I have been doing hospitality for over 10 years! And I absolutely believe you are right. I Create EXPERIANCES not vacations. I am now 60% direct book I have many many regulars. They love that I set up and explain so much, that I have places and activities set as options. I only see growing it - In my case I want a multi function room for grouping of lakefront cottages, Nature hikes, wine tastings etc are great but people would come for specific - yoga, meditation, guys fishing, ladies spa weekend, wellness speakers, interest demos. YOU GOT IT, I see it as wait to increase occupancy. But it is Marketing INTERESTS and ACTIVITIES not lodging,
