Which history ur are talking abt? About babri masjid? ASI report does say there was temple structure before masjid. Lets put it in another way, why jews are fighting for Jerusalem? it is simple because there was a jewish temple which was destroyed and this happened long before the birth of Jesus. Why Christians fighting for Jerusalem? Simple because it the birth place of Jesus. Why Muslims too have claim there, because it is believed that Prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven from here. So, Jerusalem is important for these religions, is there any hisorical validation for every thing here? No, people believe it because it was written in there holy scripture. Same way Ayodhya is a holy place for hindus. There is mention of Ayodhya in Ramayana, and if ur are saying babar came b4 Ramayana then may god bless you. And if u r saying there is not historical evidence for it, then it the same for every religion.

I am not a religious guy, but do you think there arent any problems in Isreal and Saudi, but still Mecca Medina, Jerusalem hold special place in Christians, Jews, and Muslims, they keep improving infra there why? It is simple, religion is very powerful and people have their faith in it, hence everyone want do do their best. Thats the same thing here. If u know a bit of history then you would understand why Jeruslem is so important for all three major religion and the same way you would understand why Ram mandir is important for hindus.
