Kings just need to pack up, relocate to Seattle and do a total rebranding. If any free agents are going to Cali, they're going to the Lakers or Clips, possibly the Warriors, but other than that you're only going to Sacramento if you're drafted there lol

It's pretty sad. I became a fan of the NBA in 2010 when I was 10 years old, and now that a lot of the players I grew up watching are exiting their primes and entering their potential final deal of their career, I can't help but feel really sad and like I may not enjoy the NBA as much in the future. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good upcoming players that I'm excited about, but idk man it's a weird feeling.

@@puttje1 The pelicans problem was their coaching and you can't put all the blame on demar for the spurs not making it, looking at their roster they weren't better than any team ahead of them in the standings and were a fairly young team with a bunch of secret gems who could prob be more appreciated on a championship-contending team, yeah demar was a part of the problem but it was not like he was gonna lead them to the playoffs by himself, their second best player was Dejounte murray.

I grew up with 2000’s and 2010’s basketball and it makes me sad that all those players from both eras are retiring soon. Times were much simpler and certainly much more enjoyable to watch.

Literally the only time during the last 18ish years that wasn’t the case was the 2017 and 2018 Warriors. Hard to tell about this coming year since in theory Lakers and Nets should dominate but people said that for this past year and clearly injuries and other factors like Giannis and Devin Booker going off said nope.

Crazy shit is, Serge Ibaka almost signed with the Nets last season. The Lakers and Nets would’ve had Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka. That was 4 of the 5 starters from the 2012 western conference finals lol. Thunder fumbled the bag badly.

From then on, OKC Thunders became another team on the list of "WHAT IF". What If the owner is willing to splurge more money to keep Harden on the team and paid above and beyond sophomore contract he deservedly so. These young bucks are just one or two years of maturity away to became what they are now. Added one really good coach, and the city will have a dynasty. Imagine that. Instead, it was The Warriors that turn the tide.

I remember that 2011-2012 lakers team. They were good in the regular season but crumbled in the playoffs, They were slow and fatigued from the previous 3 championship runs and the west was finally catching up to them. That was also the last hurrah of the Kobe-Pau duo and that was the season Kobe decided to finally get his knees drained too. The result was a very slow Kobe and his efficiency was just awful. His efficiency from 2007-2010 (his 3 championship runs) were 46/35/84 splits his efficiency that season was 43/30/85 basically all down.
