Cades needs help in his last 7 games he’s avg: 31.7/7.9/4.7 1.6 steals on 55.5/46.9/86 shooting and in the last 6 games he’s doing better with a POSITIVE PLUS MINUS. Meaning when he’s in the bench for those 11 minutes the team give up leads or let the other team blow them out.

I am a believer in Cade Cunningham. I think he has a high ceiling. It's really hard for a player to suceed in a team that is not built to maximize its strength. Troy Weaver has done a terrible job of rebuilding this team, its obvious there was not a clear identity or direction.

This what happens when u don’t draft with the purpose of getting pieces that fit together. Ivey+Cade+Hayes is redundant, and they only have one guy who is a consistent catch and shoot guy from 3 in volume. Ausar is their only great defender and he’s basically a negative offensively.

If the Pistons drafted Carmelo instead of Darko, they probably would've been an NBA dynasty. Melo does most of the scoring, Billups the playmaking, the Wallaces and Tayshaun Prince the defense. Along with a deep bench. It's that simple

Rebuild began in earnest with Cade and he had 76 NBA games coming in to season as the most experienced player of the 'core 4'. While the rebuild may have began a while back, the crux of all that tanking never hit until this year. All the young tanking talent was finally playing big mins and dominating the ball.. and all the vets were hurt. It's not that complicated why the streak happened. People making too negative a deal about. I bet if you go back and look at those other awful teams, even they had more game experience per minute in the rotation than these pistons did. That, and the NBA is deeper than ever. That's why it happened. The Pistons are actually not in a bad spot big picture. I think they're gonna have an exciting 2nd half and be exactly as expected, just a terrible rough stretch where everything culminated with youth, injuries, rusty Cade (who never had time to prove himself), new coach.. etc

Odd thing about the pistons is 75% of their games they actually had a shot and would choke in the last quarter
