My biggest girl just topped 200g. It's absolutely all about while mommy hamster is pregnant she gets an unlimited amount of food. Petstore hamsters don't get this. I had two unexpected litters and the babies are huge compared to any Ive owned from Petco. As a certified veterinary technician it makes me so sad because those hamsters are lacking all the way around in health
I have 3 hamsters in my house and as much as I got space for them it’s way too expensive and I didn’t think I would get another hamster but I manage to find space for them all, no more hamsters for me for a while!

I tried to convince myself something was wrong with my hamster Alfie at first but turns out he is just suuuuper lazy and doesn’t wake up until 10 at the earliest and takes his treat from my hand before running back to his burrow and hides it 🤣 he’s still adorable tho :))
Same! I worried alot that there's something wrong with my hamster, Don as he is always hiding in his burrows after i gave him treats and after i let him play when he's awake I'll put him back in his cage and suddenly he'll sleep but thank goodness that I'm not alone. Hehehe
I guess hamsters just have different sleep schedules. My hamster always wakes up around when I normally clean her cage (before I go to bed) and is asleep by the time I wake up.
I was wondering if you could make a video on how you bonded and got a strong relationship with your hamster, and if you can also add a video on how to learn to hold a hamster without them biting you? Also have you ever been bit by one of your hamsters?

Hey! Maybe someone can help me. I got a new hamster some months ago, she is a syrian hamster and I got her from another girl when she already was 5 months old (she will be 1 in January). I "rescued" her, she didn’t had a good cage, nothing to borrow in, no toys and very bad food. She isn’t my first hamster and I actually have another one (of course in another cage!). I never had problems with taming hamsters and all my hamsters I had before liked coming on my hand. The one I rescued is still very scared.. she doesn’t liked being touched at all, she only takes food of my hand. What should I do? Should I just leave her alone? Or try taming her? Because I haven’t been making progress since may.. is it possible that the other girl scared her so much that she’s just scared forever? I never had a hamster like that before.
When I moved into my house, it came with these large wooden boards in the attic. Four years later, they helped me make my hamster an absolutely huge enclosure! She has an aquarium with it for burrowing. I don't think I'll get another hamster though as I like having a spacious living room 🐹❤️🛋️
Syrian Hamsters for me will always have a place in my heart. I currently have one hamster daughter of the said breed,and she has never failed to bring a smile on my face. It’s sad that they don’t live very long,but the best that owners could do is to make their lives worthwhile. Wishing you and your baby hammies the best 💐✨🐹🌻
My hamster also pees on his wheel so I got a plastic wheel (like the one in Mabels enclosure) so each day I just rinse it off and put it back in. Its probably a lot easier the changing out the cork.
Where do you get your cages from? I want to buy my dwarf hamster a 40 to 50 gallon aquarium. Everything I find is good except for the height. The height is always like 10 to 15 inches but I need more height for the bedding. I don’t know where to find a good aquarium for him.

I feel so bad for my new hamster, Alexander Hamsterton. I got him a suitable cage (Prevue 528), and carefresh bedding, a water bottle, chew toys, a house, and...a wheel. But... the wheel from the store was defective, and Alex knocked it over. luckily, our new wheel is coming today, but yesterday was miserable for him! I was helplessly running around the house in the middle of the night, trying to get him something safe to keep him entertained, but it broke my heart to see him monkey baring so much from boredom! I can't wait for the wheel to come!
My ham lets me pet him but is very scared of me picking him up. What do I do? I’ve tried putting food in my palm but he just takes the food and runs to his hide.
out of curiosity does anyone else notice the letters board at the back of the videos? the letters/words on the board usually match the video's theme like this time it was "words & stuff" or smth right? like i've noticed it always matches lol
@@StrongBrewHamstery Ik 😅 What I ment was if I put him in it out of the enclosure, he would still tear it apart. At night, he manage to grab my littles brothers' hat and he has a wire cage so he managed to grab it and he litteraly teared it apart so I think if he can do it to a hat, he's do it to a snuggle sack😂

Hey Victoria, I just want to tell you that my hamster Buddy died on the 24th of August and my friend that was taking care of him told me about 2 weeks ago. I just want you to know that thanks to you he lived a great life with all the proper care he needed. I’m so glad i was able to provide him a great life with the help of you and your videos. He was 1 year and almost 7 months 😔 R.I.P. Buddy
Your hamsters are so cute!! I have a question, my hamster, nibbles, doesn't like humans. So if you try to pet her or carry her, she will bite you. I am wondering if that is my fault, or just some hamsters are like that?
Some hamsters are like that sadly. Look but not touch hammies. :( A way to get around handling them is to get a container, like a mug, put it near them and when they walk in you can take them out their enclosure. This is handy for when you need to clean their cages.
I’m so exited!!! I’m getting my 5th hamster tomorrow. She’s a black and white baby Syrian called Olive. Also I’m pretty sure dipper is half pancake I mean look at him Edit: I think some of yall misunderstood me I’m getting my 5th hamster tomorrow as in I have had 4 others throughout my life and they have all passed away
They’re soooooo adorable you’ve helped me learn a ton and because of your channel I was able to understand that hamsters were not the right pet for me so I’m really thankful I knew that before impulse buying,but rn I have the ability to properly take care of an hamster so I’m gonna get one maybe later this year! Btw Mabel is ADORABLY huge I swear my jaw dropped when I saw her 😂
