Still evolving in this present(without reason).. every President make his/her own design.. if me, I wanna pass a law prohibiting to change our currency...
That's conflict A government shouldn't control the central bank And it was testified what was happen in China and in the US before that's why back in 1980s more and more central banks have their freedom to decide, stabilised and maintain the price stability And why not change the note If there's a lot of fake banknotes around there It is more better that we change our note with new more secured features to challenge and eliminate those counterfeiters
What about the peso banknotes and coins issued by the Republica Filipina (1st Filipino Republic), during the administration of President Emilio Aguinaldo?
Philippine banknotes looks like the american money.i still have a P20 bill,I found in my old wallet. It really is so beautiful.Coins minted were from silver. The Philippine banknotes and coins now look like Mickey Mouse Money.
Ninoy Aquino yellow 500 pesos was NOT launched in 1985. In fact, the original 500 pesos in 1985 Bagong Lipunan series was colored green and had the face of President Marcos. Pinatapon lahat yan ni Cory Aquino when she sat in power in 1986. At PINALITAN ni Cory ang original 500 pesos, pinalitan sa mukha ng asawa niyang traydor ng bansa, na si Ninoy Aquino Jr. in 1986. The Ninoy Aquino Jr. 500 pesos did NOT exist in 1985. It was NOT part of the original Bagong Lipunan Series 1985 Philippines money that President Marcos had minted at the Central Bank of the Philippines in 1985. Also, the the Central Bank of the Philippines complex was built by Marcos in 1970s, at PINALITAN lang ng pangalan in 1993 by virtue of the 1987 constitution of Cory Aquino at pinangalanan ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.... Maraming pinalitan lang ng mga pangalan si Cory Aquino sa mga proyekto ni President Marcos para angkinin ito.. kahit hindi sila ang nagpagawa pinalitan sa pangalan nila Aquino..
mj sanchez - And now you know. The original and first 500 pesos and original and first 1000 pesos were first launched in 1985. The banknotes were minted and printed in late 1985, but the new pesos Bagong Lipunan 1985 Series bills were not circulated due to the snap elections, and were made but put on hold and not released to the public until after the 1986 snap elections was finished. President Marcos knew that he would win the election based on the surveys and sentiments of the WHOLE PHILIPPINES. You know that EDSA 1 crowd were only in Manila, NOT the whole Philippines... Here is the artist story www.mananquil.com/DesignOfMoney.html
Kahit wala ang colonial mabubuo Ang bansa through expansion, also malaya na tayo from colonial so basically may right akong makapagsabi about this.. but past is past the thing is meron na tayong currency na nagsurvive back then called lapi and pera, salapi means "isang lapi"...
The 500 pesos with Ninoy Aquino face was NOT launched in 1985, that was a mistake here, coz it was released in 1986 when Cory Aquino sat in power, after the legally elected President Marcos was kidnapped to Hawaii. The 1985 series had the green colored 500 pesos with the face of President Marcos printed on it. The 1985 series was the BAGONG LIPUNAN SERIES created by President Marcos. When Cory Aquino sat in power, even when she was NOT elected, coz Marcos was the elected president.. Cory Aquino destroyed all the green 500 pesos 1985 series with the Marcos face on it, and replaced it with the yellow color and the face of her husband Ninoy Aquino Jr. in the year 1986! Therefore the 500 pesos in the 1985 series should NOT be the yellow version with the face of Ninoy Aquino but the original 500 pesos colored green with Marcos face on it. Also, the Manila Mint got destroyed in world war 2. There was no minting facility in the Philippines after world war 2, that was why money was minted in other countries like in London in the late 1969 to 1972, by President Marcos. Examples of coins minted in London was the ONE PESO COIN (with Rizal on it) minted in LONDON dated until 1972. In late 1972, President Marcos built the new modern Central Bank of the Philippines complex complete with a minting facility to print money/coins/banknotes and a gold refinery (the first ever in the country!). The modern central bank complex that President Marcos built in 1970s was renamed to the new name Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in 1993 by Ramos by virtue of the 1987 Constitution of Cory Aquino. That is the real history of the pesos of the Philippines........ that this video is NOT showing.
Why here in Philippines you use ₱ sign for peso while all peso in Latin America use $ as their sign of their currency? I wonder To distinguish Mexico uses Mex$ Argentina uses A$ Chile uses CLP$ Colombia uses COL$ Uruguay uses $U While Dominican Republic uses RD$
@@francisarchie207 Originating in the Spanish Empire, the word peso translates to "weight". In most countries of the Americas, the symbol commonly known as dollar sign, "$", was originally used as an abbreviation of "pesos" and later adopted by the dollar.

Before you sell it on high price it should 1. rare note 2. condition ( how it looks like how many folds and impurities on the notes you may have) 3. Is this a low printed note/ rare or what 4. Is it legit? Or it just a replica 5. The demand (for that specific notes)
