How The Shield rose to the top of WWE and defined a generation 

Really amazing how they have progressed over the years. Now they are the big 3 and are influencing future generations.

This video just proves that Dean/Jon was always underappreciated and was always the best with with mic skills, unpredictability and being overall more entertaining.

It really took me awhile to warm up to Roman when they was pushing him but I loved it how him and Ambrose stuck together

Seth Rollins is definitely the Shawn Michaels of our generation. Roman Reigns is Triple H of our generation. Jon Moxly is Mankind/cactus jack/Mick Foley of our generation

When i first saw them in survivor series 2012 i knew that one of them would take over the wrestling industry! I think it was the attire, body language and overall strong booking.

They stood up for themselves. They almost lost to a Cena led superteam, much like the Nexus two years earlier. Plus they only had three guys, and they all complimented each other. The Dynamo selected one, the ring technician, and later turncoat ,and the colorful enigmatic madman ,with great promo skills.

Them breaking up was literally the reason why I stopped watching wwe 😂 after that night I only kept up with wwe through their youtube channel and video games. And I was watching wwe for a good 3 or 4 years straight Raw,Main event and Smackdown every night I never missed a show.

They didn’t mainevent at TLC 2012, Dolph v Cena did. But I can tell you that their performance that night made them into stars.

Awesome vid! Super proud of these guys. I remeber the awesome days when the Shield was on top. Dean Ambrose was popular afterwards but being being Jon Moxly again in AEW has given him more freedom over his character. He seems pretty happy but I think he will return to WWE before his career is done. Roman took everything people hated about him as a good guy and became one of the best heels in the business. Any film oppertunities he has will serve to boost his profile and it turn benefit him and WWE. Seth has been so many different characters but the guy does so well and seems to have fun no matter what character he is.

I remember coming back to WWE right as the survivor series debut for the shield happened. I didn't know who these guys were but as soon as they started dominating everything I knew this was one of, if not the best trio faction in wrestling

Evolution is still my favourite stable. I grew up with attitude era and ruthless agression era. The shield were still pretty good for their time. They were original in their style and were a solid stable in times when things were starting to go a bit downwards for wwe. The only problem was they started pushing them seperately too soon. Evoltuion had it better. Randy and Batista instantly became fan favourites, so their solo career took a good start because they appeared much more dominant. You remember that Roman vs Brock Lesnar match in 2015 at Wrestlemania, it did not go well for Roman. The key to becoming a solid solo star is to be able to assert dominance oh high levels. Only after Roman came back after getting his cancer treated and adopted that Tribal chief persona, things started to move in his favour. Altough I must say the roaster at that time wasn't all that amazing. Randy and Batista had their starts when wwe used to be at its peak. Atleast things are starting to look good again for wwe after HHH is managing wwe. Thanks to major talents like LA Knight, Street profits, Chad Gables, Gunther, Dominik Mysterio, Main event Jey etc wwe has been quite a lively place for the past months.

It´s getting teased like on Royal Rumble when Seth faced Roman and comes out with the Shield music or on WM 40 when the same happened again.
