i love the new card focus editing thats happening. As someone who sometimes has had to pause your videos in the past to read cards, its much appreciated. Nice upgrade!
Saving your whole board from the Sunfall was a moment 😂 . Also the evolution from “No questions!” to “one question.” Love where the channel is at right now. Thanks CGB.
this is why I watch this channel man, I would NEVER take the time to understand nor buy this deck. Heck I'd never know it existed.....and CGB plays it QUICKLY, TALKS, AND COMPETENTLY. What a masterclass of magic skill, critical thinking, and entertainment man..... @CovertGoBlue this might be your best video just for how much you put on display at one time. Please never leave us.
I was heartbroken. So close on her first shot while also running an off meta deck (at least at the time). Still a wildly impressive showing and I’m excited to watch her more!
i like the new additions to your video "format", nice nice! I hope your are having fun finding new ideas and innovating your videos as I am having fun watching them
I would love if you would invite the pros to comment with you the video. It could also be an explanation of the deck (lines, important plays, sideboard strategy, etc.) On Nicole Tipple twitch, she invited Jason Yee to comment with her. I learned so much. This deck is so hard to play, especially in arena. Even Nicole would make little mistakes sometimes after playing a full pro tour with the deck with good results. The auto-tapper is often your enemy. Also, the infinite loop often takes 20-30+ game actions. So in paper, you can explain it. In arena, you have to click and you often have not enough time to do it unless you know exactly what to do.
I love this deck so much, even more since outlaws of thunder junction. I was one of the few playing the deck 2 months ago. It was fringe, fun and sometimes explosive. I qualified for RC Montreal with my own list just before the new set. I was surprised to see how many pros played it last weekend. Then I tried it with honest rutstein and I was sold.
This deck looks intimidating to play, props for doing a good job showing it. I think the reaction zoom edits work better when its used more sparingly - they are kind of annoying when you're just talking but great when something WTF/unbelievable happens
I don't know what you're needing Vial for if "Tinybones Joins Up" could do the same in this deck, also it's cheaper and an enchantment so it would be harder to remove, discards at ETB and mills the enemy for 1 card whenever a legend ETBs
I've actually been finding 4 color girl with white instead of red better for arena. I include raffines, Thalia and gitrog 2 drop kellan who finds combo pieces and instead of vial smasher I use tiny bones joins up. The combo is more of a threat and sees more cards with less fear of losing them from entis card selection.
The Legends archetype makes Esper midrange feel mildly exciting. When these two juggernauts of boredom met face to face in the PT it was challenging not to turn it off. Planeswalkers did nothing wrong and at least in those times sets weren't filled of mostly useless creatures who only matter in commander.
You don't need Red, you can do that in Sultai Using Rakish Crew/Soul Enervation/Tinybones Joins Up for damage Or go Insidious Roots or Geralf, the Fleshwright to make many Tokens 2 Rakish Crew 2 Smuggler's Surprise 2 Soul Enervation 4 Plaza of Heroes 2 Rona, Herald of Invasion // Rona, Tolarian Obliterator 2 Tinybones Joins Up 4 Underground Mortuary 4 Honest Rutstein 2 Geralf, the Fleshwright 4 Deathcap Glade 2 Three Steps Ahead 2 Restless Cottage 2 Undercity Sewers 2 Lively Dirge 2 The Mycotyrant 2 Jerren, Corrupted Bishop // Ormendahl, the Corrupter 4 Blooming Marsh 2 Chalk Outline 2 Double Down 2 Insidious Roots 4 Relic of Legends 2 Insatiable Avarice 2 Season of Renewal 2 Intimidation Campaign // Sideboard 2 Insidious Roots 2 Rona, Herald of Invasion // Rona, Tolarian Obliterator
Legend deck Analyst deck, both are decks that seem to be a bit less fun on Arena. In paper both players can make assumptions. In Arena its a little painful to tap everything exactly correctly.
It was really low res for me at first, but google search says that can happen when a vid is first uploaded. We all just rushed over to see the video before it was done uploading to the servers :D
I wish Arena would implant a "present a loop" button so you can just play without tapping something wrong and actually win without wasting 20 min. on your combo.
Standard is great right now but I also hate that we have to ask ourselves if we are dead to mono red on turn 3 while we have 17 life and they have 1 creature on board with only two mana.
okay... i know this did well in the open... But i think it's a sub-par version of the deck for Bo1. The vial smasher combo isn't worth it. I play a temur cave centric version of Slogurk-Inti with spelunking, and creature lands aplenty and 4 Sunken Citadel (they work with channel land costs too). I would beaten the UW with creature lands long before the combo went off. Repulsive mutation and 1Dopplegang for fun - not recommended tho.
Cgb add in the reality chip!!!! With reality chip equiped to a creature with relic of legends in play lets you do literally play your library with rona and the relic of legends.....
I'm convinced MTG players (including myself as I struggle to pronounce some card names) are at least mildly illiterate despite how much reading we do of rules text cause like really brother... grenadier? Gren-ah-deer. Grenade. Someone who grenades things.... please brother.
I like the edits you did on this vid. but if you need a great editor i got u. i got some ideas for how to edit your videos to make them super cool. `dirtydan
