@@dirtydirtsgt4751 Easy for you to say. Just as there are different kinds of plants and vegetables, so too are rocks and minerals varied. For example, Gorons might not be able to stand eating limestone, yet still find granite irresistible. (Just saying as an analogy, I don't know if this info is canon or not.)
@@liamanderson7082 one of the Gorons in the village says that they ate the rocks from Dodongo cave for so much time that now they cannot eat any other rocks.
@@TheDerpyDolphin But most games that had all the violent content that OOT did, they got higher ratings. They could have at least given OOT a teen rating.

Here in Europe we have the pegi who rates games depending on age, all zelda games are pegi 12(which means you can play them if you're 12 years or older) that's a lot higher than the ESRB's rating.
3:21 How you ask? With the Stone of Agony of course! Or perhaps like I did as a child by guessing that a grotto might be hidden there, as I didn't have a Rumble Pak. I tended to do random things like bombing trees and circles of rocks until something good happened, then I would purposefully seek out such secrets. Knowing about the circles of rocks, I figured the fenced off square might hide a grotto too. While messing around with the ocarina, I once uncovered a fairy, after that I kept trying it again each time I came across something similarly conspicuous. I can't be the only one who discovered the hidden rupees atop the drawbridge. Curiosity can be really rewarding in this game. I regularly played it for two years before I could finally beat it, so I spent a lot of time exploring and trying stuff. I was young (I was 8 when the game was released) and didn't understand English (my first language is French) at the time, so I couldn't rely on text to guide me. As I live in North America, console games were only in English. That was when localization was limited to regions and not by your system's settings. I also had a very hard time with Paper Mario. However, I always tried to read even though I couldn't comprehend it. That's pretty much how I learned English, by using context to slowly but surely grasp the meaning of each word. I wasn't the only one playing the game like that. My group of friends shared newly discovered secrets among each other. That was when the Internet was bare-bones and not mainstream at all, we had to rely on magazines and friends. Heck, I fondly remember being stuck for hours in Kokiri Forest because I couldn't find the shield to progress. It's only once I let my little sister play for a bit that we found the answer: she tilted the control stick while talking to the shopkeeper, not because she got the hint but because she was just messing around with the controls. I didn't realize it was a shop.
When you enter Kokiri forest when link is older, when you enter the loading zone, there's a big deku baba standing to your right, you cant move for a few seconds when you enter the loading zone, and the deku thinks it's a great opportunity to bite link.

@@xSoporific1 There is. But they changed and removed a lot, to the point where it feels like an overblown reimagination. So don't expect a faithful retelling of the game's story in Manga Form.
"Slow text speed" "Slow block pushing" If you play the Zelda OoT Randomizer, it addresses these issues amazingly plus adds other quality of life features. Also there's a rom hack that adds these things to the regular game, it's called BetterOoT. But yeah if you're playing the actual cartridge, you're stuck with the slowness.

5:35 Actually you can go back to the Skulltula house at any time to get another 200 rupees, so it’s essentially unlimited money. But still, at that point at the game it is worthless
rupees is completely worthless, you can literally farm infinite of it by repeatedly going out and in of an area. It may take more time sure but you won't be saving any extra time by hunting all those spiders.
2:35 Well... The reason why the Goron don't eat the rock is simple, it's the same reason we eat letchuce, but not grass, the rock there isn't the type of rock they can eat. A Goron confirms the Dodongo Cavern is a volcanic rock farm, so, they only eat that kind of rocks
i added the Song of Storms remix to my music playlist specifically so i could imagine Ganondorf playing that Ocarina every time that song plays. now every time i hear ANY Song of Storms, i imagine this scene. i think i need to see a therapist.

Don't insult navi for saying how to open doors. I literally got stuck there as a kid cause I didn't realize the door in the great deku tree was a door somehow.
3:22 actually there are a lot of random holes in hyrule field that you're supposed to find using the Stone of Agony. Meaning you have to use the Rumble Pack to find them. Either that or sheer boredom to find literally everything the game has to offer.
Lol the part in the lost woods when you have to listen to the music getting louder is only in the level when your trying to find Saria. On any other part of the game when you enter the lost woods the music stays the same. but the trick i use is that when you walk up to the correct tunnel, the light in it gets darker and darker, but with the wrong tunnels the light stays bright. the only time when all the tunnels looks the same when you make it to the last area of the lost woods and the correct tunnel leads you to that area before the forest temple, when you have to battle the Wolfoes for the first time.
