I started today as well . My very first time ever fasting and I'm so scared but I know God will be beside me and I just need to pray and cry out when it gets hard . I'm hungry now

How did your fast Go ?

Hi love! Thank you for stopping by. Habakkuk 2: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay". When God says make your vision plain upon the tables, this is exactly what I do. I write in my journal knowing that what's meant for me is from God, nothing more and nothing less. I've also done research on New Age and that is not the message I'm sending out, hope you understand!

Good morning Samantha! I totally understand where you're coming from in relation to New Age, but this is not the message I'm preaching. I've also done my research on the New Age and was saved from heading towards the path of giving myself credit for my blessings. When I get on the platform and preach God can do anything, after weeks of fasting and prayer, that is strictly about God. Not anything the New Age is preaching. Self-help books and believing in attracting what's meant for me doesn't mean I'm preaching anything from Esther Hicks. In Habakkuk 2:2 it says : And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. I preach about getting real with yourself and allowing God into your life because you will hear the visions he has for you. Attracting what's meant for you. I appreciate your insight and I apologize if I was commenting with a judgmental spirit; I am still working on releasing fear in terms of falling back into New Age beliefs after having been saved from it. I thank you for your gracious and kind response... My question is isn't "attracting what is meant for you" taking on the role that should solely be God's domain? For instance, wouldn't attracting what's meant for you be taking on the responsibility of beckoning in what you desire over allowing God to bless you in His perfect time according to His perfect plan? In doing what is best for ourselves, nourishing ourselves with the Word, with good nutritious food, taking care of our homes, etc, we are honoring our blessings and honoring the temple that is our body so that we can bring glory to God-- it's not so that we can then attract better people or things or situations into our life? That is what I understood "attracting" to be, this "manifesting" what we desire through acts and thoughts; however, perhaps we are simply defining it in different terms. Wouldn't listening for God's divine plan for us simply be obedience to His will and not an act of "attraction" at all? Wouldn't it be all God's doing and not our own? I hear what you're saying and how "attracting" and "manifesting" can be confused as taking on the role that should be God's domain. If God ISN'T involved, then yes, 100% that is true. However, before I attempt to manifest anything into my life, I pray on it first. If it's not meant for me, then I won't have it, it's that simple. God doesn't owe us anything, however he always delivers. It may not be in the way we think, but he always sustains. Let me give you an example: I came to visit Austin, Texas a few years back and knew in my heart I was meant to be there someday. In January 2020, I came to visit again and knew that once my lease was up in Las Vegas, that I would be in Austin. However, the pandemic started shortly after, I had been blessed to still have a job and it didn't make sense to move, so honestly, if it wasn't GOD funded I wasn't going to go. BUT I had faith, because God gave me a vision, so I owed it to both him and myself to write it down, make it plain upon the tables and practically work towards this move. Similar to what you said, I still cultivated my life everyday, taking care of myself and others, eating nutritious food. I fasted and prayed to get closer to God to truly know if this is what he wants for me and my prayer was that, if it wasn't God funded then I wasn't meant to move. Girl, he delivered in more ways than one and now I'm living in Downtown Austin, living a dream. So I saw something that I wanted, prayed to the Lord that this was meant for me and practically went after it by applying to jobs, looking for homes etc. God wants us to attract what's right for us, not be scared of terminology or other's beliefs. If you know that Jesus is your champion and that he'll always sustain, then he will. I hope this makes sense and I'm so sorry it was so long but I'm very passionate about being the soul that reminds our lost generation to live your God given dream. Go after your dreams because as long as God is involved, you'll have everything you need!

@@XiomaraArielle I appreciated the respectful and well thought out dialogue between you both. I too have had some hesitation about the manifestation aspect of the new age view and if it contradicts God's way for us. My current thoughts on it is that Satan can't create he can only manipulate what God has already created, and he distorts and corrupts God's word and creation. So the new age manifestation belief is satan's distortion of God's guidance to us on manifestation. Trying to discern if our hearts desires are God's desires for us requires prayer and contemplation. Once we know it's God's will, are required to do our part through action on the earthly plane to facilitate the completion of the goal. God provides the avenues, opens doors and opportunities, but we must act to walk on the path.

I was naive about that during my fast but thank God for wisdom and growth.

God told me to go on a 40 day Daniel fast and I was attacked. A man with really dark sinister energy and black eyes was following at the grocery store while I was shopping for more fruits and called the police on me. I swear I was minding my business just shopping. Police couldn’t explain what was going on and sent me to a mental hospital. All the doctor and medical professionals that were aiding me had demonic spirits in them. Something in my spirit told me to say Jezebel and when I said jezebel to the nurse she turned her head so quick and responded to me. The nurse she said how do you know my name angrily. Scared me because I never experienced this. The doctor harassed and lied on me. So much more happened. I had a vision saw Christ and also saw Satan. Made me never want to fast again. Scared me straight but I know I need to fast because I didn’t finish the fast that God told me to go on I only got through day 3 out of 40. Do you have any tips?

Amanda you are so sweet! I know your comment was 2 weeks ago, any update on your experience? My most recent fast last month made me realize sometimes it's not about the food you're fasting, it can be more than that. For me, I had an emphasis on fasting from certain people specifically. And girl, I gained SO much clarity. So ask God what exactly he wants you to remove and hopefully you'll gain some more clarity!

@@XiomaraArielle Thank you for replying, must share that it was the best thing I could have ever done it was indeed an eye opener, I draw nearer to God, I found myself being more aware of the things I do and say and to top it off I also got baptized. Oh this is 100% honesty: I got everything I prayed and ask God for no cap the only thing that was missing was getting a job and I can safely say I’m now in a Job it’s my 3rd day.

@@XiomaraArielle Aww. I'm happy it did. My experience went well. I ended up doing 28days. The 1st 2weeks went well but in the 3rd week, i got depressed waiting on God, to hear him in certain areas. And i knew at the end of the 21days that i needed to stay an extra week with God. He led me to read a book "Battlefield of the mind" by Joyce Meyer and that was where my liberation started. I had alot of strongholds in my mind and negetive thinking hindering my prayers and faith. Once i read the book and asked God to help with the battle in my mind, i got clarity and answers to questions. Now, i am just on auto cruise mood waiting on God for manifestation of all he told me. Still believing and working towards the job he promised. And trusting he will supply my needs and my bills will be paid. Been an awesome time with God. I am so sorry about your relationship. I'm sure God has better plans for you. And it will be so worth it. Just keep trusting. My Ex also broke up with me Dec 30th last year. Over a month ago and i am thankful because i know God's plans are way better than mine. I hope you are doing well since the breakup.? Lots of love from Lagos, Nigeria. ❤.

Hey, most of our stews and soups in west africa can be easily turned into Daniel fast approved food. Just take out the fish and the meat

Journaling is not from the enemy and I am in no way trying to be God. I am simply knowing that God wants me to be aware of the blessings that are available to me, and writing them down makes it plain that I'm in the right space to receive them. And if we are testifying and taking part in spreading the gospel, we have a responsibility to righteously represent the kingdom. Those are my last thoughts.
