was just spillover that Kazui absorbed. Some fragment of Yhwach's corpse is the current Soul King in the light novels, so he's dead in at least some sense.

He basically sees and rewrites the future. No one can win against that but someone Ichigo did because main protagonist role is the most OP power of all.

Just remembered something about Ichigo and Orihimme's son, Kazui. Like said he is the son of Orihimme, someone whose power consists of rejecting events (mostly for healing effects), so it wouldn't be too far out to say that Kazui inherited a diferent version of his mother's power, but due to his father, they have a more offensive twist, somehow being able to break the Quincy prophecy of Yhwach's ressurection. This is just something that popped up in my head while you mentioned Ichigo's son and I thought of sharing since we never got any explanation on Kazui's potencial besides he already having a version of his fathers original shikai at such a young age. He also has Yammamoto's Bankai, which even he admits could probably kill him. So the one power in the verse that could potentially beat him is ALSO his. To this day, I'm somewhat annoyed that they made such a big deal out of him stealing Old Yama's bankai and never even tried to use it. They've could've at least had Ichigo slashing through the flaming dead before the final strike or something...

7:00 while I agree that Yamamoto recognized the need for his bankai, I don't think it was the only reason he used it right away. Moments before this fight, we see how devastated Yamamoto is over the death of Chujiro. When your oldest friend, someone you truly think of as a brother and not just a comrade, is murdered by some pathetic thief who dares to blaspheme the memory of that person with their stolen bankai... Well, let's just say that makes it personal.

It's entirely possible that the reason Ichigo's kid was able to quash Yhwach's soul fragment thing is because his true power hadn't transferred. He may have only regained enough power to transfer himself to *the current future* with some kind of delayed regen, and because of Ichigo's quincy blood and the revenge thing, he appeared in front of the kid...who then instinctually crushed the vestige in the same instant before it could regain any power. Or plot.

Do not forget Mimihagi. Yhwach wasn't able to see Mimihagi's actions when it attempted to protect the soul king. Yhwach absorbed Mimihagi, and maybe, just maybe, Mimihagi was another component to Yhwach's defeat.

Yhwach is literally born as the Son of the Soul King. OF COURSE, HE'S OVERPOWERED. (Yes, I'm saying this before watching the video).

bleach will forever be one of those anime where the main character seems like the super op multi-transformation guy, and Ichigo basically is that, but the story is just so well written from the story arcs to the lore as a whole. i really enjoyed reading the final parts of bleach, it got really good edit like over a year later: came back to this and tybw is not nearly as great as i thought it was. sure, it was flashy and cool, but definitely not what other aspects of bleach were. however, despite what i said in my original comment, ichigo's transformations are actually fleshed out and not "train super hard".

You know what I love about BLEACH? LANGUAGES! You could have International Soul Society versions and still work, with their own Reishi styles! I know there’s fanfics like that, but didn’t have a chance to read them yet...

Yhwach is a really cool antagonist but he suffers from the same issue Aizen did in that the antagonist had such broken abilities that they had to "forget" that they could use then (or they arrogantly chose not to) because the main character has no reasonable way of countering the antagonist's abilities. Kyoka Suigetsu and Yhwach's massive arsenal are proof of this. Why even give the antagonist these abilities if the main character has no way of dealing with it? I'm fine if Kubo had decided to have another character weaken Aizen/Yhwach to the point where they can't use these abilities efficiently or at all so long as it makes sense or if the main character had simply learned his own hax ability. Something other than "I won't use my OP ability to casually beat you cause I'm arrogant". Usually hax abilities can only be beaten by cleaverness, strategy, exploiting a weakness in said ability, or the opponent having his own hax. Brute forcing your way through a hax ability that should prevent that will always leave a sour taste in my mouth. Yhwach should not have had this many abilities at the end fight. The Almighty alone was ridiculous enough.

Idk why the argument of "omnipotence" is still controversial when the novels state that the Soul King's powers were "near omnipotent" NOT fully "omnipotent". Granted, the current translations are only fan translations so we'll have to wait for the official ones. Regardless, the point is that unless Yhwach is stronger than the Soul King it is safe to assume that he is only nigh omnipotent like his "father" not truly omnipotent.
