How The Chosen is reaching a new Generation for Christ! Unfiltered: Gen Z reacts to the Chosen 

As a Gen z'er and also a christian, I really do miss my 'people'. I was hurt and I know their hurt because they're also my friends, but it is heartbreaking to see them keep being angry, insecure or too bored towards christianity. The Lord, Christ and the Holy spirit got so much to offer them and to make their lives better like faith did to mine.

My favorite part was when they showed Adrian at home and he's talking about how he wants to be a good father. I saw the spark of a really good man forming in that documentary. I really feel like Adrian's going to do something good.

This is such a small glimpse of this generation.. I do feel we have failed them. I cried over all the stories.. you could not make these up.. Thank you Brandon for supporting this show.. and your comments were perfect!

Christians (including myself) need to put down our phones and start praying like we've never prayed before. We're losing the battle, even while we've won the war. 🙏🙏✝️❤

14:01 "Not everyone will choose the way of life, but everyone is invited." That statement perfectly sums up what it means to follow Christ. Reminds me of the scene with Ramah's father where Jesus says something to the effect that He asks alot of those choose who follow Him, but He asks very little from those who do not.

This documentary was phenomenal. It is an excellent open door to discipleship and encourages me to pray fervently for each one of the participants (especially Adrian and Imani). They've been so hurt and are in need of God's LOVE. I really look forward to updates.

Please pray for my daughter and her (now split up) family. Last month she was bragging on social media of how she took the grand girls to their first Pride parade (ages 6 and 12), and how she wants to be in an Open Marriage. The 12 yr old says she's been "bi" since last year, and her husband said he's had it and took the 6 yr old, but is now embracing paganism. I had a small heart seizure, and the girls are so saddened to be split up. The 12 yr old is with HER Dad, in another town. Please pray for them ALL! I haven't seen them in almost a year. My heart hurts for all of their pain.

Great video. That moment with Adrian is so moving. What an example for how we should approach people and lead them to search for themselves rather than force belief. Amazing job Jonathan!

These souls are our future and our future church. Be prepared, it will probably look different . We have to get to know them, to listen, to see and hear them, but most of all love them. There are ways you get to be around them, look for them. The message is the same, we are desperate for the deep love of a savior, for an identity that is above gender, for forgiveness which every soul is in need of God be with us all as we try to understand and love

I would like to say, that as a Gen Z myself, this is not a 100 percent accurate representation of every gen z person in the world, not every gen zer has these kinds of stories. I myself grew up in a good Christian home and have a strong faith in God. Of course it doesn’t make the video any less powerful nor does it mean this is not accurate for other gen z, I just would like to make sure people know that while yes Gen Z is the least religious of the generations (at least in terms of actually participating in the faith) that there are still many young people out there who love God and love people as well.

I'm not, in any way, downplaying the issues facing "Gen Z", we are called to share the Gospel and make disciples of All Nations [ethnos](including Gen Z). However, we should recognize that they are subject to "the sins of the fathers to the third and forth generation". My generation (tail end of the Boomers) was over-endulged and often spoiled rotten, thus leading to a skewed moral compass. They "raised" the next generation in their twisted thinking, and it follows that the Gen Z would follow suit. We must understand that the battle isn't against circumstances, but against "the prince of the power of the air" and his minions (many unknowingly) who are often the parents/teachers and all too often "ministry leaders" who have left scripture out, to "attract" the lost. God retains His remnant to speak the Truth in Love, and all too often, that requires that we must risk "offending" those that don't recognize Truth or Love, in a biblical sense.

Brandon, Thanks for talking to the folks about the Gen Z film, I thought it was important and very moving to watch these wonderful people give the Chosen a chance and "all in all" like it a lot. I do hope that Dallas will show us the Gen Z group when the watch season two. I loved watching some of these great people, you could see it, in there eyes and the re-actions that they like the show, even if they did not want to. I do hope Dallas will give us a generic site that we can leave messages to the Gen Z group because I would like to tell them how great they were, and how moved I was that they were so open to the audience. As always thanks for the great work!

If they see a Christian movie they turn it off because they don't want to be fed propaganda. That shows how well real propaganda has worked...

Brandon, right on. We need to show them REAL LOVE. No judgement, just love. That's what will change every Generation.

Thank you my brother ❤ I learned a lot , It’s heart breaking the stories, how the devil doing everything to stop them to not know God and to know His Love for them and step into their calling I was 4 years when a made my mum trusted her to take care of me but she Touched me wrong and that opened a door of spirits of lust and I was Muslim Then atheist then in new age then when I wanted to kill my self and ask God last time “ Source, I will fast for you and I want freedom “ as last try after I tried almost everything to get out depression and demons come to me every night I was feeling there presences And Jesus revealed Himself to me in a vision while I was meditating 🧘🏻‍♀️ trying to connect with God because I didn’t know another way? I didn’t know how to pray to the living God and have respond and He did a miracle of healing for me and I read the Bible it’s so beautiful I knew that’s not human made words because I read Quran and nothing like it! God Is good ❤ and He meet you where you are and He loves you more you can ever love yourself And all those who did bad to us they were a tool for the devil, only Jesus Christ who you can trust completely and His Word and Spirit and the Father and who He send We got to test the spirits and not believing any voices speaking to us And praying to Jesus about ppl and churches because many satan took over them we got to know this fact! I read a couple of years ago about generation z representatives who were members in certain denominations. The main issue for many of them was homosexuality and the controversy with their families who did not accept them at all and wanted them to be removed from their church(es.)

I would say most don’t hate religion. They’re remarkably ignorant of all things religious.

Jonathan just being Jonathan still emits just what I can imagine that Jesus is really like. The love peace and kindness in him is truly magnetic.

I really hope this group will stay open and go on to watch Season 2. I think they would get a lot out of Jesus’ message about reaching the Samaritan’s and also Jesus’ interaction with Jesse at the pool when He helps him realize that he doesn’t need the “magical” pool he just needs Jesus.

I hope The Choosen helps more Gen Z people.

All people have varying and different home lives and personalities and good and bad things happening to them etc. These poor kids are confused. But I can guarantee you that they’re not the only confused people--so are their parents and caregivers. I do believe that it’s not religion that they want they want Jesus. I want Jesus! Everybody wants Jesus. And that’s why The Chosen is so awesome. Because it shows us Jesus, it gets us close to Him so that we can get to know him intimately. Drama helps draw you in to a story. It is so excellent To have such a show at the Chosen! Jonathan Roumie portrays Jesus beautifully. He’s kind sensitive compassionate and these kids and everybody really need to understand that is real love. God is love, Jesus IS God! You explained this beautifully Brandon. I suspect you’re in that age group but you are anointed and enlightened by knowing Jesus. Probably thanks to your family. No judging here these are human beings they are not taught correctly they are confused but Jesus loves them and that’s the bottom line. I am looking forward to seeing how these kids move forward. Because they’re still very young and they haven’t really explored this whole thought process. They made up their minds before they even learned anything true. And rightly so because their examples on this earth were not helpful. People not following Jesus. So good things will come of this I am sure as this is a seed being planted. Praise God for The Chosen and you and so many other people who are helping the world to know who Jesus really is! Thank you God bless you and Vanessa.
