I have a 2010 Iron XL883N, just happened to run across your video yesterday. Never seriously considered bags until I saw your video. The bags look great against the matte black finish of the Iron. Bought the same bags from Viking yesterday (they have a 15% off summer sale). Thanks for including side and especially rear views - I was sold on them immediately after watching your video. Will be watching your installation video when my bags arrive within the next 5 days. Again thanks and keep up the good work.
I had to basically disassemble my sporty iron back end to install your sissy bar, that's after I had to call and get the missing bolts sent out and still wrong size. The sissy bar was way too skinny for my struts covers, which I had to remove and the lights, also all this while the tire is on, I dontnhave a lift and I still had to bend the sissy waaaay out in order to get it on and the strut covers had to go, wouldn't fit with the Vikings Bag sissy bar for 2020 sporty iron. I don't know if I'll go back to them for another product, there are so many choices, I think I loved the fact that the sissy bar folded down in the back, big selling point, but the bolt holding that up was littelry stripped, so I had to zip tie it once i realized it was stripped and it fell right off. This is all right out of the box, no bolts, no instructions, sissy bar was too tight, I had to bend it out and still not able to get strut covers on and finally the bolt holding the fold down gas can back part is stripped so now my new sissy has a zip tie holding it from falling down. 🤷♂️ whattya do?! Sometimes u win, sometimes you lose, but Dennis Kirk, J&p, lowbrow, Weems, thrashing, Kruesi Originals are probably great examples of something like that most definitely not happening or when I called and complained, would of taken care of me, I called twice and got a bag of mismatched bolts sent to me, thats the solution I'm working with. Not saying terrible product or company. Thanks.

Hi Ken! I just realized I should probably come check these videos out since I made them for viking :) That is my custom explorer seat by saddlemen. Incredibly comfortable. Several videos on my channel about that seat on both this bike (Iron 883) and the saddlemen road sofa on my Indian Chieftain Dark Horse.
Saddlemen explorer ls with backrest they are a pain to find I had to get mine on eBay I know u can find some on revzilla but then been out of stock for a while

@@fix-it-alljohn9837 Okay. First, a passenger should still be able to comfortably sit on the bike even with the saddlebags installed. Second, you must relocate the turn signals and license plate to fit the sissy bar and the saddlebags.
@@fix-it-alljohn9837 Hi! It's me, motoblade, the guy in the video. Maybe I can help answer your questions. I have had a passenger riding on the Iron since installing these and the bags did not interfere with her securely setting her feet on the rear pegs. #2, I installed the sissy bar FIRST, the just made the holes in the bags to match the exact spots for my fender strut bolts. Easy to do.
I like the bags but don’t buy anything with a logo especially that visible. If I could take it out and put a Harley Davidson piece in its place I’d buy these like right now but I just think even though the product is nice “Viking” whatever is a bad name and I don’t want the logo
