I love how Moon will just drop his "catch Gregory" objective to clean up a mess. Like, you can't just punish bad kids in a pigsty. Everything needs to be neat, precise, and in order.

I absolutely love how chaotic Sun is. Like, Sun is the "good guy" and is there to have fun with you! But he's way overly excited about it. "We can drink Fizzy-Faz until our heads exPLODE!!!" I'm just loving his medium crackhead energy.

I think moon wasn't supposed to act this agressive, he's supposed to make sure everyone is asleep and if a kid is stubborn and doesn't sleep he "punishes" them by taking them out of the daycare, poor moon tho, he's under the glitchtrap influence.

They both clean up the same but I like how moon still does that little dance walk thing he does while thinking which one is which

I think it’s kinda cute how they clean up the cans, particularly Moon because he’s this terrifying thing that is out to punish bad kids, and yet when he stacks the cans he’s so precise and quiet about it.

Moon drop is mostly supposed to be quiet and perceive with what he's doing to make sure the kids are asleep, while Sundrop just does it sloppy and fast to make sure kids are entertained. loved Sundrops clean up tho

Unpopular opinion: Gregory was perfectly safe and ok to stay with Sun until 6 am. Sun most likely would've protected him against everyone else, although Freddy was more caring and thoughtful of what Gregory desired than Sun. Yes it would've been annoying to stay with Sun and be forced to play, but it was undeniably the safest option, apart from staying trapped in Freddy's chest cavity and doing fuck all until 6 am as Freddy recharged the entire time

An interesting theory I’ve seen is that Moon is supposed to double as a security measure against burglars, which is why he silently roams the building when the lights are off and is just genuinely creepy despite him supposed to be around kids

The squeaking of the animatronics when they move is what gives them that bit of realism that makes these characters so cool

I think the original purpose behind Moondrop is that he's a security measure to protect children taking a nap in the daycare. Considering Freddy Fazbear's history with children, having him around protecting them is vital. Sunrise was made more to entertain children, but he definitely has some programming that tells him to keep an eye on every child and make sure they don't go anywhere. Moondrop's there to ensure the children stay in one place and nobody tries to hurt them during naptime. Both of them still have that original protocol to keep the children under surveillance, and keep the daycare nice and tidy, presumably so children won't get hurt playing. Vanny screwed with that former aspect of their programming, she cranked it up to eleven. That's why Sunrise constantly hovers over us and picks us up. He can't hurt us, but he CAN'T leave us alone unless we override his protocol with the programming to clean up the daycare and make sure everything's tidy. Moondrop, on the other hand, CAN hurt us, because he's an actual security measure. If he thinks you're a threat to the daycare, then you're screwed if he spots you. But again, the override still applies. He has to keep the daycare tidy so the children don't get hurt, even if there ISN'T any children there.

I love how Sun is very loud and is like “oh no! which ones the top? which ones the bottom” And then Moon is just like “clean up… clean up…” like he’s really trying to stay quiet The amount of detail they actually put into this game is astonishing

I understand why some think there would be a lack of jumpscares and the story would be a lot more boring staying in the daycare, but I feel like there’d be potential for interesting things to happen. Like if Gregory tells Freddy that he feels like it would be safer to stay in the daycare and Freddy agrees and comes to the daycare to keep watch over Greg and Sun/Moon; then you’re allowed to explore the daycare or play with Sun or explore his room. Then when Vanny shows up Freddy would hide Gregory and ask Sun to distract but something would go wrong and Sun/Moon would get corrupted somehow and point out Freddy and Gregory’s hiding place and THEN the story could progress from there? Idk I just wish we had more interactions with Sun in the game

Absolutely love how they both actually clean messes with individual animations. You can tell Sunrise is more sloppy and just wanting to entertain more while Moondrop is more precise because he's trying to be the one to normally make sure everybody is taking a nap.

The whole moon sequence cracked me up. First when he walked towards the boxes, then when he danced before cleaning up, and especially when he laughed proudly before walking straight towards Gregory like 'you did this!! 😡' "Bad children must be punished!" EDIT: Yeah I'm not sure why it's so funny to me but everytime I watch it I laugh

What I love about Sunrise cleaning up messes is the fact that he worries about making a mess despite being aware he's in a daycare for toddlers, the place where you're supposed to play and have fun, so there's bound to messes made in this area. And yet he makes such a big deal out of that, which makes me think that Sunrise is teaching the little children the importance of cleaning up your own messes after having fun which is really cute.

I believe that Moondrop is the more aggressive persona simply because Glitchtrap/Vanny felt he was the most useful. Most of the superplex being in night mode, Sundrop would naturally stay in his area due to his programming parameters while Moondrop is programmed to chase and retrieve naughty children missing from the daycare.

This was unnecessarily wholesome😭 sundrop just wants the best for the kids and it shows even through moondrops need to clean up🥺🥺

Why can I somewhat imagine Moon cleaning up messes, reading a newspaper or just hopping around the daycare silently while the lil kids are napping in the dark-

They way they both move is hilarious to me, I’m sorry, it’s not spooky, I just love this character. They do a little tip toeing in their little funky shoes

It’s actually really interesting how moon prioritizes cleaning up the mess than catching Gregory, even if he’s right there. It sorta adds to his character.

I just got into fnaf, I knew about it since I was young but never got into it and for some reason now I’m so interested in it’s lore and the game itself. Might not play it cause those jumpscares and having to be on your toes would stress me out but I have been thoroughly enjoying watching Others play and learning about the franchise itself. On a side note I think so far sun is my favorite, his energy has me laughing 😂 I love his movement he does when he’s just standing there and like someone else said that emphasis he does when he said “we can drink fizzyfaz till our heads exPLODE!” Made me like him so much more 😂 That crackhead energy is my favorite lmao.

You know this reminds me of some robots I read about in a book that were intended to stack blocks after they fell as they were before however the robots did not understand gravity so they kept trying to put the top block at the top but it kept falling leading to a infinite cycle.

Something I noticed is that Kellen Goff likes to play as characters who have split personalities like Sun/Moon and Doppio/Diavolo.

Idk if I'm wrong, but I feel like Moon exists to make sure like, all children are sleeping safe and sound, no one will take them away without authorization while they're sleeping, or in other words, keep them safe from strangers... I feel like, Sun is the one who plays with the children and teaches them, and make sure they're all there until their parents come back. And Moon is the one who reads the children bed time stories, play around in the air to distract them and make them giggle, and watches over them while they're sleeping. They're creepy as hell but I like thinking about that.

Sun and Moon are probably the only other animatronics that are normal other than Freddy I absolutely love the attention to detail between the two Sun is just sloppy, carefree, and joyful because he’s the one keeping the kids entertained. All about the fun! While Moon is more quiet, careful, and chill so that the kids can stay asleep, also serving as a guardian to the kids.

I just like the way Moon walks, he's such a gremlin and i live for it.
