Aurel Bacs is a fantastic storyteller, sharing the amazing world and the fascinating history of timepieces with us all. Before I started collecting watches, I never dreamed I'd get so excited to learn about them. They really are a piece of history that can also be an integral and functional part of our lives. In a world that just gets faster and more 'digital', a wristwatch can be a delightfully 'analog' reminder of our shared past.

A cultural thing with South Asian Indians, who like to inject with expressions as a way of being 'in a dialogue' and is not meant to be irritating, or seen to be insinuating their self-importance. On the other hand, it is part of the educated Indian's peeve to do this, which is prevalent on Indian TV, but poorly suited to Western style media except in very informal setting.
