iv never worn or owned a watch, but after watching your videos i took an interest & started researching horology. I am now hooked! i no longer look at them as just watches, after seeing how much time, effort & skill is required to make those beautiful time pieces, they're works of art. Because of that i can now justify the price tag of a luxury watch, i hope to invest in my first piece soon. I really enjoyed listening to this man speak. keep up the good work.
Just Love the description of the Patek & it's history. So true! My wonderful Father would only wear his pink gold Rolex Bubble Back on special occasions. I am priveledged to have inherited, not only his watch, but this view on what these incredible timepieces are: a reflection of what Humankind can create.

Really cool video, as always! I really hope that Mr Bachs will be featured in a "Me, Myself & My watches" video, it's fascinating how he can grab the attention talking about watches.

Somehow seeing all these fantastic and rare watches makes me appreciate my own collection that much more, even if they are only worth a small fraction of these masterpieces!

Marc, This channel is awesome, keep up the great work; I just subscribed to this channel! I really like the clock in the background on the shelf! I have a Siffert (the Heuer shown on part 1) and really enjoy the watch.
Nice watch for sure and regarding the clock, it's a nixie clock made by artist Franck Buchwald and here a video we did about it if you want more info ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y-FVvLGPFno.html Best to you
amazing watches... still find funny how one can put a watch in a safe and rarely use it. I remember back in the day that watches were worn only on Sundays!!!
Now I liked reading this ;) and the ingredients are: passion, respect, professionalism, enthusiasm and will to share!!! Many many thanks and best to you
Looks like the person explaining the watches has a rather interesting Nixie tube clock. Seems there's some interest in those, when did that interest start?
A lot of museums etc. are moving away from using gloves when handling many items because the increased risk of dropping the item doesn't outweigh the small risk that brief handling of the item will lesson its condition.
When a person buys a watch and never wears it, in my opinion he has too many watches and doesn’t know which to wear. He bought it because of a dream but couldn’t really afford to wear it.
