I'd say our dear late Majesty ran into that kind with that Sussex pair. Megain never met a rule she felt applied to her and made that abundantly clear. No wonder Her Majesty put her guard up. If the Queen wasn’t the ultimate diplomat that she was, her responses to inappropriate questions from Meghan’s would be utilized for monetary gain. I’m sure that the Queen has interacted with all sorts of people and has learned how to keep her thoughts private. One chooses friends wisely and learns which can be implicitly trusted.
I love tea, but - I have to start my day with hot coffee! On the trip with the Queen, Markle look like an unmade bed. Her hair was all over the place, and her outfit was too restricting. Why would Markle bring up Wallis Simpson, and then not take the social cue the Queen was giving her, which was "I don't want to discuss it"? No wonder the Queen realized there was going to be a problem with Markle.

Thankyou for raising this point. They did turn down visiting the queen days before she died, just as they turned down spending Xmas with her. Then made the plane carrying other family members to her death bed late waiting for harry while he argued about Meghan going with them. They will always wonder if they could have got there in time to be with her when she passed if they were not waiting for him. Ultimately they could not hold that flight any longer and had to leave him to organise his own way. The way he blames William for that, saying he had to get his own flight because William wouldn't answer his phone, is point on for Harry's complete fanaticism to blame his brother for everything, never Harry's fault. There were so many others he could have rung, but he was too busy in the phone to his father arguing about taking Meghan while his father was at his own mother's bedside while she was dieing.
